Business plan

Reviews (171)

A well-executed business plan for a kindergarten will provide a person interested in such a business with a real opportunity to quickly, correctly and legally realize their dream. And the dream of your own mini kindergarten can be very profitable! We all see how much the birth rate has increased in recent years, what queues arise every year when enrolling children in kindergarten, how much effort, time, and money parents need to place their child.

By purchasing a document on organizing a private kindergarten and putting it into practice, you give your fellow citizens a worthy alternative to public institutions for children. And we know that such gardens have never been exceptionally good. That is why, using a well-thought-out project, you will be able to offer a kindergarten of the best quality, in which children will receive maximum attention.

It is worth understanding that a home kindergarten or a private one, located in a separate building, will be profitable if you, having taken a ready-made project, invest in it not only strength and money, but also your soul and desire to help people. In this case, your kindergarten will never be empty, and the children will go there with great pleasure.

The surge in birth rates that has been observed in recent years has led to the fact that our country has a serious shortage of places in preschool educational institutions. In such a situation, the opening of new kindergartens would be most appropriate, but since there are certain difficulties with this, private kindergartens would help solve the problem. And there are people who are ready to open their own private kindergarten, while hoping for financial assistance and government support, and this is a big problem in our country.

Organizing a business such as a private kindergarten begins with overcoming many bureaucratic obstacles. If in America to create a private kindergarten you need to prepare only two certificates, then in Russia the package of documents for opening a group in a kindergarten or organizing a home kindergarten is so voluminous that one gets the impression that local officials are doing everything to complicate the process of creating private kindergartens as much as possible .

In order to open a private home kindergarten, a businessman needs a lot of documents - licensing, reviews, registration. In this regard, the general characteristic of private kindergartens is that most of them are illegal businesses. This means that entrepreneurs work without permits.

As the experience of creating private kindergartens shows, this business is the best suited for young mothers. It is extremely convenient to be involved in raising your child, and at the same time provide care for other people’s children, whose mothers cannot afford to stay at home. There is no need to talk about the particular profitability of this business: the costs are too high, and excessively high payments will only scare away customers.

Legal registration of a business can discourage even the most assertive women, and yet the mandatory license for a kindergarten is difficult to challenge. After all, the organizer of such a business bears, according to the law of the Russian Federation, enormous responsibility for the child in kindergarten. If you are law-abiding citizens, be prepared to go through this difficult path, which is not strewn with rose petals. To obtain a license, you will first have to agree on the premises. Not every building is suitable for renting as a kindergarten. For each child there should be at least 6 square meters. m., special rooms for games and sleeping are required; serious requirements are placed on equipping the kindergarten kitchen.

After receiving permits from the fire inspectorate and sanitary doctors, you should obtain state accreditation and certification, submit to the Licensing Chamber a list of educational and educational programs that you plan to use in your work, and provide a description of the organizational structure of the private kindergarten. It is clear that this option is only acceptable for a large-scale project, and not for creating a kindergarten at home.

In order for the business project of opening a private kindergarten to look more or less attractive from the point of view of investment, the entrepreneur needs to use a professional example of a business plan for opening a kindergarten with ready-made calculations. This document contains a detailed description of the work of the kindergarten, including the organization and activities of the accounting department.

All mothers know that state preschool institutions cannot always provide the normal all-round development of a child, which he so needs at an early age. What kind of development can we talk about if the teacher is torn to pieces every day, trying to look after a group of kids of 25-30 people? A completely different matter is a private kindergarten, the opening of which has become a good alternative to municipal kindergartens.

The peculiarities of a private preschool institution are that the groups are small, which makes it possible to pay individual attention to each child. How to open a private kindergarten, where to start? Such questions are invariably asked by all beginning businessmen. The organization of the work of a private kindergarten should be built taking into account the competent equipment of the premises, which, by the way, must meet the most stringent requirements.

In what premises can a kindergarten be rented? The full answer to this question can be found in SNiP standards, which should be read very carefully, because even the height of the ceilings and window sills, as well as the type of paint used to paint the walls of the building, matters.

The best option for renting a private kindergarten is a building that previously housed a state preschool institution; in this case, it is possible to additionally rent space for a kindergarten with an adjacent territory where children can take daily walks.

Having found a suitable room, it is necessary to make high-quality repairs in it, install a fire alarm and start equipping the kindergarten. There are strict requirements for the arrangement of a mini-kindergarten. For example, the features of furniture for kindergartens are such that it must be made of safe materials, which is confirmed by relevant certificates. The requirements for the equipment of a playroom in a private kindergarten and the design of the locker room are also very high, because the safety of children is the most important thing.

