There are many supporters of both organic and mineral fertilizers. You can be an adherent of any method, but many still agree that natural plant supplements are most often more beneficial. At least due to the fact that they completely decompose in the soil. One such fertilizer is potassium humate. In this article, we will look at how to use it.

Humat fell in love with our gardeners and gardeners for a very long time. It is easy to use, and the effect of using this natural supplement is extremely good and noticeable even to the naked eye. It is obtained from completely natural natural ingredients. Potassium humate is produced from the remains of vegetation; extracts from peat, manure and even lake silt are also used for this. In some cases, lignite is used as raw material. The natural components of humate have a pronounced stimulating effect. So, with the preliminary soaking of seeds, the degree of their germination sharply increases. If you process cuttings with it, then the chances of their rooting increase significantly.

To process seeds, seedlings and cuttings, you should prepare a solution at the rate of 20 ml of the drug per 250 ml of water. Soaking is carried out for 10-15 hours a day before planting.

How to breed potassium humate?

If potassium humate is used for irrigation, a composition is prepared at the rate of 50 ml of the drug per bucket of water (10 l). For a large cultivated area, you can start from the ratio of 1 liter per 200 liters of water (one barrel).

Perennial plants are treated four times with a solution for irrigation: the first treatment is carried out in early spring. 3 weeks later, a second treatment is performed. After the formation of buds, humate should be applied a third time, and the last - fourth time - during flowering.

Liquid peat humate with a potassium composition has proven itself very positively. This fertilizer is in the form of a dark brown liquid. It has a stimulating effect and contains 80% of the main substance. Liquid potassium humate on a peat basis, produced as a result of processing natural peat, by extracting many active substances from it (phosphorus, nitrogen, trace elements and potassium). It is very rich in mineral and organic trace elements. Peat liquid potassium humate contains up to 30 useful and nutritious microelements.

Instructions for using this fertilizer are not complicated: you just need to dilute the concentrate in water with a concentration of 0.01%, depending on the purpose and the fertilized crop. This type of humate is used for soaking seeds and planting materials, seedlings, as well as root and non-root fertilizer of crops.

In order to improve the condition of the soil, increase the composition of organic matter in it, liquid potassium humate is added to the ground in the form of a concentrated solution of 0.1-0.2% of the main substance.

The considered fertilizer in combination with pesticides and mineral fertilizers is considered very effective. It can be mixed without any restrictions with nitrogen, organic fertilizers, even potassium.

Liquid potassium humate is not combined with phosphorus preparations due to the formation of compounds that are not able to dissolve. They are recommended to be added separately. If you have any doubts about any other pesticides or organic substances, then it is better to take each drug in small parts, mix and look at the reaction. If, as a result of this compound, no precipitate forms, then the preparations can be safely mixed and used as a fertilizer.

The treatment of growing plants with a non-root method in combination with mineral preparations and pesticides has one very big advantage - this contributes to a significant reduction in nitrates and poisons in a growing plant and a grown crop.

Humus is the main component of the soil, which is responsible for its fertility. Humates are directly involved in the passage of biochemical processes. To improve the fertility and quality of the soil, the industry has developed an organic type of fertilizer - potassium humanate.

The composition of the series includes potassium, which is filled with important trace elements, thanks to which fruit and other rural crops are saturated with useful properties. This tool has found its application in many owners of various land crops, ranging from simple lovers of indoor plants to professional farmers.

Description and composition of the preparation potassium humate

The main feature of the drug is the acceleration of growth and development, the reduction of soil acidity, the acceleration of metabolism in the earth's environment.

This fertilizer includes the following elements:

  • Various humic acids;
  • Components that stimulate the production of plant growth;
  • Peptides;
  • Wax and fats;
  • special enzymes.

The potassium contained in the composition contributes to the passage of photosynthesis, the distribution of carbohydrates over the entire surface of plants. Potassium humate is designed to work with seeds, cuttings, seedlings and bushes.

Note! This drug serves as a fertilizer, so the soil to be cultivated must have an alkaline and podzolic environment.

Types of fertilizer

Dry

The dry preparation of potassium humate finds its purpose in establishing the immunity of plants, promotes rapid growth and the formation of fruits.

