Pallet furniture for summer cottages

Old pallets can be an excellent material for making original garden furniture. The main thing is to follow a few simple rules.

And secondly, you need to be careful when choosing finishing materials. Stains, varnishes, and paints can make your new furniture look fantastic, but not all of them are equally safe for humans. Carefully read the instructions for use on the package, and if in doubt, try to get qualified advice before buying.

Do not immediately aim at something complicated, especially if you are trying your hand at carpentry for the first time. To start, choose a simpler project. Better a small victory than a big disappointment. If you've never tried anything like this before, start with this table, for example. It is simple, practical, and most importantly - it will definitely find a place for itself in your country house. A small coffee table made from a pallet will refresh the room and become a unique item in your interior, because you can’t buy this in a store.

In addition, the use of furniture made from natural materials will bring you a lot of pleasure and positive emotions.

Another plus of such furniture is its absolute environmental friendliness.

Our readers have repeatedly asked how, with the help of wooden pallets, you can make a vertical flower bed of extraordinary beauty. In fact, not only the appearance of wooden pallets creates a special beauty, but also the flowers themselves or other crops planted in the container of the pallet. However, such an original flower garden attracts gardeners not only with its style and beauty, but also with its compactness. Vertical flower beds save space, allow you to green the outer walls of buildings and transform their appearance. More about this in our article.

What only an intricate person does not come up with to make from wooden pallets! A sofa, a bed, a coffee table, a wardrobe, a sideboard, and now another newfangled idea is vertical wooden flower beds. It's not that hard to make them. Let's take a closer look at how this is done.

For a vertical flower bed, we need: a pallet (pallet), geotextiles (landscape fabric), paint or varnish, sandpaper, a furniture stapler, plant soil and seedlings.

Help from "Economy"

It is very important to know that not every culture is suitable for a vertical flower garden. For planting, it is best to take the seeds of annual plants (marigolds, petunias, sponges). In this design, you can also grow strawberries, wild strawberries and herbs.

At the first stage of work, it is necessary to remove all roughness and coarsened places with sandpaper. And to make the flower bed last longer, the pallet can be covered with waterproof paint.

Since the back of the pallet and the sides will be covered with fabric, choose the most successful side of the pallet for the “face” of the flower bed.

Lay it face down and then wrap the fabric around the “back” of the pallet. To do this, take the geotextile, fold it in half and use a furniture stapler to cover the back wall, bottom and two sides of the pallet. The distance between the brackets should be no more than 5 cm. We also nail the textiles to the middle bar of the pallet. Lay the pallet horizontally and fill in the potting soil.

Advice from "Economy"

From geotextiles, you can make pockets for each row of beds. And although it will take a little longer, the soil consumption will be much less.

Now we start planting flowers for our vertical flower bed. Start planting plants from the bottom row and plant close to each other so that the soil cannot spill out.

We also plant flowers on the very top of the pallet, which will be the top of our flower bed. Water the seedlings and leave in a horizontal position for two weeks. This is done so that the plants can take root and the soil can be compacted.

After two weeks, turn the flower bed upside down and lean against the wall. Plants should be watered frequently as the soil will dry out, especially at the top of the flower bed.

After about a month, the seedlings will be accepted, the roots will sprout and the soil will become stronger.

Advantages of a vertical flower bed:

  • space saving;
  • unusual design;
  • simple care of plants in a flower bed: since the flower garden is most often located at eye level or slightly higher, weeding or harvesting is much easier, unlike a regular bed, when you need to bend low and strain your back;
  • plant roots and berries rise high from the ground, which protects them from small pests and rodents.

Disadvantages of a vertical flower bed:

  • plants need frequent watering (a hydrogel or drip irrigation system is used to preserve moisture);
  • since only compact containers are used in vertical beds, only undersized plants that will need good feeding will take root well in them;
  • when planting strawberries in a vertical bed, you need to take into account that for the winter the containers must be insulated so that the root system does not freeze.

Crafts from pallets with their own hands for giving can be done by everyone. Pallets are a very convenient material for needlework, so any owner can build interesting and useful little things for his home and garden. In addition, pallets have a very wide scope of use. Initially, they were used as supports for boxes, bags and other materials, including in construction. But such wooden pallets are of excellent quality, durability, reliability and convenient geometric shape, so it is not at all surprising that the craftsmen began to make not only coasters from them, but also furniture that can easily be used both at home and in the yard.