It is clear that you cannot save on equipping a kindergarten under any circumstances. And this is one of the main reasons why the payback period for a kindergarten is very long, and an open kindergarten brings a businessman not so much profit as a headache. An analysis of income and expenses in a kindergarten shows that parental fees barely cover the costs of maintaining a child, after which only small amounts remain.

By using a competent kindergarten business plan when opening a private kindergarten, you will be able to minimize financial risks. You will get acquainted with recommendations for opening a mini-garden. When you decide to open your own business - a nursery, do not neglect this most important financial document, on which your success directly depends.

The relevance of the topic of preschool institutions in our country is still high. And organizing a kindergarten at home, as a business, can correct the situation, if not for the problems associated with this process. Until recently, the existing experience in opening a kindergarten, unfortunately, did not inspire optimism, since entrepreneurs - as a rule, young mothers - could not count on state support. But gradually things moved forward, and opening your own kindergarten at home became a little easier.

In many cities, the authorities have met the initiative of parents who want to organize their own business - a private kindergarten at home, in their apartment. Now you can do this quite legally. Each city has its own package of documents for opening a home kindergarten; as a rule, it includes permits from Rospotrebnadzor and Gospozhnadzor, the results of checking the premises for compliance with housing standards (one child must have at least 2.5 sq. m.). In addition, in some cities it is required to fill out forms to obtain permission from neighbors to open a home garden - after all, the noise in such an apartment will increase significantly.

Organizing a private kindergarten at home from scratch seems to be a difficult undertaking, but the advantages, if permission for this activity is obtained, are very obvious. Opening a home family mini-kindergarten is profitable - hundreds of mothers who have not been afraid of the difficulties of creating a business have already been convinced of this.

There are two options for events: you are allowed to organize a family group at home, which will relate to a kindergarten located nearby. Those who do not have special education and experience as a teacher are sent to free courses. Mom officially gains teaching experience in private kindergartens, since she is hired as a teacher in a state kindergarten. You do not need to rent premises for a kindergarten, since you use your apartment for these purposes. In addition, such a private kindergarten is provided with furniture, dishes, and toys at the expense of the state. A mother who looks after not only her baby, but also a group of other children, receives the official salary of a teacher. Parents pay for home kindergarten in the usual manner - to the account of the municipal preschool institution.

If you want to create a real business - your own kindergarten, from which you will make a profit, then you can open a kindergarten with short-term stays for children at home in an apartment. At the same time, you should not position your business as the organization of a kindergarten, otherwise legalizing it will be problematic. It is much easier to define your activity as development, for which you do not need licenses and permits from sanitary doctors and fire inspectors. Payment for such a home kindergarten will go to you, but you need to be prepared for the fact that the business will take a very long time to pay off, and problems may arise with regulatory authorities.

To prevent opening a private kindergarten in a residential building from becoming a serious problem for you, carefully study a professional sample business plan for a kindergarten at home, which describes in detail how the business should develop, what role legalization plays in this, and how to reduce the payback period with minimal losses.

Approximate data:

  • Monthly income – 156,000 rubles.
  • Net profit – 30,600 rubles.
  • Initial costs – 315,800 rubles.
  • Payback – from 8 months.
This business plan, like all others in the section, contains calculations of average prices, which may differ in your case. Therefore, we recommend that you make calculations for your business individually.

In this article we will draw up a detailed business plan for a small private kindergarten with calculations.

Description of service

The private kindergarten provides services for parents to look after their young children (from 3 to 7 years old). The organization is small and is designed to serve 10-12 children at a time. The list of services provided includes keeping children in kindergarten, meals, walks, and classes. Overtime stay of a child in kindergarten is not provided. The organization itself will be located on the ground floor of a residential building; the apartment will be converted into non-commercial real estate in advance. In this business plan we will consider the option of renting real estate. But if you have your own apartment on the 1st floor, then your expenses will be significantly reduced and your profits will increase.

Market analysis

Today the problem of placing a child in kindergarten is very acute. There are not enough government institutions like this. Parents wait a very long time for their turn, sometimes it takes several years. In such a situation, many try to find an alternative solution to the problem. Private kindergartens are becoming increasingly popular.

