  • handles are cut using a branding press, the edges are sealed.

In this business, you can use only two types of raw materials for production: low density polyethylene (HDPE) and high density polyethylene (LDPE)... Prices vary between 420-750 dollars (per ton). If you plan to produce colored film, you will need a dye. In the manufacture of garbage bags, the use of recycled granulate is allowed, which is sold at a lower cost.

  1. Polymer granules (raw materials) are loaded into a special hopper of the extruder and taken by the feed screw. The temperature inside ranges from 180 to 240 degrees. As it progresses, the granules soften and melt into a homogeneous mass. During extrusion, a film is formed in the form of a tube or, as it is commonly called, sleeves. On one extruder, you can make films of different widths and thicknesses, only by changing the settings.
  2. The polyethylene sleeve gradually cools down and rolls out.
  3. It is cut with a special automatic knife so that two identical canvases of the required width are formed.
  4. The rewinder winds the finished film into rolls. When the width of the latter reaches the set size, the operator removes the roll. The winding process is repeated anew.
  5. The next stage is drawing a picture. The paint of the desired color is diluted with alcohol. It is constantly mixed so that the viscosity is not lost.
  6. Through the dispenser, the dye flows to the ink rollers, which print the pattern. After painting, the film is rewound into rolls.
  7. Next, the bag making machine cuts the finished roll as needed. The template of the future product is formed and the bottom fold is highlighted.
  8. The branding press makes holes for the handles (or cuts out a "shirt").
  9. The welding surface seals the edge by heating up to 180 degrees. Finished products are formed in packs of 100 (1000) pieces.
  10. At the final stage, a quality control is carried out, which involves checking the fasteners of the fastener and the seam adhesions.

The production of construction waste bags is carried out in the same way. The difference is that there is no need to cut holes for the handles.