Beautiful furniture comes out of ordinary wooden pallets. To do this, you need to prepare screws, washers, bolts, a drill and corners in advance in order to fix the parts. Additionally, you will need goggles and gloves for protection. In addition, you need to choose paint of different shades and varnish.

  • Bench and chairs.

For a bench, you will need 3 pallets of regular sizes. In addition, you need to prepare wooden blocks. First, the pallet should be cleaned, and then sawn into equal parts - for the back and seat. To connect them, you will need additional boards, which will require you to disassemble another pallet into parts. In addition, the same boards or separate wooden blocks are also needed for the armrests.

For structural strength, double fixation is necessary, so it is recommended to additionally make a couple more rails. Now we need more legs for the bench. To do this, it is best to choose those boards that will be wider. They should not be too long, as a high bench is uncomfortable and unreliable. The legs should be fixed on the underside of the seat on both sides, while it is imperative to use metal corners and clamps. When the whole structure is ready, all that remains is to make beautiful patterns on wood or paint the bench, and then varnish it. Pillows can be placed on top. The chair is made in the same way, only the design will be shorter. In addition, you can make corner benches.

  • Hanging beds and sofas.

On the veranda or terrace you can place a hanging bed or sofa. To create them, you need 2 pallets for the bed. The walls must be firmly fixed to each other. For a more complex option, but more comfortable, you will need to make a regular box of boards (you can take them if you separate the pallets). This design is needed in order to put the mattress on top. Next you need to make the sides of the same boards and racks in the corners. The resulting box is installed on top of 2 more pallets, which were previously fastened together. Everything is fixed with screws. Pillows or bed linen can be stored in between pallets. Additionally, a couple of boards should be fixed at the head. From above, everything needs to be covered with a cloth or painted. Next, you will need a rope or tight ropes to simply hang the structure from the ceiling. The sofa is created in the same way as the benches.

  • Floors in outbuildings.

It happens that in the pantry, shed, storage or cellar, the floor is dirty or leaking. In this case, you can make an additional layer of pallets. In addition, a similar platform can be arranged in the yard in the place where there are large puddles or mud. And although such a design begins to soak after a while, it will still serve for a long time. In order for the device to serve longer, you need to properly care for it and cover the wooden boards with special substances. In general, it is enough just to put a few pallets and fix them with self-tapping screws. This design is very simple and convenient.

What can be done to give

There are many ready-made ideas about what can be built from pallets for a summer residence. The main thing in this case is fantasy.

  • Swing.

Every child dreams of a tree swing. Moreover, any parent can make a swing from pallets with their own hands. In this case, you don’t even have to harvest boards or old tires. You can attach ordinary pallets to a rope, and fix the rope itself to a tree branch as usual. You can choose the width and length of the swing yourself. Even a hanging bed or sofa looks good. Then the wooden parts need to be painted in bright colors, and pillows should be placed on top. Anyone can enjoy relaxing in the shade.

  • Shoe rack.

Shelves for shoes can be installed both in the corridor and on the street. It is enough just to put the pallet vertically - and the shoe rack is ready. You can paint it and add a few extra shelves.

  • Hanger.

To make a convenient and simple hanger, simply divide the pallet into 3 parts along the long boards. Each separate part is a ready-made hanger. It can be hung in the yard or at home. It remains only to add hooks and varnish.

  • Garage wall.

For the garage, you can make shelves or even a whole wall of pallets. They need to be installed vertically, and then attached to the wall. It is convenient to store various tools and small parts on the shelves, because in this order it will be easy to find everything. The length and width of the wall depends only on the desire of the owner - you can install several pallets together or separately in different places in the garage.

  • Vertical flower beds.

A very interesting device is a vertical flower bed. She doesn't take up much space. It can grow crops that do not have a developed root system. For example, this option is suitable for strawberries, as well as for parsley, basil, dill, sorrel, lettuce and other greens in the form of small shrubs. In addition, the entire yard can be decorated with such flower beds in which beautiful flowers will grow, so that the yard will turn into a flower garden. The racks for the flower bed themselves need to be made from pallets that will be located in a vertical position, then they can be covered with additional materials and pour soil into the recesses. It is recommended to make holes in the material so that water flows out after watering.