As a rule, the urgent need for childcare is felt by parents of children who can already talk and walk. Age category – from 3 to 7 years. Older age is not relevant at all, since children are already going to school. Very young children require careful care and supervision. Mothers usually sit with them, and for this they are granted maternity leave and child care leave. The greatest demand is observed in the middle age category. It is these children that the entrepreneur will recruit to the kindergarten.

This type of business is especially relevant for women with pedagogical education. They will be able to simultaneously be a business owner, a teacher, a cook, and a cleaner, if necessary. Therefore, such an enterprise has a certain feminine “accent”.

The limited number of municipal kindergartens causes a large difference between the large (constant!) demand for kindergarten services and supply in this market sector. There will always be clients in this type of business. Moreover, they are likely to become regular customers. This will reduce advertising costs.

In general, it is better to open such a private kindergarten in an area of the city where wealthy families live. They, as a rule, resort to the services of such organizations, having greater confidence in them. Thus, portrait of a potential buyer will look like this: these are families with a child aged 3-7 years, their income is set at an average level and above average (you should focus on the last category).

The main competitors will be other private kindergartens located nearby and municipal institutions of this type. The main weapon in the fight will be the professionalism of the staff, the provision of quality services, as well as unusual offers (for example, conducting martial arts or dance classes by a professional trainer). It makes no sense to make the cost lower than the market average - in this case, the costs simply will not be recouped and the organization will not generate any income.

SWOT analysis

Before opening a private kindergarten, you need to familiarize yourself with the existing threats and opportunities. The former can hinder the successful development of the enterprise, while the latter, on the contrary, accelerate it and provide additional income.

Factors influencing an enterprise are usually divided into external and internal. A private entrepreneur cannot change the first. However, he can minimize the influence of negative factors and use opportunities for his own benefit. External factors include:

  1. Possibilities:
  • The level of competition is not great, since opening a kindergarten today is quite difficult; this type of business requires considerable initial costs.
  • Providing a wide range of services.
  • Possibility of attracting investment in this sector of the economy.
  • Low level of advertising costs.
  • Changes in legislative acts.
  • Low fines for individual entrepreneurs (about 1-3 thousand rubles).
  1. Threats:
  • High level of bureaucratization in this area.
  • Decline in the level of income of the population due to the crisis.
  • Presence of financial barriers to entry into the market.
  • The need to prepare documents for transferring from the category of private kindergartens to non-state educational institutions.
  • Strict requirements from the SES and Fire Inspectorate.

The owner can try to eliminate internal factors if they are negative. And those that have a positive impact on business can not only be used for good, but also their influence can be strengthened. Internal factors include:

  1. Strengths:
  • Possibilities for further expansion.
  • Selecting a territory where the level of competition is minimal.
  • Convenient location for service users (in this case, the kindergarten will be located in an area where wealthy families live).
  • A large number of specialists in this field (many will agree to work for your organization, since municipal kindergartens offer very low salaries).
  • There may be an increase in the cost of services provided.
  • The entrepreneur has experience in this field.
  • Availability of various advanced training courses.
  1. Weak sides:
  • High level of fixed costs.
  • Lack of any client base, the need to find clients.
  • High responsibility, serious consequences are possible (in case of injury to a child, for example).
  • Inability to meet increased demand (the presence of a small number of children's places will not allow).
  • Need for serious repairs.
  • High level of costs for necessary equipment and furniture.
  • Decrease in the quality of services due to lack of motivation among staff.

It is important to understand that certain factors may not be present at a particular enterprise. Here it is important to conduct research on the local market and working conditions.

Opportunity Assessment

The private kindergarten will operate 5 days a week. Working day from 7:30 to 18:00. To avoid problems, we hire a teacher at one and a half times the rate.

A drawing and music teacher will come to the kindergarten separately. Only 2 times a week. They can be arranged as part-time workers or carried out as outsourcing. In our case, we chose the second option to eliminate the cost of paying insurance premiums.

One teacher will work with children. His responsibilities include looking after children, doing exercises, taking a daily walk (1-2 times a day), conducting developmental activities (counting, ABC, etc.).

You can hire one of the housewives living in the same building as a cook and cleaner. She will come 3 times a day.

The kindergarten will be located in a 3-room apartment.

Please note that there must be facilities for sleeping, playing and eating. In our case, the kitchen will be a place for ready

ki, 1 room - dining room, 2 room - playroom, 3 room for sleeping. The playroom will also have an activity area.

It is worth choosing an apartment with a separate entrance on the ground floor.