Fertilizer actively strikes at the functioning of the root system, and also normalizes the vitamin balance and soil microflora.

It has been proven that a kilogram of potassium humate powder replaces a ton of humus. The cultivated soil does not lose its properties and characteristics, harmful metals come out of it.

in liquid form

Humate in liquid form is close to dark in color, it is produced by separating various microelements and nutrients from peat. This fertilizer is easy to use, just mix it in water. The proportions are chosen depending on the purpose of processing.

Potassium humate "Prompter"

This drug is produced from layers of humic sapropel, this substance is found in the deposits of reservoirs. Fertilization with this complex should be carried out several times a month, during the period of active growth, and then once every one and a half months.

Benefits of Using Potassium Humate

The main task of humate lies in establishing the correct growth of plants and fruits.

In addition, the complex is saturated with a large number of useful properties:

  • It tones up the immune system and makes plants as resistant to diseases and pests as possible;
  • Accelerates the growth of seedlings;
  • Environmentally friendly;
  • Thanks to him, the crop is stored longer;
  • Plants tolerate frost more easily;
  • Fruits appear much earlier;
  • Improves soil quality;
  • Makes the root system stronger.

How to dilute the drug?

Powder and liquid preparation are diluted in water at normal temperature. If powder is used, then it is advisable to leave the fertilizer for a couple of days before use, so that all the particles dissolve in it, and then strain through gauze. It is important to follow the instructions and do not increase the concentration of the product.

Instructions for use for various crops

For vegetables and herbs

The first fertilizer is carried out before sowing the crop. To do this, before leaving for planting, the material should be left in a solution that contains 1 liter of water and 0.5 grams of potassium humate. Doses are recommended to be measured with a syringe.

Soaking time depends on what needs to be planted:

  • For seeds, a day;
  • For bulbs 8-9 hours;
  • For tubers 9-12 hours.

For grain crops

Grain crops are watered with potassium humate just before sowing. For 1 ton of seeds, 100 grams of a liquid preparation is taken, it should be diluted in 10 liters of water. Thanks to humate, the root system is strengthened and the germination process is accelerated.

For fruit crops

Such crops are treated by spraying the leaf, or watering under the root. The following periods of processing of fruit and berry crops have been established:

  1. Before flowering.
  2. During the formation of the ovary.
  3. During fruit ripening.

50-70 milliliters of liquid humate are stirred in 1 liter of water. Thanks to this bait, the fruits accumulate more micronutrients. Potassium humate is a safe complex, so the taste of the fruit does not change, it becomes the most pronounced and juicy, the yield increases.

For garden flowers

Garden plants especially need top dressing in the spring. Perennial flowers are processed during the growing season, and annuals, after the appearance of all sprouts. In the future, flowers are processed regularly every couple of weeks.

To obtain a solution, you must:

  1. Set aside the seeds for one day in solution, and the bulbs and tubers for half a day. Take 50-100 ml of the drug and 1 liter of water.
  2. For irrigation, the same principle is taken and 3-10 liters per m2 are used.
  3. To spray flowers, add 50-100 ml of the solution to a ten-liter bucket, then use 1.5-3 liters per 100 m2.

For indoor plants

This drug is also popular with owners of indoor vegetation. Indoor plants also need protection, despite the fact that they are in more gentle conditions than outdoor plants.

Among domestic green "favorites" you can find both simple crops that are not very demanding on the conditions of detention, and plants that need special care and regular feeding. For these purposes, bait is performed during the entire period of the life of the greens.

Note! Experts recommend purchasing a universal prompter for home plants. At the time of the onset of the active phase of flowering and growth, the plants are fertilized every month, and the most vulnerable every two weeks. During the dormant period, feeding becomes less frequent, about once every 1.5-3 months.

Preparations and manufacturers of potassium humate

  • NGO "POWER OF LIFE". Russian industry that develops fertilizers. They are mined from various deposits in Siberia. Standard packaging size 0.5 l.
  • The Sakhalin Humates company mines components on Sakhalin Island. The standard large package is 5 liters and the small one is 500 ml.
  • Firm "Green section". Distribute 500 ml packs. The same brand produces hydrogel for various kinds of fertilizers.
  • As part of the Krepysh fertilizer, in addition to the main component, there are other complementary ones.

