Children spend all their free time outdoors. Fresh air gives them strength, health, joyful and positive emotions. In order for the child to spend as much time as possible in the air, it is necessary to make a children's wooden house for him. It will definitely become a favorite place in which the child can hide and equip his own world.

The joint construction of the building will allow you to spend time with your child fun and provocatively. This activity will bring a lot of positive and unforgettable impressions to any boy or girl.

To date, the stores offer a wide selection of summer houses for children, but not every person can afford to buy it. Creating a design with your own hands according to an individual sketch that the child came up with will be the best solution.

Important: before you start building a structure, you should take into account all the wishes of your own child.

It is necessary to decorate the hut in bright colors. On the building you can draw your favorite characters from fairy tales and cartoons. The child should also be involved in this process, with the help of which he can show his talents and abilities. The house, which is made by the hands of a child, will become especially valuable for him.

What wooden house can be built for a child

The children's lodge is made of various materials which are available to each person. If building materials remain after the construction of the house, then you can, in general, not buy anything. You can make children's wooden houses from chipboard, fiberboard, beams, plywood and any other wood materials.

Plywood playhouse for a child

Before you start building, you need to create a drawing, layout or sketch. This will allow you to evaluate the structure, determine where to place the door and windows. It is desirable to arrange it so that it can be seen by parents, so the child will always be in sight.

The best places where a child can retire and dream are wooden children's houses, photos of which are presented here.

To create a plywood summer hut, you need 2-3 sheets of material. The amount of plywood used depends on the size and size of the structure. The material can be used in any thickness. In the store, it is sold with a thickness of 8-12 mm. Windows should be located 60 cm from the floor, and the doorway should be 30 cm higher than the height of the children. But do not forget about the size of the door, since an adult, if necessary, should get into it freely.

The building must be large so that it is spacious and roomy. The roof is installed at a 45-degree angle. Sheets of plywood are knocked together with nails, then window and door openings are cut out. The top is made from the same material as the walls. When the structure is erected, it is necessary to polish it with sandpaper or a special grinder. This will avoid splinters and skin damage.

The next step is decorating and installing furniture.

Attention: the painting of the structure must be carried out with enamels and varnishes that are safe for the child.

It is desirable to decorate the hut at the request of the child. Colors should be chosen bright, colorful, saturated. For a girl, the design can be painted in a bright pink color, as in the presented photo.

Children's house for a child from wooden boards

The structure of wooden boards is practically not subject to wear. Therefore, several generations of children will play in the built hut. At first, a son or daughter will be in charge of it, and after a while - a grandson or granddaughter. For a large family, it is important to build a large temporary hut so that all the guys intervene in it. A video instruction for building a structure from boards can be viewed below.

To build the frame of the building, you will need bars with a cross section of 5 cm. A children's designer - a wooden house will turn out to be strong and durable if its surfaces are treated with deck varnish. For windows and doors, special inserts are made, which are placed in a vertical position. The constructed frame to enhance strength is upholstered with thinner wooden planks, the thickness of which should be more than 2 cm.

The roof structure is made of timber of the same section. It should be installed on already finished walls. Thin boards from 2 cm are stuffed onto the roof.

Warning: To prevent the roof from leaking, the roof must be reinforced with waterproofing.

A plastic cap can be installed over the waterproofing material. After completion of construction, the structure is painted in a pre-selected range of colors and covered with deck varnish. The photo shows a children's facility for boys.

Hut on legs for a child

An interesting house - a hut on legs will help you find yourself in a fairy-tale land. Fairy house can be of various sizes, shapes, colors. The photo shows one of the interesting, creative designs of a children's playhouse.

To build a hut, the legs can be made of wooden blocks, metal pipes, stones, and other decorative materials can also be used.

Important: The house is intended primarily for children, so do not make the legs too high.

The height of the legs should not exceed 70 cm. In this case, it is necessary to install a small ladder or several steps. If the legs are created from pipes, then the pillars should be dug into the ground 1/3 of the pipe. The base of the legs must be fixed. For example, pour concrete.