At the time of admission to kindergarten, parents must pay an entrance fee. From one child – 7 thousand rubles. This amount may vary depending on the region. On average from 5000 rub. up to 15,000 rub. We will count this money separately and use it to pay off initial costs. The total amount will be 84,000 rubles.

Organizational and legal aspects

I would like to immediately draw your attention to the fact that there is no home kindergarten as a legal form of business. Remember that if the name contains the words “school” or “kindergarten”, then it will no longer be possible to register as an individual entrepreneur; the owner will have to register as a legal entity. In this case, you will also have to obtain the appropriate license to organize activities from the Department of Education.

  1. . We pay a state fee of 800 rubles. If it is needed, . The OKVED code can be: 85.32 “Provision of social services without providing accommodation”, 80.10.1 “Preschool and primary general education services”, 0.10.3 “Additional education for children”.
  2. You can use UTII or. In the second case, two options are possible - simplified tax system “Income” 6% or simplified tax system “income minus expenses” 6-15% (the rate is determined depending on the region).
  3. Please note that an individual entrepreneur with the appropriate name of the organization does not need to obtain a license.
  4. It is also necessary to register with the Pension Fund and the Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund.
  5. Child care activities are not subject to licensing. It is only important to choose the right name.
  6. According to Article 48 " Law on Education", individual teaching activities are not subject to licensing.
  7. It is important to prepare a contract for the provision of services. For help in drafting, it is better to contact a lawyer.
  8. Don't forget to comply with sanitary standards and fire safety rules!

Marketing plan

Price policy:

The cost will be the same for all clients. It will be set at a level slightly above the market average. This is due to the fact that the main clients will be wealthy people, for whom cost often becomes an indicator of the class of the service provided.

Marketing strategy:

Since the kindergarten will target families living in nearby houses, it will save quite a lot on advertising. Some promotion methods in this case include:

  • A sign. It should be big, bright, interesting and memorable. It is important to choose a catchy name.
  • Posting advertisements. It is better to do them on high-quality paper, having first written a selling text.
  • Consulting potential clients, holding “parents’ day”. On such an evening, you can introduce parents to the available programs and conditions.
  • Installation of signs. This will add seriousness to the organization.

But it’s better to exclude apartment crawls. This may put off wealthy clients. In this case, advertisements in newspapers and on television will be ineffective. The number of clients is small, and the costs of such advertising are very serious. In addition, the above methods will help you find potential clients faster.

Calculation of projected income

Average monthly revenue will be 156,000 rubles.

I would also like to say that 13,000 rubles is not the limit. In some kindergartens this figure reaches 17,000 rubles and even higher (If you don’t take Moscow into account, because prices there are 2-3 times higher). We also do not charge additional fees for trips with children to theaters, children's pools, museums and other leisure places.

Production plan

Most likely, the business owner, rather than the landlord, will have to renovate and equip the premises. This will be a minor renovation, the main thing is that the premises comply with all sanitary standards and fire safety measures.

You will have to buy furniture, namely beds (we chose bunk beds to increase the space), armchairs, tables, chairs, kitchen units, cabinets and more. You should not buy very expensive furniture. It is better to choose medium-priced but reliable things.

Equipment you will need is a refrigerator, stove, oven, TV, stereo system. You can also purchase a microwave oven. You don't have to buy a laptop.

It is worth taking care of your leisure time. Let the kindergarten have soft toys, board games, drawing supplies, copybooks, and notebooks. You also need sports corners with mats, ladders, horizontal bars, etc.

In the beginning, you will have to spend a lot of money searching for clients. But you won’t have to deal with it afterwards.

Payments to the teacher and cook will be fixed. The teacher receives 30,000 rubles, the cook – 25,000 rubles. This includes taxes and insurance premiums.

It is possible to arrange additional stay for the child in the kindergarten. For example, for a fee. After all, not all parents work until 6 o'clock. The main part of the income can be given to the teacher in order to stimulate him and provide additional income.

Organizational plan

Initial costs will be 315,800 rubles.

Financial plan

  • Profit before tax will be: 156,000 – 120,000 = 36,000 rubles.
  • Tax: (we count 15% of the difference between income and expenses) = 5,400 rubles.
  • Net profit: 36,000 – 5,4000 = 30,600 rubles.
  • Profitability: 30,600/156,000 = 19.61%.
  • Payback: (315,800 – 84,000)/30,600=7.6. Therefore, the project will pay off in 8 months.

If the individual entrepreneur himself works as a teacher or the apartment is not rented but owned, then the income will be slightly higher (almost 2 times). Therefore, at the initial stage it is advisable to consider this method. Also, do not forget that in 2-3 years there will be a new set of children and contributions will also replenish the business budget.