Precautionary measures

When working with this fertilizer, it is important to remember that it is not combined with phosphorus-containing preparations.

If you use these products at the same time, then chemical reactions will begin in the soil, due to which salts accumulate in the soil. This process leads to the fact that the composition of the soil begins to change the chemical and mechanical composition.

Reviews about the drug

I learned about this fertilizer a few years ago, since then I have been using it only. On the recommendation of my friend, I bought potassium humate and started working with it. I mainly need it to fertilize seeds before planting until harvest. During the use of fertilizer, I began to notice results, the soil became much better, and fertility also increased.

Irina, 38 years old

I have been using humate for over 10 years and have never regretted it. I use this drug when transplanting plants to another place. A day before transplanting, I leave the plants in solution, and then the process of transferring to a new place is easier and the survival rate increases. I am very glad that such a drug exists, so I recommend it to all my friends.

Evaluation: This drug has at the same time a simple composition, but with a large number of useful substances. Numerous reviews of farmers and ordinary amateurs leave no doubt about its action.

Even a novice gardener knows that it is impossible to get a rich harvest without fertilizers. Especially if we are talking about a long-cultivated soil, which can no longer live without constant replenishment of nutrients.

There are many proponents of both organic and any method, but many still agree that natural plant supplements are often more beneficial. At least due to the fact that they completely decompose in the soil. One such fertilizer is potassium humate. In this article, we will look at how to use it.

What is it all about?

Humat fell in love with our gardeners and gardeners for a very long time. It is easy to use, and the effect of using this natural supplement is extremely good and noticeable even to the naked eye.

It is obtained from completely natural natural ingredients. Potassium humate is produced from the remains of vegetation; extracts from peat, manure or even lake silt are also used for this. In some cases, natural humate components act as a raw material and have a pronounced stimulating effect. So, with the preliminary soaking of seeds, the degree of their germination sharply increases. If you process cuttings with it, then the chances of their rooting increase significantly.

Fertilizer is equally useful for flowers and fruit trees and potted plants. Simply put, it is universal. Contains a lot of potassium, phosphorus and other trace elements. But potassium humate is richest in humic acids. It is their action that helps to get really clean products in the face of ever-increasing environmental pollution.

Does it suit all cultures so well?

Experienced gardeners know that truly universal fertilizers do not exist. So is this remedy as good as we have just talked about it? We will assure you right away: today there are no such crops that would react negatively to humate. Almost always, the effect of its use is closely related to the characteristics of the soil on which your garden stands.

Note that fertilizers of this type are extremely useful on soils that contain very little iron. In addition, feeding with potassium humate is useful on alkaline soils (especially on them), saline ones, and it is pointless to pour a solution of the product on black soil, since you still won’t notice a special effect. In addition, agronomists have identified several crops that are particularly responsive to the introduction of this substance into the soil:

  • All nightshades (including potatoes and tomatoes), as well as beets (and fodder, too), respond well.
  • Almost all cereals show a significant increase in yield.
  • Legumes practically do not change the performance.
  • Sunflower and pumpkin under normal conditions do not react to potassium humate, its use is impractical.

It was no coincidence that we emphasized that the latter types of plants do not give growth under “usual” conditions. If the year was bad, or if you planted them on low-quality soil, then humic acids can work wonders! In a word, you should experiment yourself, making sure of the effectiveness (or inefficiency) of this tool in your garden.

Thus, potassium humate is still universal. Its use can be recommended in almost all cases. You can read about when not to use it at the end of our article.

What is the effect of its use?

Plants acquire a healthier and stronger appearance, the growth and development of their leaves and root system improves. In vegetable and fruit crops, the taste qualities of fruits are sharply improved. In addition, humic acids can significantly reduce the content of nitrites and nitrates in fruits. They largely revive and contribute to the development of beneficial soil microflora.

How to use it for soaking?

How to use potassium humate correctly? For soaking seeds, it should be taken at the rate of 0.5 grams per 1 liter of water. Everything is simple, but how can such an insignificant amount be measured in domestic conditions?

To make your work easier, let's say right away that about three grams of humate fit in an ordinary teaspoon. Thus, we take a third of a spoon to dilute its contents in two liters of water. The easiest way is to use ordinary plastic bottles to prepare the solution.