  • Separator for flower beds.

In the garden, so that the plants do not intertwine, it is recommended to make special wooden separators from pallets. Plants sometimes lie down on the ground and weave instead of growing further upwards. Simply cut the pallet into pieces and install between the flower beds. As a result, small shrubs will be located just between the boards.

  • Sandbox, house, gazebo, cart and lanterns.

The kids in the yard will definitely like the sandbox.

However, very often the sand crumbles and spreads throughout the yard. To prevent this from happening, you can fence off the area with details that can be obtained by cutting the stand into 3 parts along the length. In addition, the entire yard can be decorated with small lanterns, and pallets divided into parts will be the stand for them. Separately for the kids, you can make a house. It is enough just to fasten the pallets together with self-tapping screws and you will get the shape of a house. It can be painted in bright colors and decorated with flowers, fabric and other elements. Children can also participate in this. For them, you can build another small cart. It is recommended to put flower pots in it - it will be a beautiful decoration of the yard.

Prefabricated structures from pallets look great both in the house and in the country. Moreover, the schemes for the implementation of such structures are so simple that anyone can make furniture or other useful gizmos with their own hands. In addition, such an interior and exterior will look very original.

It is difficult to pass by a vertical flower bed without noticing it: it immediately falls into the field of view and catches the eye. This is not the case with traditional "ground" flower beds - they can be examined in detail only by coming closer. Tall flower beds have several other advantages, such as the variety of species and the fact that they can be made from the most common materials and old things that are no longer needed on the farm.

Types of vertical flower beds

There are ready-made vertical flower beds made of plastic. They are multi-tiered structures with cells for planting. Some are equipped with automatic watering systems that simplify the care of the flower garden. The cost of such a device is far from budgetary, so many gardeners are content with home-made flower beds, which are in no way inferior to store-bought ones in terms of aesthetics and convenience.

What are vertical flower beds:

Taking one of the types of flower beds as a basis and using various materials, you can model and create your own variations of a vertical flower garden.

Advantages of vertical flower beds

Due to its compactness, this type of flower beds is popular in landscaping small areas. Occupying only a vertical plane, the flower bed saves space that can be used for other purposes. Where a fairly spacious place is needed to create a traditional one, a vertical flower bed needs only a narrow strip or a small “patch” of earth.

A big advantage is the versatility of flower screens. They are used for zoning the site, masking nondescript buildings and fences, protecting the yard from wind and dust brought in from the road. With their help, it is easy to decorate a place of rest, hiding it from prying eyes.

Plants in a confined space are easier to care for than a regular flower garden, as they are virtually free of weeds and therefore do not need to be weeded. Also, less water is needed for their irrigation, since moisture enters exclusively the root system, and does not spread outside the container.

How to make a vertical flower bed yourself

In the manufacture of the original flower garden, the most affordable and simple materials are used: boards, plastic bottles, barrels, buckets, etc. In this case, you also need to use your imagination and see an element of decor in ordinary things.

From plastic bottles

One of the options for a vertical flower bed is a green screen. A wall about 1.5 m high is erected from wooden shields, and “vases” cut from plastic bottles are attached to it. They can be made in different ways: cut into equal parts and get two containers, cut off only the bottom or neck, and get one roomy pot, or make a hole on the side.

Homemade flowerpots are nailed to the shield at different heights, filled with soil, and flower seeds are sown in them or seedlings are planted. At first, the wall does not look very attractive, but over time, the plants will grow and cover the homemade planters.

Any vertical plane is planted with the same method: a fence, a wall of a house, a barn, a gazebo. In the case when the surface is brick, flowerpots are hung on hooks.

From boxes

Ordinary plastic and wooden boxes are ready-made material for creating a vertical flower bed. Fertile soil is poured into them and set one on top of the other, but not in an even stack, but in such a way that gaps remain. The height of the tower can be any, but you should not make it too big so that it does not fall apart: 4 - 5 elements are enough.

Plants are planted in gaps that are not covered by higher boxes. Gradually growing, they will braid a large part of the structure.

From metal mesh and garden film

You will have to tinker with the creation of this version of the flower garden, but it has a great advantage - water flows to the roots continuously through a pipe specially installed for this purpose. For manufacturing, you will need a container (you can take a wide bucket), wire mesh, a corrugated pipe with a diameter of 15 cm, a dense dark film, expanded clay and adhesive tape.