Risks

When opening a private kindergarten, you must not forget about possible risks. In this area, the main difficulties that an entrepreneur may encounter are the following:

  1. High bureaucratization in this industry

It is impossible to fight this factor. All requirements are stipulated by regulations and laws.

The consequences of this risk can be small (fines for non-compliance with certain requirements) and catastrophic (up to the closure of the enterprise).

Risk can be avoided. You just need to study the existing laws in detail and meet the existing requirements.

  1. Frequent checks of the organization

To a greater extent, they will relate to fire safety and the sanitary condition of existing premises. This risk can be considered part of the first.

The possible consequences for individual entrepreneurs are not that significant. are set low and usually do not exceed several thousand.

And yet, it is important that the room meets all the requirements. This will also increase customer confidence.

  1. Low level of professionalism of workers

This risk is typical for almost any enterprise. Possible losses: decreased profits, customer departure. As a result, the enterprise may become unprofitable. The saddest outcome is the ruin of the entrepreneur and the closure of the organization.

There are two ways to avoid this risk:

  • carefully select personnel, set high demands (but remember that this also leads to high wages);
  • recruit workers with low or medium qualifications and provide training.

At the same time, it is important to constantly develop your employees, sending them to training courses, for example. The teacher (educator) must be aware of the latest effective techniques used when working in kindergartens.

  1. The need for constant use of available funds

Indeed, it is necessary to spend money on wages, food, and various activities. All these costs add up to a fairly large amount. If the entrepreneur does not have these funds, he will not be able to continue working in this area.

There are several ways to protect yourself:

  • create a reserve fund;
  • expand the business, increasing income due to economies of scale;
  • have your own funds that can be invested in the business.

In extreme cases, you will have to contact the bank for loans, which will negatively affect your income. Part of the funds will need to be spent on repaying the loan and paying interest. Therefore, this method is the least attractive of all mentioned.

Important: Remember that you can independently create a business plan specifically for your business. To do this, read the articles:

One last request: We are all human and can make mistakes, leave something out, etc. Do not judge strictly if this business plan or others in the section seem incomplete to you. If you have experience in this or that activity or you see a flaw and can add to the article, please let me know in the comments! This is the only way we can jointly make business plans more complete, detailed and up-to-date. Thank you for your attention!

There are many reasons why more and more modern parents choose a private kindergarten for their child. This includes the desire to receive an individual approach to the child, and the presence in such kindergartens of more serious and varied early development programs, a balanced children's menu, and more comfortable conditions than in a municipal kindergarten. For this reason, the need to open private kindergartens is increasing, which is an excellent source of income. In this review, we will together draw up a business plan for a private kindergarten “from A to Z” (calculations for 2018).

Business plan for opening a private kindergarten.

The most popular groups remain for children from 1.5 to 3 years old, since in our country many mothers on maternity leave are forced to go to work without waiting for their child to turn 3 years old and be given a coveted place in a municipal kindergarten. How to open such a kindergarten and what pitfalls to expect along the way will be discussed in this article.

Be sure to check it out video, in which real owners of private kindergartens talk about the structure of the business from the inside:

Start-up costs and payback

The article presents a business plan for a private kindergarten for children under 5 years of age.

Characteristics:

  1. Capacity - up to 16 children (2 groups of 8 children)
  2. The cost of maintaining a child for 1 month is 25,000 rubles
  3. Services provided: Preparation for school (for children aged 5 years), modeling, dancing, drawing, classes for the development of speech and hearing, logical development.

As a result, annual revenue amount will be: 4,800,000 rubles

Net profit amount equal to 21,300 rubles.

Profitability: 21,300/400 000 * 100=5,3%

Payback period, divide the initial costs by the amount of net profit: 670 700 /21 300 = 31.5 months.

And now we will analyze in more detail each stage of the formation of a private kindergarten and analyze all the items of expenses and income.

Basic costs

When preparing a business plan, it is necessary to take into account what the costs of opening a kindergarten are:

  1. rental and renovation of premises;
  2. legal registration of business and obtaining a license;
  3. hiring qualified personnel;
  4. purchase of furniture, toys, equipment, office equipment;
  5. advertising to attract customers.

Of course, the amount of costs can vary greatly depending on the city, the local cost of rent, the status of the garden, etc. An entrepreneur needs to familiarize himself with the cost of rent, repairs and other expenses directly in his city. Obviously, the costs in a business plan can be radically different when starting a private kindergarten in Moscow and in a provincial town.

