A more plausible explanation for the poltergeist is the presence of people with an unbalanced psyche among the inhabitants of the home. According to statistics, most poltergeist cases occur where one of the family members suffers from epilepsy, some other nervous or mental disorder, or experiences severe stress. Poltergeists very rarely visit wealthy families. Usually mysterious phenomena are preceded by conflicts or sad events.