How to make a wire mesh flower bed:

Seeping through the punctures in the pipe, water moistens the soil, so that the plants always receive the necessary moisture. As the water level drops, it should be added, and so that it does not evaporate too quickly, the upper hole is covered with a small piece of slate.

Video instruction:

Advice. In a similar way, you can make a flower bed from a chain-link mesh. True, for its device it is necessary to take the container somewhat wider, since the grid has volume.

From geotextile

Several pieces of reinforcement up to 2 m long are stuck into the soil in such a way that a circle is obtained. After making sure that the reinforcement is stable, it is wrapped with geotextile in several layers: a high cylinder will be obtained. The inner part is filled with earth, cuts are made on the sides of the canvas, and plants are planted in them.

To keep the soil always moist, watering is organized according to the principle described above: a pipe with holes is inserted into the structure, and water is poured into it.

Advice. Geotextiles can be replaced with foil. But it should be noted that the transparent material transmits light, which is why the soil inside the flower bed can "bloom". In order to prevent "blooming", a dark-colored film should be used.

From a pallet

To create a flower bed, you need a whole pallet without broken boards. Its front part is cleaned with sandpaper, and if desired, polished to a state of smoothness. Since wood is very sensitive to moisture, all details are hidden with drying oil, and then with varnish or paint. Now the pallet is prepared for "metamorphosis" into a flower bed.

Tools and materials for creating a flower bed from a pallet:

  • Landscape fabric (geotextile);
  • Furniture stapler;
  • seedling of flowers;
  • Fertile soil.

The geotextile is folded in 2-3 layers and stuffed onto the wrong side of the pallet using a stapler. The fabric should also cover the ends and the bottom, only the front side and the upper part remain open, through which the flower garden will be watered.

The pallet is placed horizontally, upholstered down, and soil is poured into the gap between the boards. During the backfilling process, the pallet is shaken several times to compact the earth, and the soil is again poured into the space vacated after shaking.

Seedlings of annual flowers are planted close to each other in the gap between the boards and watered. In this position, the flower bed is left for 5-6 days so that the plants are well rooted, and then rises vertically. It can be placed leaning against the fence, or attached to the wall on suspensions.

What else to make a vertical flower bed

There are many more items from which you can build a vertical flower garden. It is worth reviewing the rubbish dumped in the barn, and the idea of creating an original element of garden design will come by itself.

Ideas for a flower bed:

  • Leaky buckets, watering cans, basins. A metal pipe is dug into the ground and concreted, and unnecessary utensils are attached to it at different levels from the soil. The earth is filled in them, and plants are planted, preferably of different types;
  • Car tires. Tires of different diameters are installed in the form of a pyramid: large at the bottom, smaller at the top. The internal space is filled with soil for planting seedlings;

  • PVC pipe. A piece of pipe is dug into the ground, and fertile soil is poured into the inner cavity. At different heights, holes are made with a diameter of about 7 cm, and seedlings of flowers are planted in them;
  • Flower pots and containers. They are fixed on the wall in several rows and are used as flower vases;
  • Plastic and metal barrels. The bottom is cut off in the tank, holes are made in the side walls (the distance between the holes is 20 cm), after which it is installed in the right place and filled with earth. In the holes, as well as in the upper part, seedlings of flowers or strawberries are planted. For irrigation, a perforated pipe is used, which is inserted into the center of the barrel before the earth falls asleep.

What flowers to use in vertical gardening

For growing in a vertical plane, strongly growing unpretentious annuals are most suitable: nasturtium, lobelia, begonia, brachikoma, alyssum, escholzia, mirabilis. Petunia occupies the first place in this list: its thin stems are quite flexible and long, thanks to which they hang down beautifully, forming a lush hat strewn with flowers.

Flowering of petunia begins when the plants reach only 10 cm in height and continues until late autumn. One plant forms a lush bush with gracefully hanging lashes, abundantly strewn with fragrant flowers. Although all varieties are applicable in vertical gardening, ampelous species are preferred.

