I. Sky

This service is designed primarily for small businesses and startups. The system is simple, and even a beginner in accounting can easily understand it. The user is offered two main tariffs - Tandem, costing 500 rubles per month, and Team, costing 3,500 rubles per month. Plus an additional payment in each case for submitting reports to the tax authorities and funds, amounting to 100 rubles for each report.

Users, depending on the chosen tariff, are given different options regarding the number of accounting entries - for Tandem 100 thousand and for Team 1 million annually. At the same time, the same user can maintain accounting for an unlimited number of legal entities.

Reporting is possible in the simplified tax system, OSN and UTII. The function of downloading data from the 1C office program is available. It is possible to download information and generate reports in EXCEL format, as well as in the form of an xml file. It is possible to submit financial statements to the tax office without a personal digital signature through a company that supports the service.

Perhaps the only visible drawback of the service is its lack of promotion, which causes natural mistrust. Among the advantages, we should highlight the availability of SMS notifications about the submission of reports. The state of affairs can be monitored using a special mobile application.

This service has been operating for several years and has earned credibility among users. It is designed for businesses of all sizes and provides services for each accounting and reporting system, including submitting reports to the tax office and funds.

There is a database of regulations available, users are provided with all the news regarding the updating of legislation. You can also get advice from tax and accounting specialists through the service.

Among the main advantages of the service, a high level of security should be highlighted: DATA centers are located in Europe, the likelihood of unauthorized access is minimal. Information is backed up four times per hour. Access to accounts is differentiated by level (director, chief accountant). Notifications about submission of reports are carried out via email.

1C won with a crushing score. The company needs no introduction. Everything there is large-scale: 1C works with users through a partner network that includes more than 10,000 regular partners in 600 cities from 25 countries. In Ukraine, at first commercial companies supposedly then used 1C.

Turbo 9

The silver of our survey is with the accounting program Turbo 9, which was developed by the DRC (Dolgoprudny Research Center). To be honest, the program’s website looks like a relic from the days of dial-up internet. But there are online assistants, a forum, and a hotline.

However, developers offer a full range of software solutions: for automating accounting and tax accounting, for personnel management, and for warehouse or industrial accounting. There is a mini-program Accountant. It is designed for bookkeeping "from posting", without the use of operational documents.

Ekaterinburg developer SKB Kontur is preparing to launch an Internet service that will combine the functionality of the company’s existing SaaS applications for outsourced accountants, entrepreneurs and small firms. As the service develops, it will increasingly meet the needs of customers who currently prefer 1C, according to Kontur.


As CNews learned, by the end of October 2012 the SKB Kontur company will launch a new online service “Accounting.Kontur”. It will be located at b-kontur.ru and will combine the functionality of the developer’s existing services – “Eureka” (employee accounting, payroll calculation, etc.) and “Elba” (online accounting under a simplified tax system).

Head of Accounting.Kontur Ilya Bublik told CNews that the decision to combine two accounting SaaS services was a response to requests from clients and partners - “the popularity of the services is growing, and their audiences are increasingly intersecting.”

The transition period will last from the launch of the unified service until the end of the 1st quarter of 2013, after which the Eureka and Elba projects will cease to exist, and all existing users will be transferred to Accounting.

The new service will offer clients a choice of two options for use - Easy (for those who report under the “simplified tax” or UTII) and Professional (for reporting under the general taxation system). In addition, the service will provide the ability to submit reports via the Internet, exchange electronic invoices and a number of other functions.

Ilya Bublik sees individual entrepreneurs, existing micro and small businesses, newly created companies, as well as accountants providing services under the outsourcing model as a potential audience for the unified accounting service.

“The accounting outsourcing market is growing rapidly,” says Bublik. - Of the 2.5 million taxpayers in Russia, about 500 thousand use the services of freelancers. Another 300 thousand clients turn to official outsourcing companies, of which there are about 9,000.”

By the time of launch, Accounting.Kontur will be able to functionally satisfy the needs of about 25% of organizations reporting under the general taxation system, the developers believe. In a few months, with the addition of the ability to calculate property taxes, this figure will increase to 40%.

However, in the next 1.5-2 years, the audience of Accounting.Kontur is unlikely to have much overlap with 1C users, believes Ilya Bublik. But then, as it develops, Kontur will be able to claim both clients using the “broken” 1C and legal clients of the company, he adds.

Currently, the number of registered users of the Elba service exceeds 250 thousand, of which about 7.5 thousand use paid tariffs. For Evirika, similar figures are 70 thousand and 2.5 thousand, respectively. Such data were presented at the partner conference “ SKB Kontur”, held in September 2012.

SKB Kontur's revenue in 2011 amounted to 3.1 billion rubles. About 82% of the company’s revenue came from the online reporting service “Kontur Extern”. “Eureka” and “Elbe” accounted for about 2% of total revenue.

1C's revenue in 2011, according to CNews, amounted to almost 23.9 billion rubles, and the sales volume of the 1C ERP system, based on IDC data, exceeded $290 million (about 8.8 billion rubles). The company does not disclose sales volumes for individual products.

“1C” works according to a partner model, reminds CNews Alexey Kharitonov, head of the department for promoting economic programs at 1C. - Our “Software Rental” project (formerly), according to the partners participating in it, should bring them a total of 83 million rubles this year. (excluding revenue from our own, launched in May 2012 - CNews note), its growth in January-September 2012 compared to the same period in 2011 was 90%. As of the 3rd quarter of 2012, our partners rent out almost 12 thousand licenses for 1C:Enterprise 8 system programs.
