The Cheetah gas boiler is produced by the Proterm company. In principle, it has proven itself well on the Russian market, but at first there were problems with these devices. Some boilers had problems with the software and the functioning of the “brains”. Over time, manufacturers took this into account, and now the occurrence of errors is rather an exception to the rule. There are no complaints about the components, their quality does not raise any questions.
Gepard boiler – double-circuit
Let's start with the fact that the Cheetah gas boiler is double-circuit. This means that this unit can simultaneously heat the coolant for the heating system, as well as water for the hot water supply. This is possible thanks to two heat exchangers.
Heat exchangers are installed in the combustion chamber above the flame - these are coils through which water flows. They are made of copper; to increase the heat transfer area, there are fins on the coil. Therefore, in the short time that the liquid is in the heat exchanger, it manages to heat up to the level set by the user.
For heating, the temperature of the coolant in the entire system is set, and for hot water supply, the degree of heating in flow mode is set. The maximum permissible water temperature for hot water supply is 65 degrees. At a flow rate of 11.4 l/min, the temperature delta is 30 degrees.
For example, if the water supply comes at a temperature of 15 degrees, then the boiler can produce 11.4 liters of water per minute at a temperature of 45 degrees. Gepard boilers are equipped with a hot start function. In just 2 seconds, the device heats running water to the required level. That is, when opening the tap, there is no need to drain water that has not had time to heat up.
The Gepard boiler has two smoke exhaust modes
The line includes two heater models:
- with natural smoke exhaust 23 MOV;
- with forced smoke exhaust 23 MTV.