Flower bulbs in it can be kept for about eight hours, and it is better to increase the exposure time of seeds to a day. If it comes to carrot seeds, then they can be kept for two days at all. The cuttings are soaked for approximately 12-14 hours, lowering them into the fertilizer solution for 2/3 of their length.

We use humate as a fertilizer

We continue to study potassium humate. Instructions for using it as a "classic" fertilizer will be somewhat different. First, you need to take a much lower concentration. Despite its natural origin, you should definitely not forget about the sense of proportion. Excellent humate is suitable for which is carried out by conventional spraying of horticultural or horticultural crops. This method is extremely good, because through the leaf blades of plants, the fertilizer almost instantly reaches the "addressee".

Spraying and watering

This method is good because you do not have to rush around with a bucket among the beds, and the consumption of the solution is reduced. You only need to walk around the garden with a sprayer. For ten liters of water in this case, no more than three grams of fertilizer is required. Important! Carefully filter the water, as it may contain many small particles of peat, which at once clog the spray nozzles of the same "Beetle".

As for watering, they are carried out three times with an interval of two weeks. The treatment period should coincide with the time of intensive growth. First, at least half a liter of solution should fall on one plant, and then the volume is adjusted to a liter (for the third treatment).

For convenience, it is better to water the seedlings immediately after planting them in open ground, then repeat the treatment while setting the buds, and the third time the plants should be watered during their flowering. In this case, the concentration should be increased: a tablespoon of the substance is taken per bucket of water (ten liters). Here is how to apply potassium humate.

How to properly dissolve?

It is better to dissolve it in a warm liquid. First, it is better to pour some water with a temperature of about 50 ˚С into a bucket, pour the required amount of humate into it, and then stir thoroughly. When no clearly visible lumps remain in the solution, the volume of liquid can be brought up to ten liters.

Everything would be fine, but it is not very convenient to dilute significant amounts of fertilizer in an ordinary bucket all the time. And if you have a large garden that requires several hundred liters of humate solution? Therefore, it is better to immediately prepare its concentrate. To do this, take a dozen tablespoons of fertilizer, after which it is dissolved in a liter of warm water. If you pour the resulting solution into an ordinary plastic bottle, it can be used for a whole month.

As it is easy to figure out, 100 ml of such a mixture is equivalent to a tablespoon in which fertilizer is located. Potassium humate in this form is extremely convenient to use. Half a glass of solution is enough for a bucket of water. This is the dose for root dressing. If you want to spray your plantings, then for the same ten liters you will need to measure 50 milliliters already. Attention! Do not forget about filtering: we already wrote above that the smallest lumps can be in the water. During storage, humic acids often precipitate, so that the likelihood of blockage of sprayer nozzles increases dramatically.

Issue price

By the way, how much does potassium humate cost? The price per liter of liquid is about 130 rubles (but it is better to cook it yourself). The cost of dry powder does not exceed 30 rubles for 25-30 g.

Improving the structure of the soil

If you want to improve the characteristics of the soil on your site, then simply scatter 50 grams of this wonderful fertilizer on ten square meters. To ensure uniform distribution over the area, the powder should be mixed in advance with ordinary river sand. Then all this should be thoroughly mixed by walking around the place with a rake. If you mix humate with ash, it is better to scatter it in early spring. So you will not only speed up the melting of snow, but also ensure excellent soil fertility before planting.

Composts are everything

Surely every more or less experienced gardener knows how good organic compost is as a fertilizer. But there is a problem: the hard parts of perennial plants, as well as weed seeds, rot for an extremely long time, sometimes “pleasing” garden owners even after a few years. A feature of humic acids is their ability to destroy the rigid cellulose of dead plants. We suggest you take advantage of this property.

In addition, humates sharply increase the activity of saprophytic microflora, which also contributes to the acceleration of compost maturation and a significant increase in its quality. In order to obtain high-quality fertilizer, about three months before applying to the soil (at the end of spring, for autumn plowing), it is useful to irrigate the humus with a solution of humates, and the dose of fertilizer is calculated based on the need for about 10 grams of humic acids to decompose ten kilograms of compost.

