The owner agreed to provide a quid pro quo - arrange for snow removal at the entrance to the store. The pensioner did not connect any of the tenants, she took up the shovel herself and scattered the snow. - It's easier for me. And charging, and you don’t need to ask anyone.

I myself live in a five-story Stalinist building built in 1956. There is no elevator, there is no place for the concierge. There is a small vestibule and in the second span there is a place where mailboxes hang.
What did we do in our porch? The first is cleaning. Organize it, then you will want to think about fresh design. If the entrance is painted with scary green paint, then you can ennoble everything with a stencil and white paint. You can do this on weekends by connecting children from neighboring apartments. The main thing is to wash them before taking them home.
There are also windows in the entrance - you can buy the simplest cornices and the simplest fabrics treated with a fire-fighting compound - and the windows will create coziness. Don't forget about framed paintings and posters.
If we talk about decorating, then I would suggest laying 50x50 carpet tiles in the corridor. The tiles can either be glued or put on clips. The standard tile size and ease of installation make it easy to lay out any pattern. Depending on the texture and collection, carpet tiles can be laid in one direction or in different directions.
For walls, you can use stencils (paints are applied with a sprayer on the walls of the entrance) or ready-made wall stickers. As an option - glue inserts from photo wallpaper or paint one of the walls in more
bright and saturated color, thereby enlivening the interior.
And, of course, put indoor plants on the stairwell. It is better to arrange a green corner at the entrance on the ground floor or near the elevator. Let's put everything we have into action. For example, after the repair, we have a lot of different paint left, somewhere a whole bucket, and somewhere quite a bit. We collected all this and highlighted the area of the flight of stairs with the brightest color of fuchsia, emphasized the window opening. With the paint that was left the most, we painted the walls - each completely in its own color. We also had a lot of buckets of different diameters left from under the paint - we cut out their bottoms and, in order to revive our design, painted mugs of different diameters randomly scattered on the wall using a spray can of black paint. In fact, we did not spend a dime on the design - all the banks were collected from neighbors. Modern paints are an environmentally friendly finishing material, so you can safely connect not only adults, but also children to the work.

Unfortunately, most citizens are ready to invest only in the repair of their apartment, without thinking about such a public place as an entrance. And a couple of enterprising residents who want to ennoble at least their landing, complain about the lack of funds and unwillingness to do at least something for the benefit of each other.
Is it possible to fight this, and how to ennoble the entrance on your own at minimal cost?
How to decorate your entryway
Decorating the entrance on your own is much easier than it might seem at first glance. For example, some residents actively decorate their landings before the New Year and involve children in this, you can use stencils for drawings on windows, snowflakes, garlands.
Of course, if we are talking about more serious options for arranging, it is impossible to do without the help of adults. Unfortunately, some of the Russian entrances are in such a state that they can be repaired only by serious measures: by painting the walls, insulating the windows.
Convenient entryway equipment
To make life easier, you can use several convenient access devices:
- Hooks designed for heavy bags. You can buy them at any hardware store, and for mere pennies. Such a device is very convenient, because such hooks will allow you to free your hands and allow you to calmly find the keys to the apartment and open the door.
- Newspaper rack or any other wall-mounted metal holder that can be used to store books or newspapers. Such a device will be very convenient for those people who like to combine smoking with reading a book. In addition, the magazine rack is very convenient for exchanging books between neighbors, they can share among themselves the literature that they have already studied before;
- Ashtray. The presence of this device ensures that a cigarette butt not extinguished by one of the neighbors will fly to the floor or into the garbage chute, which can cause a fire. You can also purchase odor absorbers that will avoid conflicts between smokers and non-smokers due to the smell of tobacco;
- A bulletin board that can be hung on any floor, next to an elevator or other place with good traffic. On this board, you can write any notes, for example, with a request to water the flowers, not to smoke, not to make noise.
Purity
The most common problem faced by residents in almost all regions of the country is a lot of garbage and dirt. One way to deal with this is to make joke ads. Often, neighbors agree that it is much more pleasant to live in cleanliness, and they begin to clean in their stairwell one by one.

Cleanliness and order in the entrance can be supplemented with fresh flowers. You can start, for example, from your floor: as practice shows, such an example quite often inspires neighbors. Surely, most of them will agree to support the idea and put new fresh flowers on the windowsills on their floors.
Elements of housing in the entrance
If the landings are more like a part of the housing than a common space, they have a completely different attitude. Of course, hardly anyone wants to litter in a cozy corner that looks more like a house.

First of all, it is worth talking with the neighbors and persuading them to start a joint project to create comfort on the landing. If the management company does not provide a cleaner, you can agree on cleaning in turn, draw up an appropriate schedule.
The next step is to jointly carry out cosmetic repairs in the entrance. You can do it yourself by simply painting the walls with a spray gun or by inviting an artist to depict beautiful landscapes or animals, making the landing unique.
If the house does not have doors with a combination lock, you can raise money and purchase one for your entrance. Such a door will allow you to avoid uninvited guests, which, of course, will not guarantee the preservation of cleanliness in the entrance, but will allow you to keep the room in a new form for much longer.
You can decorate the landing with the help of home-made works, wall newspapers or pictures, which means that children can also be involved in ennoblement. You can put a few unpretentious fresh flowers on the windowsill.
Window
After decorating the walls, you can proceed to the design of the windows: first of all, they need to be thoroughly washed. On the windowsills, you can put napkins made from inexpensive fabric or ordinary oilcloth.

Over the past few years, museum entrances have appeared in several cities of Russia at once, which have already been chosen by local residents, who call such places nothing more than a treasure.

Of course, in new buildings the situation is better, but even there the entrances are boring, unkempt. However, there are many examples of how beautiful and unusual an entrance can look.
The simplest example is flowers. This is Kazan, in the entrance of this high-rise building for many years the apartment owners themselves have been taking out indoor plants to decorate common areas. Yekaterinburg. Exhibition of children's crafts and drawings in the usual entrance. All parents want to brag about the achievements of the child, including to the neighbors. Such exhibitions can be held regularly, for example, showing autumn crafts from chestnuts and leaves. Guests will definitely stop along the way to view all the exhibits.
Tolyatti. Residents of this entrance decorated it on their own, became participants in the competition for the title of the best house in the city and won. A prize of 100,000 rubles was spent on decorating the remaining five entrances of the high-rise building, some of which was left to replace old windows.
Permian. A local artist decorated the entrance with characters from the cartoon "Three from Prostokvashino". He did this at the request of one of the tenants, who decided to please the children and whitewashed the ceiling at his own expense. For all the work, according to the master himself, about eight hours were spent.
In general, painting can be called one of the easiest and most affordable ways to decorate the plain walls of the entrance. This is Chelyabinsk, where the residents of the house themselves took up the local area, which has become a real park, and did not forget about the entrances.
This is Kyiv, Troyeschina. The entrance was called patriotic, because it was decorated with a historical rural landscape traditional for Ukraine. The house territory with a flower bed and a brightly colored urn and a bench also looks neat.
Minsk. The pensioner, at his own expense, without the help of his neighbors, took up the improvement of the entrance, including the front door. The painting in the same style is also inside the house; an artist was hired to create it.
In no city in Russia, probably, there are so many historical entrances left as in St. Petersburg. Not! Not entrances, in the Northern capital they say - front.
