Game description

Make the adventures of your favorite character brighter and more interesting. The online game “Superhero Coloring Pages” will help you not only have fun, but also show your imagination. Choose any colors and shades from the interactive palette on the screen and create dozens of unusual superhero costume options.

The black and white coloring template features a popular character from Marvel comics and movies. This is the rich man and inventor Tony Stark in his Iron Man battle suit. The picture is divided into small parts, so each part of the armor needs to be painted separately.

How to play?

You need to color the superhero using a computer mouse. To the right of the template is a color palette. Select a shade by left-clicking on it, after which the color will appear in a rectangle above the palette. Click with the cursor on all the elements of the costume that need to be painted with this color.

To change the color, return to the palette and select a different shade with the mouse. You can color not only the character, but also the background of the picture. If the shade is chosen incorrectly, any part can be repainted.

There is no limit on play time and the colors can easily be changed with one click, so you can complete the coloring task in the most creative way possible. Recreate the classic Iron Man suit from your favorite movie or, on the contrary, paint Tony Stark's flying armor in all the colors of the rainbow!

Game description

What happens if you mix the superpowers of two or more comic book characters? The funny flash game “Create Your Own Superhero” invites you to create such a character using a constructor. Mix body parts and costume elements and see the result.

The designer's catalog contains details of the most popular characters from comics and adventure films: Batman, Wolverine, Cyclops, Captain America, Flash, Green Lantern, Superman, Iron Man, Magneto. Click on the interactive images of parts to change your hero.

About the game

The future character with superpowers is in the center of the screen. To the right and left of it are identical labels depicting the hero’s elements. With their help you need to flip the details forward or backward. Parts for the step-by-step designer:

  • head;
  • hands;
  • body;
  • cloak;
  • legs;

You can take advantage of additional designer functions. At the bottom of the screen there is a square “Mix” button in the form of two crossed arrows. It is designed to simultaneously mix the details of a superhero image in random order. The result of such a “mix” may surprise you and make you laugh. When character creation is completed, click the “OK” button (check mark) and do not forget to come up with an unusual name for the new hero.

Have you ever wanted to create your own Spider-Man, Superman or Batman? Creating a superhero is a fun activity, you can come up with your own story and character and write about it. Even if you don't have many ideas yet, you can put them together and turn them into something brilliant.

Steps

Part 1

Choose character traits for the hero

    Think about what powers your superhero will have. Usually, all superheroes have their own superpowers, so you first need to come up with superpowers, and then character traits that would correspond to them. Keep in mind that most of the interesting superpowers already belong to different heroes and characters, so try to come up with something unique.

    • You can give your superhero several abilities, for example, the ability to fly and some other power. By combining several superpowers in your hero, you will make him different from many other existing characters.
    • Some superheroes don't have any special powers, they just rely on super gadgets and have excellent physical fitness (for example, Batman and Black Widow). Others are proficient in martial arts and weapons, and their dedication is respectable, but this makes them more vulnerable to other fighting styles and to heroes with other superpowers. Perhaps this makes the hero seem more interesting to us.
  1. Give your superhero some kind of flaw or weak point. This important “fatal” flaw or weakness is an integral feature of almost all superheroes.

    Make your hero a human being as well. Let him live a double life: he can be a normal person, or he can be a hero. Then you can give the same hero different character traits, each of which will manifest itself in him either as a person or as a hero.

    Don't try to copy another character. It’s unlikely that you’ll be able to come up with superpowers that haven’t been used anywhere else, but you shouldn’t just copy them from one specific character.

    • For example, if you want to give your character the superpowers of Superman, write a different storyline for him. This way, your superhero will be different from Superman at least in history.
  2. Try to find some other qualities that will distinguish him from other superheroes. If you're looking to create your own superhero, chances are you're pretty familiar with the qualities and powers of other popular superheroes. So don't try to create another copy of an existing superhero, be original. Come up with a unique character and several superpowers for your superhero.

    • You can come up with something original regarding any qualities of your superhero. For example, you can make your superhero's strength not an advantage, but a kind of disadvantage. Your hero may first discover that he has superpowers, but in the end you can turn the plot so that he begins to use them for bad deeds.
    • An example would be popular superheroes. What comes to your mind when you think of a superhero? What can you come up with to make your superhero different from the mold?

    Part 2

    Come up with a plot for your superhero
    1. For the hero you need to come up with a backstory and plot. In the world of superheroes, a backstory is the hero's biography. The reader is invited to look into the world of his hero, to observe his life before he became a superhero. With the help of a backstory, an author can tell the reader about the “human” side of his superhero and make readers become attached to him.

      • Many superheroes have had troubles and accidents in the past that prompted them to do good deeds and serve justice. Bruce Wayne saw his parents killed, Peter Parker lost his uncle. These tragedies from the past served as motivation and incentive to use their superpowers for good purposes.
      • Tragedies, conflicts, and inner experiences can help shape a character's character and story. When coming up with a hero's backstory, that is, his past, think about what problems your hero will have to face and how they will affect his personality.
    2. Think about how your character's superpowers developed. Once you come up with his past, you will know whether he was born with these superpowers or acquired them later. Figure out how your hero was able to discover these superpowers, because this discovery is a very important event in his story and reveals his personality.

      • Consider several important aspects: what will be the hero's reaction to the discovery of his superpowers? At what period of his life did he discover these abilities? Did he need them to survive in an emergency? Does your hero try to use this power as little as possible, or vice versa? Is he proud of his superpowers or embarrassed by them?
      • Come up with an interesting and dynamic development of the hero's attitude towards his superpowers. A character whose feelings about their powers don't change over time will be less interesting to the reader. Perhaps your hero was not immediately able to use his powers, perhaps he made some mistakes at first - this is a good option for describing a story that concerns his superpowers.
    3. Consider what society's attitude will be towards your superhero's powers. Some superheroes do not show their powers to society; they are afraid or avoid it. For example, Batman and Spider-Man were first viewed by society as dangerous heroes, only over time society recognizes them as good heroes. Decide what kind of relationship your superhero will have with society.

      • Anti-heroes (for example, Deadpool and Suicide Squad) are also loved by many readers and moviegoers, although in the story they do not like society and are afraid of it. This character trait in your superhero can be an interesting experiment to show how his attitude develops and changes.
    4. Come up with rivals or enemies for your superhero. Any superhero has a couple of villainous enemies with whom he constantly fights. Create a villain the same way you created a superhero. However, you shouldn’t reveal all your cards to the reader about the villain at once. Tell the story of the superhero and villain gradually, then they will be more exciting and interesting.

    Part 3

    Think over the image of your hero
    1. Choose what gender and body type your superhero will be. There are many superheroes, both male and female, with completely different body types. Some of them aren't even human! Think about your character's physical appearance. Perhaps the superpowers you chose for your hero will help you decide on his appearance.

      • Consider several aspects: will your hero be the main attacking force? Or would he be more suited to a flexible and lanky body? Can the superpowers you choose belong to a woman or a man?