Humus and its derivatives humates, humic acids are the most important constituents of the soil, which determine its fertility. They are the basic elements of soil biochemical processes. For the purposes of crop production, the industry produces potassium humate - an organic type of fertilizer containing a large percentage of humic acids.

In the process of decomposition of plant residues in the upper layers of the soil, humic acids are formed, their salts (sodium, potassium) are called humates. These natural compounds are essential for soil microorganisms. Consuming them in the process of life, they change the mechanical and chemical composition of the soil for the better, make it more permeable and air-conducting.

  • sapropel;
  • peat;
  • coal (brown);
  • lingnosulfates (secondary products obtained in the production of cellulose).

The production of two varieties of humic fertilizers has been launched: ballast-free and ballast. The first type is used as top dressing, the second type stimulates the growth of seedlings, strengthens the immunity of garden and vegetable crops. Release form: granules, tablets, powder, gel, paste, liquid concentrate.

Useful properties of the drug are determined by the composition: 80% - humic acids, 20% - enzymes, growth activators, peptides, amino acids. Appointment of humic preparations:

  • change for the better of soil characteristics, restoration of its fertility;
  • increased activity of soil microorganisms;
  • pH normalization;
  • more efficient use of organic matter introduced into the soil;
  • reduction of application rates of nitrogen fertilizers by 50%;
  • increasing the effectiveness of fungicides, insecticides, herbicides;
  • a positive effect on the appearance, taste of vegetables and fruits, maintaining their health, environmental cleanliness;
  • formation of stress resistance (weather, infections) in all plant species;
  • restoration, strengthening of the root system;
  • soil improvement (removal of harmful impurities).

The use of humic products on a personal plot does not have a negative impact on humans, domestic animals, and the surrounding nature. These drugs are not inferior to mineral fertilizers in terms of efficiency, they surpass them in terms of price, environmental friendliness.

Humic fertilizers can be combined with most of the mineral preparations (carbamide, ammonium nitrate, KAS-32). Gardeners note an increase in yields after the first year of their application. Fruits and vegetables harvested from plants that receive this type of nutrition during the growing season retain their marketable qualities and nutritional value longer.

Instructions for use

In the package with any form of potassium humate there is an instruction for use. It is produced in the form of a liquid concentrate and a brown powder. When using fertilizer, the pH level of the soil must be taken into account. The desired effect from the use of humic fertilizers is obtained on soils with an alkaline reaction.

Before applying any humic fertilizer, organic matter (humus, compost, manure) is introduced into the depleted soil or requiring annual restoration in the fall (spring). Immediately before making the soil loosen, moisten.

It is forbidden to apply humates together with fertilizers containing phosphorus (P), potassium (K), calcium (Ca). This requirement must be observed so that the synthesis of insoluble compounds that impair its quality does not occur in the soil. First, fats are introduced, which contain Ca, K or P, and only after 5 days - potassium humate or its analogues.

Potassium humate peat liquid

Summer residents prefer the liquid form of fertilizer . It is produced in the form of a concentrated brown liquid. The raw material for production is peat. For different types of treatments, a certain concentration of active substances is recommended, which is achieved by preparing a working solution, the basis of which is cold water.

  • from 0.1 to 0.2% of the liquid volume when preparing a solution for tillage;
  • 0.01% of the liquid volume when preparing a solution for treating plants of any kind.

On sale there is peat potassium humate, enriched with a complex of trace elements. It has a wider spectrum of action on plants, therefore it is more popular with amateurs (vegetable growers, flower growers, gardeners).

The concentrate is diluted in different proportions. The rate of humate per unit volume depends on the purpose of use:

  • seed soaking solution - ⅓ tablespoon per liter;
  • root dressing - 1 tablespoon per 10 liters;
  • foliar top dressing - 1 teaspoon per 10 liters.

Potassium Humate Prompter

Liquid variety of potassium humate. Due to the rich composition of organic substances and minerals, the drug is classified as a universal organomineral fertilizer. The use of the Prompter is indicated for the cultivation of vegetables, flowers, fruits.

With regular use throughout the growing season, its properties are fully manifested:

  • plants take root faster and easier after transplantation;
  • sudden changes in the weather do not reduce immunity;
  • the period of storage of fruits increases.