In your business plan, focus on start-up capital; initially, it is enough to open a small-format kindergarten for 10-20 children. This way, it will be easier to understand and organize internal processes in the business. In addition, save yourself from unnecessary risks and spend less money. Mistakes when starting a new business are inevitable, so keep them on a smaller scale. You will always have time to expand.

Legal issues

To operate a private kindergarten, you must register with the tax authorities. Typically, business uses 2 options:

  1. in the form of a legal entity (LLC, etc.);
  2. as an individual entrepreneur (IP).

If the option of a legal entity is chosen, then it must be a non-profit organization (i.e., you cannot register in the form of LLC, CJSC, JSC, etc.). Registration is carried out at the Ministry of Justice of Russia. If you are not familiar with the nuances of legal individuals, we recommend contacting the relevant companies for advice, as a rule, it is free. It is worth noting that LLC is a more expensive form for business, higher deductions, more complex tax accounting, reporting, etc.

Registering as an individual entrepreneur today is easier than ever. It is enough to submit an application to the tax office and pay the state fee. Registration period is up to 5 days. Keep in mind in your business plan that legal delays can cost up to 10,000 rubles. If you work with hired lawyers, then this costs another 5-10,000 monthly, depending on the number of employees.

After registration, you must register with the Pension Fund, Social Insurance Fund, and statistical authorities. You will also need a current account for work; after opening it, do not forget to inform your tax office about this in order to avoid a fine.

If a private kindergarten expects hired employees (teachers, security, cooks, cleaners), then by law they must be officially registered. This is a rather complicated procedure; we recommend that all accounting be serviced by a law firm or a private lawyer from your city.

Licensing

As already noted, this is a licensed type of activity, so you will have to obtain a license. However, for those who do not wish to obtain a license, they can choose a childcare activity or register as a development center. But there is a rather fine line here; the inspection authorities may have questions, parents will not be able to receive compensation for part of the parental fees and there will be no opportunity to receive additional funding from the state budget.

Licensing is handled by the regional ministry (department) of education; the application review period is 30 days. In addition to the constituent documents, you will need to provide:

  1. documents confirming the availability of premises;
  2. certificate of logistics;
  3. educational programs;
  4. conclusion of the SES and State Fire Inspectorate

You can learn more about the licensing procedure from lawyers, or you can study the issue on your own on the Internet: all documentation and answers to questions are available on official websites.

Selecting a room

To open a kindergarten, you need to select the appropriate premises. Naturally, it can be rented, and this amount will form the basis of the monthly expenses in the business plan. This issue should be approached with great responsibility, since educational activities are licensed, which means that a license may be denied if the premises do not meet the necessary requirements and standards.

So, when choosing a suitable building, first of all, you must be guided by SanPin, approved by the Decree of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation dated May 15, 2018 No. 26 “On approval of SanPin 2.4.1.3049-13 “Sanitary and epidemiological requirements for the design, content and organization of the regime work of preschool educational organizations."

Group area requirements:

  1. 2.5 m² (per person) in groups for children under 3 years old;
  2. 2.0 m² - for children from 3 to 7 years old.

Don’t forget to add the area of the kitchen and administrative premises.

It is recommended to fence the area around the building with a fence; planting trees and shrubs would be a good solution. Playgrounds must be provided. In this regard, it is most convenient to rent cottages; as a rule, their layout is very convenient, and the fenced area allows you to organize children's playgrounds.

A rented country cottage serves as premises for a private kindergarten. The rent is 80,000 rubles (including utilities).

Layout:

Furniture, toys, equipment

After you decide on the premises and the number of groups in the kindergarten, you should purchase furniture, toys and other equipment.

When purchasing furniture, do not forget to ask the seller for documents confirming its safety and origin. Furniture will require tables, chairs, cribs, lockers for the locker room and shelving for toys, furniture for staff, and plumbing fixtures (including those adapted for children).

When choosing toys, remember that they should be easy to wash.

Pay attention to the equipment of typical private kindergartens; it is very appropriate (what is it, the simplest and most obvious way) to visit such kindergartens yourself and make a list of necessary purchases. After this, you need to find out the cost, go to shopping centers, compare prices on the Internet, and write down the total amount in the project’s business plan.

Kindergarten staff

Your team is an extremely important component of a successful business, especially when it comes to children. The selection of personnel must be treated with great attention and pedantry. Pay attention to all the little things, do not hesitate to ask candidates any questions regarding their professional activities and personal qualities.