A bar of wood is hammered onto the upper part of each pipe, to which the base of the hut is attached. The foundation can be made from boards with a cross section of about 4 cm. Then a structure is built from boards. The resulting frame is sheathed with thin boards, after which the roof is erected. The roof is made from the same materials as the entire structure.

The entrance to the hut on legs is equipped with a comfortable staircase with railings. The railing should be approximately 50 to 70 cm high. Their height is determined by the age and height of the child. The steps should be at least 20 cm so that it is convenient to climb them, and the legs fit completely into them.

A children's wooden house for giving can be supplemented with an original sandbox, horizontal bars for physical exercises, a game complex of game and sports equipment. All elements must be painted in bright colors. Nearby you can break a flower garden or flower bed. The child will look after her and develop her talents and abilities.

Dollhouse for a child

The dream of any child is a beautiful, roomy house for his toys and dolls. Small children love to play with toys, scattering them in every corner. A do-it-yourself dollhouse solves this problem once and for all.

A huge house for dolls the size of a closet can be built by any parent. To do this, you need to show a little imagination and skill. Children's wooden dollhouse can be made from chipboard or any other similar materials. To create a structure, you will need a jigsaw, glue, chipboard sheets. Anyone can build it, as the design is so easy that even a child can handle it.

Important: a wooden dollhouse must be made from materials that are safe for the child.

The box is very easy to assemble. On the walls, you can cut out small windows and glaze them with thin transparent glass, thick, multi-colored film, or use plastic bottles. Using a flashlight, you can electrify the structure. You can decorate the doll house with drawings, thin boards, stickers, laces, ribbons. In order to make a unique house, you just need to show imagination.

DIY dollhouse

Before starting the construction, it is necessary to draw a plan or sketch of the future structure, as well as consider where the windows, doors and stairs will be located. It is necessary to take into account the smallest details and the wishes of your own child.

To create a multi-storey closet for toys and dolls, you cannot do without a detailed drawing. It is easier to redo the drawing, in case of changes, than to disassemble the constructed structure.

Important: The size of the house must match the height of the dolls and the dimensions of the toy furniture.

The house must have windows, doorways, stairs, bathroom, light. When wiring a house, it is necessary to consider the insulation of all cables so that they do not pose a danger.

Warning: Do not use lamps that get hot.

If electrical installation work is difficult, then you can do without lighting. Wooden children's houses for dolls decorated with colored paper, wallpaper, pieces of multi-colored fabrics. Maximum realism can be achieved with the help of curtains on the windows, paintings on the walls, rugs. Surround the finished building should be a fence, as well as build a garage, veranda, swimming pool.

After the completion of construction work, it is important to make sure that screws, nails and other sharp elements do not stick out of it. And then the wooden structure for dolls will become a favorite toy for the child.

Ennobling their own suburban area, the owners apply all their imagination to this. Well-groomed paths, gazebos and terraces - all this is good for spending time with an adult family. But you can’t forget about children either: themed outdoor games will have the best effect on their health. In addition to the sandbox and swing, for a child, you can build a plywood house with your own hands. There you can hide from short-term rain and come up with new entertainment.

A plywood house will decorate the site and make the child's games fun and varied.

Construction takes a little time and is not too expensive. First you need to draw a sketch of the future house on paper. Given the scale, you can immediately determine the right amount of material. You should immediately calculate the place for construction and take into account that the tree should not be in the shade or dampness. In the process of work, the parts will be covered with protective compounds. But this will not save if the children's territory is constantly in contact with moisture. The question - how to make a house - is not difficult if you purchase everything you need at once.

For the option of building a children's house, you can take puppet models from the toys of your own child. In addition, view all the sketches and models offered by the Internet, or come up with your own.

Work materials

To make a house, you will need a jigsaw, knife, tape measure, self-tapping screws, a screwdriver.