The best types of petunias for vertical flower beds:

  • Surfinia- differs in growth rate, strong branching, endurance, variety of colors. Varieties: Lime, Blue, Pastel, Pink Vein, Double Purple
  • Tumbelina- Terry flowers of medium size with dark linear patches. The Priscilla variety is popular with delicate lilac flowers and beautiful veins on the petals;
  • Supertunia- is formed into a lush bush with falling lashes, completely covered with small monochromatic or two-color flowers. Varieties: White, Lavender Morn, Royal Velvet, Blushing Princess;
  • Conchita- there are varieties with ordinary flowers (Twilight Blue, Blossom Whiti, Summer Dawn) and with terry flowers (Pink, Lavender, Velvet);
  • fortune- the size of the flowers is about 6 cm in diameter. Unlike other hybrids, which reproduce exclusively vegetatively, it can be grown from seeds. Varieties: Blue, Salmon, Pink, Purple, Rosy, Pearly.

Petunia looks great in any vertical flower bed, but pillars and pyramids standing alone on a green lawn are especially spectacular, strewn from top to bottom with bright flowers that exude a strong aroma.

Strawberries in vertical beds

Growing strawberries in vertical beds has many advantages: the plants are inaccessible to rodents and ground pests, they are easier to care for, the berries do not come into contact with the soil, which means they do not get dirty. Also a considerable advantage is the spectacular effect when the bushes are covered first with white flowers, and then with bright appetizing berries.

Vertical flower beds for strawberries are made according to the same principle as for flowers. Since the root system of plants is shallow, a lot of land is not needed for their normal development, you should only monitor soil moisture and apply complex fertilizers before flowering.

Interesting beds with strawberries are obtained from bags of earth hung on hooks. The fabric is cut in several places, and seedlings are planted in the slot. It is easy to take root and grows quickly. Watering is carried out by surface spraying or drip irrigation is arranged in the upper part of the "flower bed".

The innovative method of growing strawberries has appealed to many gardeners, even those who have enough space on the site to grow berries in the traditional way. But there are some nuances in creating vertical beds. For example, if the structure is quite large and heavy, it is recommended to assemble it in a permanent place. This eliminates the need to move a bulky structure from one point to another. Also, when choosing a place, you need to consider that strawberries love sunny areas.

In winter, plants should be protected from prolonged subzero temperatures, since, being in a limited space, the root system can freeze severely. If the flower bed is collapsible and consists of flower pots, boxes and other containers that are easy to move, they are stored in a cool room in winter.

Pallet beds are considered the most convenient and fastest way to organize the decoration of your site. The design of pallets is so convenient that it even allows you to create hedges with green vegetation, pyramids or just free-standing vertical flower beds.

Features of the use of pallets for flower beds

By design, pallets are rectangular wooden stands. They are assembled from boards and timber. Products have one purpose. Goods are placed on stands in warehouses, shops, in production for further transportation. Transportation is carried out by special equipment. Hence, the pallets have a double bottom with a gap between the planes, so that it is more convenient to grab them. It is the presence of emptiness that allows you to build a flower garden from wooden pallets in their original state.

Standard pallets vary in size. Usually there are models with five or seven strips on the front plane. The boards are stacked next to each other with a small gap. Three planks are usually fixed on the back bottom plane, but there are models in which the number of boards is the same on both sides. Such products are best suited for vertical flower beds.

The design of pallets is ready to create a flower garden, and this is their main advantage. Pallets can be connected to each other, creating simple and complex structures in the garden. Filling the void between the planes with earth, you get a flower garden. It is convenient to assemble garden furniture from pallets. If you show a little imagination, a sofa, table or chair from pallets can smoothly turn into a flower bed.

Advice! For economic reasons, a pallet flower garden is considered profitable. Old discarded pallets can be purchased for a nominal fee or received free of charge at a nearby warehouse.

Pallets are considered an excellent basis for fans of the manifestation of creative fantasies. Flowerbeds are not all that can be made from pallets. The basis of the product are boards. Having disassembled a couple of pallets into separate elements, you can fix a lot of shelves in the yard and put flowers in pots on them. You will get a kind of hanging flower beds that look beautiful with weaving vegetation.

To give originality to the elements of landscape design, wooden structures are painted. Flower beds in bright colors look beautiful. The simplest option is to paint each board a different color. If you get creative, then beautiful drawings are applied to the front plane of the pallet in the form of patterns, geometric shapes, or simply depict an element of nature, such as a tree.

