So, to create a palm tree trunk we need bottles brown shades. To do this, we use a knife to cut the bottles crosswise almost in half, but the lower part should remain slightly larger than the upper part, the one with the neck. At the same time, we don’t throw anything away - all the cut off parts will be useful to us.

The top half of the bottle must be cut into 8 equal parts to the point where the narrowing of the bottle begins. And then we give each of these parts the shape of petals, or triangles, which must be opened in the form of a flower, making a fold at the base. The lower parts of the bottles are cut in the same way, however, first you need to make a hole in the middle of each of them the size of the neck. This can be done using a hot knife.

Let's begin by describing the process of obtaining foliage. To do this, we take bottles of green shades. Using a knife, cut off the neck and the very bottom of the bottle, where it curves. Then, starting from the bottom, cut the bottle into 3-4, if possible, equal parts. The number of cuts will depend on the size of the bottles and the palm tree itself. Before reaching the top of the bottle by about 2-3 cm, we stop the cuts.

Then you need to bring the foliage into proper shape. To do this, slightly round the lower parts of the resulting petals, and closer to the neck, on the contrary, narrow them. Then we straighten them along one plane.

To form foliage, each of the petals must be cut on both sides, leaving 1.5 - 2 cm in the middle. The cuts must be made obliquely, in the direction from the rounded sides to the narrowed middle. To add splendor, we unbend each resulting strip of foliage in the sequence: down, skip, up, skip.

Can be used as a rod plastic pipe or an iron pin of small diameter so that all parts of our palm tree can be inserted onto the base. The height of the palm will depend on you and, of course, on the number of bottles used.

Assembling a palm tree goes like this: everything finished parts We collect the trunk with the neck down, from the very large bottles to small ones. When inserting the next part of the barrel, you need to rotate the petals so that they occupy the empty spaces of the previous part, i.e. in a checkerboard pattern. The very first part is attached to the pipe using tape.

To create your own simple option palm trees you will need the following materials:

Wire, the thickness and diameter of which will depend solely on your desire for the future size of the tree;

Pliers;

Sheets of paper with adhesive side;

Any material for wrapping a palm tree, here a simple pipe cleaner is used;

Make several pieces of wire of the desired length, their number should be about 8-10. The length of the wire is the height of your palm, so try to make it optimal for what you want. Attach a square of adhesive paper to one end of the wire, which will be palm leaves. Place future leaves on each wire.

Using scissors, give the squares the desired petal shape, making cuts in each of them that reach the wire.

Palm leaves must be joined together to form a tree. Now you should take a strip of pipe cleaner of any color to make it look more realistic, the most suitable would be a pipe cleaner Brown. Take all the wires with leaves in your hand and connect them using a winding brush. Once you reach the desired height of the palm, you can cut off the excess from the pipe cleaner. Leave one or two centimeters, this will later give the palm tree stability.

Set up the palm tree, giving the leaves the desired shape.

Make a palm tree with your own hands big size To place it in the yard of the house, you can use simple plastic bottles.

To do this, you need to collect green and brown plastic bottles, take a couple of iron rods and prepare a drill, as well as a knife and scissors.

First you need to make a trunk. From each bottle we cut off the bottom with a height of at least 20 cm. The edges should be cut into teeth and bent for clarity. This will allow you to obtain a scaly structure of the palm trunk. Also, in each bottle blank, you should drill a hole equal to the diameter of the iron rod; it will serve as the base.

Now we take the green bottles and cut them in half. Next, we cut the edges of each bottle according to the shape of the leaves. We leave the necks on one half, and drill holes for the twigs at the ends of the others.

The blanks are ready, it's time to start assembling the palm tree!

Attaching palm leaves is not as difficult as it may seem. It is necessary to take an elastic rod, quite rigid, but not thick. We insert the cut green bottles one into the other, neck to neck, and on the last bottle we leave a cork, which we drill and put on a rod; at the end the rod must be bent so that the leaves do not fall off.

  • Plastic bottles of different sizes
  • Wooden stick or reinforcement for the frame
  • Thick rope or wire.

Conditionally palm making can be divided into three steps:

  1. Making palm branches
  2. Making a Tree Trunk
  3. Combining all parts into one tree.

Step 1 . To keep the leaves wide, use two-liter green bottles. To do this, cut off the bottom of the bottle and cut the bottle lengthwise into 7 pieces. Give each leaf a suitable shape and make a fringe. For one leaf you will need about 10-15 bottles. Connect them through the neck using rope or wire. You can make small cuts lengthwise into the bottles, then the leaves will turn out fluffier.