  1. Plywood. Its thickness varies from 8-12 mm. Based on the drawn sketch, the total area of \u200b\u200bthe parts is summed up and the right amount is obtained if converted to standard sheets.
  2. Bar. A section of 50 * 50 mm should be enough, unless the owners are going to build a capital residential building.
  3. Soft tiles according to the size of the roof of the house.
  4. Plexiglas or plexiglass. Such windows will be safer than real glass.
  5. Beads for inserting windows.
  6. Fasteners. It can be both nails and screws. It is desirable that they be made of stainless steel. The length is selected in accordance with the thickness of the plywood, so that the sharp ends do not protrude outward in any case - children climb everywhere, and injuries are unacceptable.
  7. The hinges are also stainless, for window and door shutters.
  8. Coating compositions - paints, varnishes, water-repellent mastics and more. All chemicals must be water-based and have a special label. Volatile solvents and alkyd paints should be avoided - their compounds are dangerous for the health of children.

Stages and features

When creating a house on paper, you need to take into account the age and height of the child. The theme of the “hut” depends on the first one - a big child, especially a boy, will want something fantastic or courageous, unlike kids who still delight in a fairy tale. The size of the building depends on the second condition - the child should not crawl there. Yes, and an adult should get there freely. You need to enter, crouching slightly. The optimal dimensions may be the height of the door 30 cm higher than the height of the child and the slope of the roof is not less than 45 °.

Drawing of a children's house made of plywood.

  1. Pieces of timber are cut with a hacksaw for the future frame. All parts are cleaned with sandpaper or machine and impregnated with a protective compound against mold and fungus.
  2. After that, details are cut out of plywood. If the design of the house is simple, like a box, then you can use an ordinary saw, but, as a rule, parents want to admire and create something unusual, so the details can be wavy, round, and so on. An electric jigsaw will come in handy here, allowing you to cut any shape. Plywood elements are also cleaned and treated with protective coatings. Given that there will be a lot of construction dust, it’s not bad to use a vacuum cleaner and put on a respirator.
  3. During the time that the details of the future house are soaked and dry, you need to prepare a place for the building. It must meet several requirements: be visible; located in a dry place without shady and high vegetation; located in such a way that a sandbox with a swing can also fit into the area reserved for children's entertainment.
  4. The earth is cleared of grass, covered with a layer of sand or expanded clay with limiters made of wooden boards. To protect the bottom from moisture, you can lay rubber or foam. The orphanage can also stand on supports, which will create an additional prevention from contact with moisture.
  5. Frame construction. There is no special wisdom, you just have to take into account the width of the plywood parts and thus build a frame with a certain step of the bars. The children's house does not provide for being in it in cold weather, so we will not talk about any heaters. A layer of plywood on the outside will suffice. Of course, when creating a plywood house, some make it in the form of a miniature copy of the real one, but this is for people who are passionate about the idea. If the owners are one of these, you can dare and be guided by the instructions for building a real house.
  6. After the hull frame is ready, proceed to the construction of the roof. It should be gable and with such an inclination that it would be a problem for the child to climb there. Flat ones are not recommended: jumping on the roof, you can break it and get injured. The work of installing the roof is also simple: they make the main frame of the beams, then they fill the crate, with a step corresponding to the width of the plywood sheet. After sheathing the roof, it must be covered with a rainproof material. Decking or slate is absolutely not suitable, they are heavy, and the edges are sharp. Ruberoid or other chemical coating due to heating by the sun's rays will emit pungent odors - this is suitable for a residential building, but not for a children's building, due to the baseness of the structure. You can splurge on soft tiles - it is safe from any side and you need a little of it.
  7. The frame is sheathed with finished elements using a screwdriver or hammer. It is necessary to ensure that the sharp ends of nails or self-tapping screws do not come out. If this does happen, the excess is cut off or filed off. After sheathing, you need to close up all the cracks and joints of plywood, in order to avoid drafts. For this, both mounting foam and any other sealant are suitable. Sloppy marks can be cut off after curing.
  8. After all the work done, the structure must first be primed, and then it can be painted. Inside it is very convenient to use a paint sprayer or balloon options. Outside, work is done with brushes and a roller. Coloring the orphanage is a great way to get your child to work. Having come up with a plot together, you can draw the outlines of a fairy tale or heroes, leaving the kid to color it in later. You can paste over the orphanage with all sorts of posters from his favorite comics. And then varnish them. There are a lot of ways to decorate - which one to choose, the child will decide for himself, because this is his territory