Kindergarten must have:

  1. educators;
  2. teacher assistants;
  3. cook;
  4. cleaning woman;
  5. administrator (manager).

It is necessary to ensure that there is a medical worker in the kindergarten (or ensure his immediate arrival in case of an emergency, as well as regular examinations of children).

To attract additional clients, you may want to hire a psychologist or teachers in certain subjects (drawing, foreign languages, physical education, music, singing, dancing, etc.).

All kinds of master classes are in great demand in private kindergartens. Pay attention to finding the appropriate specialists, negotiate a reasonable price on an ongoing basis.

Staff Salary per 1 employee (RUB) The number of employees Salary Total (RUB)
Cook 15 000 1 15 000
Educator 20 000 2 20 000
Assistant teacher 15 000 1 15 000
Medical worker 20 000 1 20 000
Cleaning woman 12 000 1 12 000
Expenses forpayment of wages 6 82 000

Attracting clients: advertising and promotion

After the kindergarten is ready to receive its first guests, it is necessary to take a close look at the issue of attracting customers. It’s very good if you develop a logo for your kindergarten and release promotional products in your corporate style.

In attracting customers, all communication channels should be used to the maximum: social networks, television, radio, print media, outdoor advertising. In a business plan, it is reasonable to allocate a monthly budget for advertising, at least for the first time - 20-50,000 rubles.

At a certain point in time, word of mouth will begin to work. Leave advertising brochures in children's development centers, clinics, shopping centers and other places where parents and children often visit.

At first, hold open days on weekends, this will attract additional clients. Focus on the additional opportunities of a private kindergarten, show the advantages over the municipal one, and show your individuality.

Project financial plan

As an example, let's take an average Russian city - a regional center. Calculation for a garden of 5 groups, 12 people per group.

Starting investment for opening a private garden:

  1. Renting premises - 80,000 rub.;
  2. Installation of fire and security alarms - 160,000 rub.;
  3. Purchase of furniture, inventory and equipment, toys - RUB 304,650+126,000;
  4. Advertising - 50,000 rub.

Total: 670,700 rubles.

Monthly expenses in a business plan include:

  1. rent for premises + utilities - 80,000 rub.;
  2. staff salaries - 82,000 rub.;
  3. tax and social contributions - 12,300 rub.;
  4. food products for children's kitchen - RUB 134,400;
  5. advertising and promotion - 5,000 rub.;
  6. purchase of stationery, equipment, detergents, teaching aids, etc. - 5,000 rub.

Total: 318,700 rubles.

The amount of expenses depends on the size of the private kindergarten. Naturally, the larger the premises, the higher the rent and the cost of utilities. If there are many children in the kindergarten, then more workers will be needed, which means higher wage costs and tax deductions.

Income forecast for business plan (per month):

  1. Cost of visiting the kindergarten for one child - 25,000 rub.;
  2. Total income at full load - 400,000 rub.;
  3. With a simplified taxation system and a tax rate of 15% (income - expenses), income tax - 60,000 rub.;

Net profit (minus taxes and monthly expenses) is 21,300 rubles.

You can increase profits by introducing additional paid services for parents - paid developmental classes, massage and other wellness treatments for children, driver services (children are picked up from home and brought back from kindergarten), weekend groups.

Of course, each business plan is unique; it is impossible to objectively take into account all the nuances in one example; serious deviations are possible.

Sources of financing

As you can see, organizing a kindergarten requires a considerable amount of funds, but it is worth keeping in mind that there are several ways to reduce the financial burden.

Opening a private kindergarten - educational activity - is social entrepreneurship, and close attention is paid to this today. There are special programs and grants for entrepreneurs engaged in social activities. You can find out about them at the regional ministry (department) of economic development. In some regions, such grants reach several million rubles, and to receive them you just need a competent business plan with calculations.

You can also apply for a subsidy to create your own business and receive up to 900,000 rubles. In almost all regions of the Russian Federation, regional and municipal authorities hold these competitions and allocate subsidies.

In addition, in each subject of Russia there are state microfinance funds (centers) (here you need to carefully read the constituent documents; the founder must be a government body, for example, the Ministry of Economic Development of the subject). Such microfinance funds issue microloans up to 3,000,000 at only 10% per annum, unlike commercial banks, which today do not even offer less than 20 percent.

