Recently, some clients are interested in connecting corporate mail through Yandex. This is especially true for sites on the WIX platform, where mail must be paid separately. Yandex allows you to do this absolutely free.
So the instruction:
Create an account on Yandex. I don't think there should be any problems here. Next, connect mail to the domain using the link: https://pdd.yandex.ru/domains_add/
We confirm the ownership of the site:
If we were talking about a standard site with full hosting, then I would recommend the first method. Namely, a file with the code specified by Yandex is created in the notepad and saved with the .html extension.
The next step is to upload the file to the server (hosting) in the root of the site. This can be done using an FTP client or file manager, which is available on most reputable hosts. Thus, the rights to manage the resource are confirmed.
For a site made on the WIX platform, the CNAME verification method will be used, since wix.com does not allow access to site files via FTP or a file manager.
So, let's go to the settings:

Of course. A branded email address that matches the name of the company indicates that everything is thorough and businesslike. As a rule, official mail matches the site's domain name, so first you need to create a domain, and only then connect mail to it.
If you do not want to spend money on your own domain, you can register a free mailbox in Gmail or Yandex.Mail. In this case, your email address will look like this: [email protected] or [email protected] .

Now I can connect domain mail from Google Apps?
If you prefer the option with Google Apps, you are here. By connecting your domain to Wix, you can get yourself a new email address. Step-by-step instruction:
Hover over the Business Version tab
Click on the "Mail" tab
Click "Buy mail" next to the desired domain
On the purchase page, click on the drop-down menu and select the desired number of mailboxes
Choose a plan: annual or monthly
Click "Connect"
To create mail on a domain, you can use any service that provides such a service. As an example: https://connect.yandex.ru/pdd . It won't take long, just follow the instructions on the service website.
Go to the Yandex.Mail for Domain service page and connect your domain. Now, you will be taken to the Yandex.Connect service. For mail to work on a domain, you will need to confirm ownership of the domain, place an MX and SPF record in the domain settings.
Confirmation of rights is carried out by specifying special entries in the domain settings. You can get these records after adding the domain in the Yandex.Connect interface, select the "DNS record" domain verification method, and follow the steps necessary to verify the domain using this method.
Note:
If you have already confirmed the rights to the domain in Yandex.Webmaster, then you do not need to additionally confirm them in Yandex.Connect - this will happen automatically.
Important:
The record for each domain is unique, in the screenshot above you see an example of such a record.
Now, you need to place this entry in your domain settings. You can manage your domain settings in your site's control panel in the "Domains" section. Click the gear next to your domain. After that, in the "Edit records" tab, add the necessary to confirm the rights to own the domain. You can read more about this. You will also be required to post the following entries:

- @ TXT v=spf1 redirect=_spf.yandex.net
To create a new mailbox on your domain, add a new employee in the Org Chart section.
You can also provide a DKIM signature for your domain. This procedure is optional, but emails signed with DKIM are less likely to end up in spam. You can get the entry on the mail administration page, go to the "DKIM signatures" tab.
Wait for the DNS changes to take effect. This process can take up to 72 hours.

How to connect a domain to a site created in the constructor Wix :
1. Domain setup
To assign something to a specific site, you must specify DNS servers in its settings, which must correspond to the resource where the website is hosted (that is, hosting is paid for it). In our case, the host is web - Designer Vicks.
Next, we will consider the option of setting up a domain purchased from a Russian registrar webnames. R u . For other similar services, the setup procedure will generally be similar.
Log in to WebNames using your username and password.
Select section => Cabinet and go into it.
Follow the section => My domains/services, select position => Domain Management, then the line => DNS servers.
In the window that opens, in position => Select DNS servers from the list, choose => Ask yourself.
NS1: ns12.wixdns.net
NS2: ns13.wixdns.net
where is wixdns . net indicates that the project is hosted on the hosting provider's server Wix.
After filling NS 1 and NS 2 press the button => Change
This completes the domain setup operation!
If in the future you decide to make a site on the platform of another constructor, you will independently make changes to the corresponding positions ( DNS -server) and reconnect the domain name to your new project.
Please note that the duration of the technical period for assigning new parameters is from 2 to 24 hours, so do not rush to take any further actions.
2. Setting up the site builder Wix
Attention! In order for you to have the right to connect your own domain to the developed site, you need to make a payment for any tariff plan. I recommend paying monthly for the first time. In this case, after a detailed testing of the Wicks web builder, you will have the opportunity to “wind down on it” and switch to another site design service by making a new project and transferring all the content.
I pay special attention! If you purchased a Cyrillic domain (in Russian letters), then you will need to write it in ACE-encoded (Puny C ode), since the international DNS system only allows the use of Latin letters and numbers.