Our children love not only to play and communicate. They are our little personalities. And, like all individuals, they need a closed space where they can retire with their "secrets", dream, play adulthood and even ... sometimes cry. If you have the opportunity, build a children's house in the country with your own hands.

In this article, I present you two options for building playhouses: the first is simpler, the second is more difficult.

House for babies from 2 to 6 years

We will build a simple wooden house, but you can well ennoble it with beautiful coloring, carvings, imitation of a chimney, and so on, as the author of this pretty building.

The dimensions of the house: 1.7x1.7 m along the perimeter and 2.5 m in height, which is quite enough for kids 2-6 years old. To build it, we need:

  • 4 sheets measuring 2x1.7 m;
  • for walls: 13 bars with a section of 2.5x2.5 cm, 2.5 m long, 8 of which are made with one pointed edge;
  • for floor supports: 8 bars with a section of 2.5x2.5 cm, 35 cm long;
  • for fastening the floor horizontally: 4 boards with a section of 15x5 cm, 2 m long;
  • for flooring: 13 boards with a section of 15x5 cm, 2 m long;
  • metal corners, self-tapping screws, brushes and paint.

Site preparation and flooring

  1. Arm yourself with pegs and twine, mark out a suitable area measuring 2x2 m.
  2. Carefully level the surface and tamp the site.
  3. At the corners of the site, dig holes 20 cm deep, strengthen the wooden beams there so that they rise 15 cm above the surface.
  4. In the middle of each side of the site (along the perimeter), make 1 more hole, strengthen additional bars there in the same way as the corner ones. Cementing is not required. Carefully check the height of the supports, because we are making the base of the floor of the house, and distortions are unacceptable.
  5. Then you need to nail 4 boards to the supports. We will get a box open at the top.
  6. On the box, close to each other, put the boards, secure with screws.

Walls for the house

  1. Take a sheet of chipboard (chipboard) measuring 2x1.7 m and two pointed beams 2.5 m long. Screw the beams to two sides (2 m) of the chipboard sheet with screws. The upper ends of the bars should be flush with the edge of the chipboard sheet, and the lower (pointed) ones should protrude by 0.5 m. This will be the first wall of the house - deaf.
  2. In the same way, you need to make 3 more walls, but cut openings for windows in two, and for the door in the third. You can make one window - at your discretion.
  3. To build the walls, you will need 8 pointed beams and 4 sheets of chipboard. Make the dimensions and shape of the openings for the door and windows at your discretion, preferably wider so that there is more sun in the little house.
  4. Then it is necessary to fasten the walls together with the help of metal corners and screws, avoiding cracks and gaps.

Roof for a house

  1. Take 4 timbers, cut them from one end at a strictly 45 ° angle. By the way, it is not necessary to make a high roof, you can easily cut the roof beams to the height you need.
  2. In pairs, fasten 2 beams together with screws so that a right angle forms between them. You will have 2 triangular structures for the base of the roof. Fasten the internal joints of the triangular roof bases with metal corners (put on screws).
  3. Then attach one corner of the bars to the front wall of the house (where the door is located) and mark a triangle in order to close the space between the wall of the house and its roof. After carefully measuring, cut this part with a hacksaw. Do the same on the opposite wall of the house.
  4. Then fasten the triangular roof supports with a transverse beam - the frame is ready.
  5. Attach it with metal corners to the walls of the house.
  6. Cover the roof with thin laths, or other material - at your discretion. Maybe you still have pieces of colored slate - this material can be safely used to cover the roof.
  7. Then color your work with bright colors (optional).
  8. The children's house is ready to receive its little owners.
You can build this simplest structure in one day, and it does not require special skills in construction.