All parents understand that their child’s education needs to be addressed from a very early age. Therefore, the answer to the question of whether to send the child to kindergarten or limit himself to home education is more than 90% in favor of the first. And the next question is which garden to choose, private or public.

Recently, due to an increase in the birth rate, there has been a catastrophic shortage of places in state kindergartens. And the middle class that has formed in Moscow over the past 10-15 years is increasingly giving preference to private kindergartens. By choosing them, parents expect that the quality of child care, conditions, nutrition and education will be much higher than in public kindergartens. Therefore, private preschool institutions have recently become increasingly popular in our country. But to open them, you will first need a business plan for a kindergarten.

For an enterprising and talented organizer, this segment of the market for providing educational services can turn out to be quite a profitable business. You should not count on extremely large profits, because high-quality child care requires considerable expenses. There is little competition in this market. Demand exceeds supply.

The majority of the market for private educational services consists of semi-legal mini-kindergartens, which are organized directly in apartments and houses. In such an institution, sanitary standards are often violated, and the qualifications of the staff are in doubt. The example of such a home kindergarten is far from the only one in our country. There are very few legal home kindergartens that have all the necessary permits and comply with sanitation and hygiene standards.

Private kindergartens can be divided into several types:

  • working from morning until evening;
  • working around the clock;
  • providing short-term stays.

All of them provide a full range of services for upbringing, education, comprehensive development, maintenance, care and nutrition for children.

If you follow the law, educational activities on the territory of the Russian Federation can be carried out by an individual registered as an Individual Entrepreneur (IP) and a legal entity. A legal entity must be registered in a non-profit organizational and legal form. Registration is carried out by the Federal Registration Service of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation. The period for consideration of the submitted application is 1 month. Next, it will be necessary to agree on the specifics of the activity with various authorities, register with the tax authorities, extra-budgetary funds (such as the compulsory health insurance fund, pension and social funds), and state statistics bodies. To conduct educational activities, you must obtain a license from the Department of Education.

To obtain a license, you must collect the following set of documents:

  • premises rental agreement;
  • data on teachers and the number of children who will attend kindergarten;
  • documents that confirm the availability of methodological and educational materials;
  • education program;
  • articles of association;
  • a certificate from the tax authority confirming that the organization is registered;
  • extracts from the fire and sanitary services, in which it will be written that the premises of the kindergarten meet all the standards for preschool institutions.

Getting a license is not easy. But if you do not, this may result in criminal liability. If you position the kindergarten not as a private kindergarten, but as a development or training center for children, then lengthy red tape with a license can be avoided. For this type of organization it is simply not required. But if an unscheduled inspection comes, problems cannot be avoided.

After receiving all the necessary documents, you need to check the written business plan for a private kindergarten again.

Search and arrangement of premises

Finding the right one for a space is not an easy task. SNiP imposes certain requirements on preschool institutions. Example:

  • Each child should have at least 6 sq. m area;
  • the presence of at least three rooms: a dining room, a play area and a bedroom;
  • the height of the ceiling and window sills must comply with the standards;
  • walls must be covered with moisture-resistant paint.

Before opening a home kindergarten, the owner should thoroughly study the requirements of SNiP.

Theoretically, it is possible to open a home kindergarten in an apartment. Most of the private kindergartens in Moscow are located in apartments. But it is better to give preference to a separate building. The ideal option is to rent the building of a state kindergarten, because during the construction of such buildings all the requirements that apply to the buildings of preschool institutions were taken into account. It will not be possible to buy such a building. City municipal authorities usually rent them out for several years.

In the rented premises, it will be necessary to make repairs, carry out all the necessary communications, install an alarm system, etc. In the toilet rooms, all plumbing must be suitable for children. To design a home kindergarten, it would be best to invite a professional artist. For the normal development of children, you will need to purchase children's furniture, toys, dishes, etc.

Recruitment

A home kindergarten must have on its staff:

  • educators;
  • nannies or teaching assistants;
  • medical worker;
  • manager;
  • cleaning woman;
  • cook;
  • security guard.

The higher the level of a private kindergarten, the more opportunities it has to expand its workforce. Such kindergartens can afford to hire a child psychologist, sports coach, additional education teachers, etc. Many of these kindergartens focus on proprietary methods of educational activities. The staff who will work in a home kindergarten must have a valid medical record, pedagogical education, experience working with children and, most importantly, love children.

Organization of meals for children in a home kindergarten

To organize catering you will need a separate room and the necessary equipment for preparing food. Nutrition should be varied, thoughtful, balanced and meet all required standards.