Step 2: To make the tree trunk you will need brown beer bottles. Now you have to cut off the neck and work with the lower half-bottom. Make triangular cuts on each bottle blank, then carefully bend the edges outward. In the center of the bottom you will have to scorch with heated metal rod a hole, the diameter of which depends on the diameter of the base for the frame. The number of bottles depends on the desired height for your tree. Insert them one in one on the frame, and you get a trunk.

Step 3. Now you can begin to fully assemble the tree. If you strung the leaves on a metal cable, you can simply weld them to the trunk. To prevent the palm tree from flying away, make a foundation and dig the stem-trunk deep. Try making a small palm tree first, and then plant some more plastic trees next to it.

  1. Plastic bottles different sizes and flowers
  2. Scissors
  3. Scotch
  4. The basis for the future palm tree. Usually a metal rod is used.
  5. Frame for future palm tree thick wire or metal pipe.

  8. Wire
Making a palm tree trunk:

1) In order to make a palm tree trunk, you need to take 1.5 liter brown bottles 2 and 2.5. First you need to trim the bottle from the neck side by about a third. You will need the upper part, but don’t rush to throw away the lower part - you can also make a barrel out of it by analogy.

2) Cut the bottom of each bottle with a heated knife. We will attach the frame of our palm tree to this cut.

It is necessary to cut the part of the bottle with the neck into 8 equal parts. You need to cut from the wide edge to the narrow.

Now we need to make these parts pointed in shape so that it looks like a petal.

3) Bend the resulting petals onto outside– it will look like a blooming flower.

Palm foliage:

1) So that our banana tree leaves have appeared, you need to take bottles of green (preferably different shades), white and yellow. The more colors you use, the brighter the palm will look.

2) Cut off the edge of the neck and the base of the bottle. We cut the resulting blank from the bottom of the bottle towards the narrow part into 3 approximately equal parts, but not all the way. There should be about 3 cm left to the end of the bottle. We give the edges of each part a shape like a narrowed semicircular petal. We begin to carefully bend these petals outward just as we did the trunk of a palm tree. The result will be something vaguely reminiscent of a three-blade fan. Now we cut each resulting sheet from the edge to the middle. You need to leave a little uncut space in the middle - about 2 cm. It looks like a fringe. The narrower the width of the strips you make, the more magnificent the fringe will turn out, and therefore the foliage of our palm tree.

3) Now the fringe strips need to be bent in different directions. 1- bend it up, 2- leave it as is, 3- down. This is how the sheet becomes voluminous.

4) There are 2 ways to decorate leaves. In the first case, we leave our blanks as is, and in the second, the blanks need to be strung on a flexible wire to create long, voluminous branches. In the second case, you will need more bottles, but the palm tree will also acquire a luxurious crown.

Top of a palm tree.

We take a dark brown bottle and cut it like a blank into leaves - from top to bottom into thin strips. We collect the pieces and wrap them inside.

Cut out blanks for bananas from foam plastic and paint them yellow paint and carefully pass a thin wire through the top.

Collecting a palm tree:

1) Take a palm tree frame prepared in advance. This could be a thick wire or a metal pipe. And we begin to put the finished barrel blanks on the frame with the neck down. First, we put on the larger pieces and begin to assemble the parts like a construction set. We compose until there is approximately 30 cm left to the edge. Try to arrange the petals of each part in a checkerboard pattern. We secure the parts at the base with glue or tape.

2) Depending on what kind of leaves you chose to make, there are 2 methods of attachment: 1-We begin to attach palm branches to the remaining empty upper part of the trunk. This is done in the same way as the trunk was assembled. Don't forget to use details different colors and arrange the leaves in a checkerboard pattern. 2 – attach the cable with the leaves strung on it to the frame of the palm tree at the very top and secure each leaf with tape.

3) Install the crown - glue the workpiece to the edge of the frame with the neck down.

4) We tie artificial bananas to palm branches

To secure our palm tree, we stick it into the ground metal pin about 30 cm deeper for stability (you can fill it with concrete if desired), but so that at least 40 cm sticks out of the ground - to string the trunk and put our palm tree on top.

Now our palm tree made of plastic bottles is ready.