Wooden house for children from 6 years old

But the second version of the children's playhouse is more complicated, here you will need an assistant and more time.

To build such a children's house with your own hands, you will need the following materials:

  • for rafters: 8 bars with a section of 10x10 cm, 3 m long;
  • 60 boards with a section of 2x10 cm, 2.5 m long;
  • 50 boards with a section of 2x10 cm, 2 m long;
  • 2 wooden slats 2 m long;
  • 5 rails 70 cm long.
We do the laying of the house as it is customary for carpenters.
  1. We saw down the upper ends of the rafters at an angle of 30 °, fold them in pairs.
  2. We connect the rafters with ordinary self-tapping screws and metal corners, having previously outlined holes for them. We make sure that the distance between the ends of the rafters is 3 m.
  3. Then we strengthen the structure with a crossbar, which is located at a height of 0.8 m from the ground. This design can be used as a template, and the following rafter forms can be “cut” according to it. The work is not easy, and you will need an assistant, because you can fix the rafters at an angle yourself, but it’s almost impossible to lay the finished structures on the supports alone. By the way, about the supports: they can be made from long boards, concrete blocks or brickwork. But whatever support you use, it must be carefully aligned horizontally in order to prevent the house from skewing. And in order for the rungs of the ladder to be more reliable, the distance between 1 and 2 truss structures must be made 0.5 m, between 2 and 3 - 0.8 m, between 3 and 4 - also 0.8 m.
  4. After installing all the truss structures, proceed to laying the floor.
  5. The back side of the house is also sheathed with boards (you can also use plywood).
  6. On the second in front of the truss structure, a partition is installed, which is attached to the roof rails fixed on the floor of the house. The roof of this wonderful structure is sheathed with boards (with an overlap - a “herringbone”).
  7. One side of the roof (where the stairs are) is left open, and steps are made at the span, along which the children can easily climb up.
When building children's houses with your own hands, you can and should show creative ingenuity and imagination. I present to you a few ideas, maybe you will take some note.

Adorable mini house for the little ones.

The kids will surely like such a fabulous hut.

Or such a play dwelling - almost like a real house!

Kids just love tree houses. If it is not possible to build such an option, you can simply place it higher above the ground (at the same time

Rest in the country or in the backyard is a great way to spend time with the family. However, children often get completely bored away from the city and have absolutely nothing to do. In this case, a play complex comes to the rescue, which can be made inside a children's play house. Such a kind of shelter, for example, made of wood, will fill children's games with new emotions and variety, and the creation of such a product can become another family game.

If you have already thought about how to make a house with your own hands, but were afraid of complex schemes and drawings, do not lose heart. The construction of such a structure, with the right approach, will be able to amuse not only the children, but also their parents. It is important to acquire diligence, patience and a good mood. Then any work, especially such a creative one, will be a joy.

Getting Started: House Requirements

Enthusiasm is not enough to turn a child's life into a fairy tale and build a real, not fictional kingdom for him. It is important to carefully structure the work and understand the design features. Whatever house for children with your own hands you wish to make, it must meet a number of requirements:

  • The materials used must be completely safe (they must not be toxic).
  • The house must have a safe design.

Everything should be safe in a do-it-yourself children's playhouse, including: paintwork, impregnation for lumber, finishing and building materials. And also in the house there should not be rough surfaces and sharp corners. You do not want to treat the injuries of your beloved child later, do you?

Before starting work, it is useful to look at the Internet with examples of finished projects. Pay attention to drawings and diagrams, features of appearance. On the Internet, you can find ready-made wooden design projects, or you can design your own children's playhouse and create it together with your child. This approach will help to have fun not only for you, but also to allow the child to express himself creatively.