Potassium humate peat powder

The solid form of the fertilizer is represented by a brown powder, which, when dissolved in water, saturates it with all the necessary trace elements. It is easy to imagine the nutritional value of the product: 1 kilogram of powder is equivalent in its action to 1 ton of humus.

This type of fertilizer facilitates the hard work of the summer resident, accelerates the ripening of the crop. When using potassium humate, the collection begins 2 weeks earlier. For the future, the working solution is not prepared, it must be used immediately after preparation.

Powder of peat potassium humate is used to detoxify the soil after the use of pesticides. 50 grams of funds are spent on an area of 10 square meters; before use, it is mixed in equal proportions with dry sand. The mixture is scattered on the ground.

For accelerated maturation of organics, the powder is added in a volume of 10 grams per 10 kilograms of compost, humus, manure. It is possible to introduce organic mixtures under plants 3 months after treatment with potassium humate.

How to apply for garden and vegetable garden

The benefits of using potassium humate fertilizer in the garden, in the garden, were appreciated by many vegetable growers, gardeners, flower growers. The neutral pH level of this category of products does not cause soil acidification. Humic preparations are indispensable for processing before planting tubers, cuttings, seeds.

Application to cereals

Potassium humate solution is used to treat seeds of grain crops before sowing. The consumption of liquid concentrate per 1 ton of seed material is 100 grams, it is diluted in 10 liters of water. The drug accelerates the development of the root system of plants, ensures the appearance of friendly seedlings.

  • strong immunity;
  • drought tolerance;
  • friendly shoots.

Grain crops are sprayed with a solution up to 2 times per season. The first treatment is carried out during tillering, the second - during heading.

Potassium humate on vegetable crops

The first treatment is pre-sowing. Planting material is soaked in a solution prepared from 1 liter of water and 0.5 grams of the drug. The dose is measured with a medical syringe. Soaking time (hours):

  • seeds - 24;
  • bulbs - 8;
  • tubers - 12 hours

Vegetative vegetables are processed 2 to 6 times. With root top dressing, the concentration is 100 milliliters of the product per 10 liters of water. Consumption per unit area depends on the type of vegetable crop, it is indicated in the instructions for use.

Seedlings respond well to iodine humate - Humate + 7 iodine (how to properly water the seedlings is indicated on the package of the drug). It contains important trace elements and iodine. A concentrated solution is prepared by diluting 10 grams of the product in 10 liters of water.

The resulting liquid (1 liter) is first diluted with 9 liters of water, then vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers) are watered, spending ½ a bucket of fertilizer per 1 square meter. During the season, vegetables are fed 3-4 times, the first time - when the first flowers appear.

Fruit and berry crops and grapes

Fruit trees, berry bushes are fed on the leaf - by spraying, or under the root, combining watering with a fertilizer solution with the application of pesticides.

Humates- These are potassium or sodium salts, they are obtained from humic acid. The earth consists of humate and acids, its concentrate is humus, it is obtained after the decomposition of organic matter. And then humus is affected by irrigation with water, oxygen and microorganisms, and as a result it is converted into humates. The compositions increase the fertility of the earth.

In 1786, Achard Franz received pure humate from peat soil. Currently, humates are extracted from soil, black lingnite, peat soil, sapropel (this is a deposit that appears at the bottom of fresh water reservoirs), from lignosulphates. California and earthworms can also create humate.

Potassium humate: description and composition

With its use, cultures begin to grow and develop more intensively. Humate reduces soil acidity and improves soil impact on crops. Humates accelerate the metabolism in the earth, and the soil itself has a more beneficial effect on the metabolic processes in various cultures.

The preparation contains:

  • many humic acids;
  • peptides;
  • substances that stimulate plant growth;
  • antibiotics;
  • waxes;
  • fats;
  • enzymes;
  • amino acids.

Potassium itself helps photosynthesis, the formation of sugars and the movement of carbohydrates from the surface of plants inward.

Humate treats seeds, cuttings, seedlings, as well as adult bushes. Humate is used in hydroponics by pouring it into water.

To fertilize crops - spray them, water or soak the seeds, take 0.01% potassium humate. To do this, pour 0.1 g of potassium humate into 1 liter of water.