The dimensions of the children's house for giving with their own hands can be any. It all depends on the area of the site, the availability of materials and your desire. It can be a house, a hut, a castle, a lair. Any fantasy can be realized if you approach the work correctly. Don't be afraid of difficulties.

To build a house, you may need:

The finished product can be diversified with accessories, turning an ordinary building into a fabulous city or even a country.

Features of choosing a place

When choosing a place for a house, remember that this is primarily a playground. Therefore, it should be located as far as possible from parking spaces, ponds, barbecue areas. And also pay special attention to the presence of wells and septic tanks nearby - in no case should they be nearby!

The children's area can always be combined with a garden and then decorated:

  • Garden gnomes.
  • Children's labyrinths or green labyrinths.
  • Characters from your favorite cartoons.
  • Hammock.
  • Seesaw.
  • Sports stairs, horizontal bars, slides.
  • Backlit.

In addition to all of the above, the chosen place should be clearly visible from all sides of the garden and from the windows of a residential building. Before deciding on a place, inspect the area you like from all sides.

Wood- the most popular material for creating children's playhouses. It not only inspires confidence, but also looks very impressive. In addition, even a beginner can master the construction of a wooden children's house.

When choosing a material for a future home for a child, pay attention to the properties of the selected wood. For example, conifers have a beneficial effect on health, therefore, in addition to entertainment, in such a house your child will receive the prevention of many diseases. This is due to the high content of volatile substances in the needles, which activate the protective functions of the body.

The construction of such a wooden house will be able to decorate the cottage and also successfully fit into the interior of a country house or villa.

Before starting work, you need to decide with the exact size of the house. Decide whether additional elements such as slides, terraces, stairs will be present and take this into account when drawing up the drawing.

When drawing up a drawing, consider not only doors and windows, but also interior decoration, external decorative elements (if they are planned). When choosing sizes, remember that children grow quickly, and the interior decoration, as well as the size of the children's house, should take this into account.

What you should pay special attention to:

  • Roof.
  • Height of doorways.
  • Wall surface.
  • Stationarity, mobility and compactness of a playhouse for a child.
  • The height of the windows from the floor level and their number.

If it is planned to build a children's house for a preschool child - for the location of windows enough 700 mm from the floor level. Older children in such a house will be able to look out the window squatting down, and the younger ones standing up. Considering that the illumination of the room will depend on the windows in the house, there should be at least two or three of them.

When choosing the size of the doors, consider the height of the child. The doorway must be made no less than 400 mm taller than the height of the child. And the wall covering, in order to avoid injuries and abrasions, must be absolutely smooth and even. For the same reason, the roof must be made gable, and not even. Then the child will not be tempted to climb on it.

We build an orphanage: the necessary materials

Make sure that the purchased product is of good quality, read all the certificates. Make sure that there are no toxic substances in the composition of the purchased materials.

To build a wooden children's house with your own hands, you will need:

The easiest option for building a wooden house with your own hands is a wooden frame sheathed with a block house. What is a block house? This is a planed board made of logs. Products are available in standard sizes and in a wide range.

The main advantage of using a block house – strength, which makes it an ideal material for building a children's playhouse in a country house or garden plot. In addition, such a product will look equally impressive on the territory of the garden and the playground.

In addition to the above advantages, the block house material is environmentally friendly, and its prices are very low for building materials of this quality. And you can assemble a wooden house with your own hands, armed with a screwdriver, tape measure, hacksaw and level. Subsequently, such a children's house can be sheathed with vinyl, which will significantly improve its appearance.

The Basics: Building the Foundation

Any construction starts with building the foundation. To do this, before starting work, mark the installation site, according to the drawing, on the territory of the playground. Getting Started:

  1. With four pegs (40 cm in height) and twine, we place the future location of the house.
  2. In the corners of the marked area, we dig holes 100 cm deep. They will be needed for the support bars. we make the same holes at the locations of the pillars, for installing windows and doors. Always refer to the drawing to avoid unpleasant surprises.
  3. Before installation, all installed wooden beams must be carefully treated with impregnation from decay.
  4. We fill the finished pits with crushed stone to a height of 150 mm. Then a beam is installed on it.
  5. The installed supports are poured with cement. At this stage, construction must be interrupted until the cement base is completely dry. This will take approximately a week.

Floor and wall construction

A few days later, when the poured cement grabs a little, it is necessary to nail the four most durable beams onto the wooden supports. They are located at the level of the future floor of the gaming house. So we get a frame, with support bases in the corners and locations of windows and doors. Horizontally fixed beams complete the frame structure.

Let's start building walls and floors:

  1. In accordance with the drawings, the resulting frame base is sheathed with a block house. In order not to waste precious time adjusting the dimensions, purchase products in the store that match the dimensions of your drawing.
  2. After sheathing the structure, the places of windows and doors are cut out according to preliminary markings. Pay special attention to decorating openings: they should not have cracks and sharp corners - this can be dangerous for the child.
  3. To build the floor on the nailed base beams, we nail additional boards. You need to install them at the same distance from each other. As a result, you should get a strong and durable semblance of a lattice.
  4. Now, on the finished base, you need to lay out two layers of plywood. Make sure that the top plywood overlaps the seams of the bottom ones. This arrangement of plywood makes the floor as safe as possible.

roof construction

Roof gables should be made from the same material that was used to build the entire house. They should be triangular in shape, and in no case flat.

To create pediments you will need:

The construction of the roof is almost completed, it remains to decide on its external covering (if you have not already done so). On the Internet you can find many photos of various roof sheathing options. It can be tiles, straw, ondulin, boards or polycarbonate. It all depends on your capabilities and desires.

Finishing work

The construction of a wooden house for a child with his own hands is almost completed. Left decide on the design of your creation. It can be decorated with a shallow pond with your child's favorite cartoon characters. Or you can show your imagination yourself by decorating a wooden house in the style of Russian folk tales. Fortunately, on the Internet you can find many photos with options for such decors.

However, whichever finish you choose, remember that proper woodworking is key to the longevity of your playhouse. In addition, without appropriate processing, a wooden house will quickly lose its attractiveness.

In maintaining the longevity of a wooden house with your own hands, you will be helped by:

  • Impregnations and varnishes that create an invisible film that repels dirt. In addition, the protective film does not allow the wood to darken.
  • Fire retardants will reduce the combustibility of wood.

Use a roller to apply wood care products and follow the manufacturer's instructions.

As you can see, making a children's house for a summer residence with your own hands is not such a difficult mission. Just be patient and inspired. Create with your family and for your family And most importantly, don't be afraid to experiment. The procedure for building a children's house in the country with their own hands

First of all, you need to clarify what plan the future house will be, determine its appearance. For this purpose, a schematic drawing is first sketched out, which allows you to determine the type of building.

Characteristics of a children's country house, which must be determined before the start of construction work:

Development of a plan for a children's playhouse made of wood

Initially, a detailed construction plan is required, as well as sketches and drawings. It is important to take into account the specifics of the future structure:

  • The distance between the floor and the ceiling should be at least one and a half meters. However, it is undesirable to make the room too high.
  • It would be the right decision to install at least two windows. Firstly, such a measure will provide sufficient lighting in the room of the house. Secondly, you need to remember about the safety of children, who need constant supervision. Children can be monitored through the windows.
  • The door is recommended to be made to the level of the ceiling. So the child will definitely not fill himself with a bump on his forehead, besides, it is possible that adults will someday have to visit the baby.
  • In order to avoid unnecessary injury, all walls on the inside and outside must be smooth.
  • It is better to make a sloping roof, because a flat one can attract children, and sooner or later they will perch on the roof, which will create a traumatic situation.