It is simply impossible to measure such an insignificant amount, because of this, a mother solution is first prepared, that is, 1 g of the drug is poured into 1 liter of water, and then 100 ml of the mother solution is poured and another 900 ml of pure water is poured. Then the required solution of 0.01% is formed.

When applying the composition, it should be remembered that it acts as a fertilizer. And it should be alkaline and podzolic. Potassium humate cannot be used simultaneously with top dressings containing phosphorus and calcium nitrate, since this combination forms compounds that do not dissolve in water at all.

Humate does not have the proper effect if the plants are planted in black soil. First, humates are introduced into the soil, and after 3-5 days, the remaining fertilizers.

Types of fertilizer

  • Liquid. Universal fertilizer in liquid form has a dark brown tint. It is created from peat land, extracting nutrients and various trace elements from it. It is added to chilled water. To improve the composition of the soil, 0.1-0.2% of the total volume of liquid potassium humate is diluted. Attention! Humate can remove nitrates and other pesticides from crops, vegetables and fruits. When used, the liquid preparation is combined with nitrogen or organic fertilizers.
  • Dry. The use of powder improves the immune system of crops, plants grow faster, they ripen more intensively. The powder is diluted in water according to the instructions. If the soil is fertilized with potassium humate, then the development of microflora is accelerated in it, and plants planted in such soil give large yields, the fruits ripen earlier. Potassium humate removes heavy metals from the soil. Attention! If you pour 1 kg of powder into the soil, this will replace 1 ton of humus.

Potassium humate "Prompter"

It is created from sapropel. "Prompter" is fertilized twice a month from the beginning of spring to the first month of autumn, then the whole of September, and from October to the end of winter they are applied 1 time in 1.5 months.A solution of "Prompter" is prepared before use.

Benefits of using potassium humate

The drug stimulates the growth of crops. Basically, the composition acts on the roots, they grow more actively.

The benefits of potassium humate:

How to breed potassium humate?

For soaking, pour 1/3 teaspoon of the drug into 1 liter of clean water. Seeds of crops are poured into the solution and left for 12-48 hours, the same is done with plant bulbs. And the cuttings are placed so that they are 2/3 in solution and left for 14 hours.

  • Bushes are sprayed like this: 3 g of potassium humate is poured into a ten-liter bucket of water, and then the plants are sprayed.
  • If you want to water crops:pour in 1 tbsp. a spoonful of the drug in a ten-liter bucket of clean water and water the seedlings, as well as flowering bushes.

Attention! The drug is used after the treatment of plants with pesticides to destroy harmful substances. To do this, 50 g of potassium humate powder is mixed with sand or ash and sprinkled with 10 m² of land.

Instructions for use for various crops

For grain crops

It is recommended to make a solution by pouring 200 g of concentrate into 9 liters of water. And soak the seeds.

Mobitox-Super or Cyclomat is used for grain processing. These are special devices that are used for dressing seeds.

Spraying of wheat, rye, barley, oats is carried out during tillering and flowering. Spraying of millet, sorghum - during tillering and the appearance of simple inflorescences of the brush. Processing of buckwheat is carried out during the formation of buds and after a few weeks. And corn - when the petals are thrown out and when it begins to bloom.

For vegetables and herbs

How to make a solution:

For fruit crops

Fertilizer is applied in early spring before the formation of flower buds, then when the first ovaries appear, and a third time when the fruits ripen.Fertilizer helps fruits store sugar.

How to make a solution:

Fertilize strawberries with the composition 3 times:

  1. treat seedlings first before planting;
  2. then with active leaf growth;
  3. 3 times - in the fall, to prepare for the winter. Pour 10 ml of fertilizer into a ten-liter bucket of water. This amount is enough 5 m² beds. It is advised to use humate together with ammonium nitrate.

For garden flowers

Such plants are fed with potassium humate in the spring. at the beginning of the growing season, and annuals, when all the sprouts appear. Then fertilize every 2-3 weeks, only 3-6 times.

How to make a solution:

For indoor plants

There is no humus in containers with indoor flowers. Therefore, indoor flowers make their growth more active, they form a greater number of buds, the flowers become larger.