Tools and materials for construction

Before you start building a small country house for children, you need purchase the following tools:

List of materials that will be required for the construction process:

  • Wooden beam for a frame house. Builders recommend using a beam with a cross section of 50X50.
  • Sheathing lumber. You should choose plywood, the thickness of which does not exceed 10 mm. Oriented strand boards are also used. They are cheaper than plywood, but more durable. Everything is at the discretion of the owners.
  • Roofing material.
  • Bricks.
  • Glass for window frames. It should be borne in mind that glass is not safe for a child, therefore, if there is a desire to increase the access of light to the house, then it is better to install plastic windows.

How to make a children's house: construction technology

Foundation and floor

By analogy with the construction of large houses, children's play houses start building from laying the foundation. As a base, you can use earth, gravel, cement or crushed stone.

There are different options that are suitable for laying wooden boards. Some remove the top layer of soil, cover it with rubble from above, level the site, and then lay support bars on the site. It can be done differently: each corner of the building must be paved on a special concrete block, and the supports are placed on a sand cushion. Thus, the corners of the building will be placed at a depth of up to half a meter. The earth from the recesses must be removed, and a mixture of sand and gravel is poured into them. Then the holes are carefully compacted.

Blocks are installed on the prepared places, which should be on the same level. So that the frame is not crooked, you should use building level.

Without a waterproofing layer, the house will not be able to stand for many years. Most often, roofing material or modern bitumen-polymer mastic acts as an insulator. Some prefer natural ventilation. In this case, a small house is built on metal rods or brick pillars no more than 20 cm high.

Walls

Having dealt with the foundation and floor, you can proceed to the installation of walls. To make walls, it is necessary to construct a frame from beams, which in the next steps are connected to thin sheathing boards or shields. Don't forget doors and windows. The first step should be to install a beam in each corner, the section of which, as a rule, is 50X50, and length - three meters. The product is cut into three equal parts or in half. Then the bars are attached under the door and window frames.

To fix the main bar, it is nailed to the floor with nails. The main thing is that then these nails can be easily pulled out. This measure is explained by the fact that ensuring a strong connection of building units is possible only with the help of special mounting corners, which are installed later.

Between the rafters, auxiliary struts are installed without fail, which act as fasteners. Keep in mind that the bars are connected from above by a frame that acts as the basis for roofing. After the base for the walls is prepared, the nails are pulled out, and in their place install metal brackets. The playhouse will stand firmly and will not fall apart only when all corners and joints are fastened with corner fasteners.

Bars installed in a horizontal plane mark window openings and a door. Their height is calculated in advance. Calculations are based on the width of the cladding board. Such dimensions should be laid down so that during sheathing work there is no need to cut the boards according to their width or hide half the frame. In short, you need to figure out how many solid boards can fit into the remaining lower and upper opening. At this level, horizontal braces should be fixed.

Roof

The roof of a small do-it-yourself playhouse can be high and sloping. The design of the roof depends on personal preference. Classic performance requires the following algorithm of actions:

Sheathing and decoration of the house

The final stage of construction includes the sheathing and design of the structure. To create walls, lining, shields or wooden boards are used. Lining will allow reduce upholstery time, since there is no need to fit elements that fit together without problems. Since the task was to make a children's house, it would not be superfluous to decorate it with colorful drawings. Children themselves can be involved in the creative process. Windows can be decorated with carved platbands, which are purchased separately, or made by hand.

A bench and a table are made inside a small house, but, of course, these are not the only interior items that can decorate a room. A small porch will give the house a more noble look.

The main thing is that the constructed play structure does not pose a danger to the health of the child. We are talking about the proper fastening of the elements of a wooden structure. It is important that children do not get hurt or scratched during outdoor games. Boards must be carefully cut, and apply a protective layer of some paint and varnish substance.

Self-tapping screws, nails and metal staples should not stick out and stick out, they are closed with special plugs.