The video demonstrates ideas for using pallets:

Advantages

Considering pallets as blanks for flower beds, you can find many advantages:

  • The cheapness of the material. Often broken pallets can be obtained for free and easily restored.
  • Maintainability. If the board rots or breaks, it is easy to replace it without breaking the entire flower bed.
  • Possibility of modification. The pallet consists of boards and timber. The elements are disassembled. The owner has the opportunity to assemble the base for a flower bed of any shape from blanks at his discretion.
  • Extensive area of use. An ordinary flower bed is only a decoration of the yard. Flower beds on vertically installed pallets at the same time play the role of a fence. It is convenient to enclose the site with such flower beds, to zone the yard.

There are many more benefits to be found. One of them is ease of disposal. If the pallet has exhausted its service life or the flower bed is simply not needed, the structure is dismantled and simply fired.

Flaws

Despite the many advantages, decorative pallet beds have a number of negative qualities:

  • The material of the pallet is wood, which in the flower bed is constantly in contact with water and moist soil. The use of protective impregnations briefly prolong the life of the pallet. Usually after 3-5 years the boards rot.
  • The second disadvantage is that the flower bed in the pallet does not come into contact with the ground. The filled soil mixture is quickly depleted by plants and requires frequent top dressing.
  • A thin layer of soil dries out quickly in the heat. The flowerbed requires frequent watering. In winter, the soil freezes. The roots of plants die, which makes it impossible to grow perennial flowers in flower beds.

A big disadvantage is the restriction in varieties of ornamental plants. A small amount of land in the flower bed does not allow growing flowers with a large root system. On such flower beds, undersized or weaving plants are usually planted.

DIY pallet flower garden

There are many ideas for creating flower beds. A review of photos of flower beds from pallets and a brief description of their manufacture will help owners of private yards decorate their site.

Pallet vertical flower bed

It is not interesting to use a pallet in the form of a box for an ordinary flower garden. The most popular option is a vertical pallet bed, which is installed anywhere in the yard, fixed to a support to protect it from tipping over. The manufacturing process consists of 5 steps:

  1. Work begins with the preparation of the tool, building material, soil and seedlings. For one pallet, you will need a piece of geotextile of the appropriate size. Of the tools you need a stapler, hammer and nails.
  2. A piece is cut out of the geotextile so that it is enough to close the back of the pallet and wrap it on its sides. The fabric is shot to the boards with staples of a construction stapler. The resulting design resembles a large pocket.
  3. The frame of the flower bed is laid horizontally with the front side up. Soil is poured through the gaps between the boards, lightly rammed with a hand, moistened. When the pocket is completely filled with soil, they start planting seedlings or sowing seeds.
  4. So that the soil does not spill out of the frame of the flower bed, the pallet is left in a horizontal position for up to 1 month. When the roots of the plants grow, they are carefully intertwined and strengthen the soil mixture.
  5. After rooting the flowers, the flower bed is set vertically. It is optimal to lean the pallet against the wall of the building and fix it with anchors.

If vertical beds are used for hedges, pallets are connected together to form a fence.

Flowerbed of pallets and lining

Another option for a vertical flower garden is an unusual but convenient design. Pallets are used here as a solid support. You will need two of them. In this embodiment, the use of pallets for flower beds involves the construction of a pyramid in the shape of the letter "L" from them. Pallets are interconnected by self-tapping screws at the top at the point of contact. Wooden lintels are attached from below. The pyramid must be firmly planted on the ground. The finished structure is painted, allowed to dry.

Boxes are being knocked out of a wooden lining. The length of boxes and pallets must match. One pyramid will require 4 boxes. They are hung 2 pieces on each side. Inside the box equip waterproofing, drainage. The boxes are covered with earth, seedlings are planted.

Fence for flower beds from pallets

Pallets for a flower bed will make an excellent fence if they are dug vertically into the ground. First, the area that will be immersed in the ground is treated with bitumen. Waterproofing will protect the wood from decay, extend the life of the fence. The top of the fence is painted with bright colors.

Pallets are dug into two boards around the perimeter of the future flower garden. Be sure to leave an opening for entry. In the future, it can be closed with a beautiful hinged door. So that the place does not disappear, the voids of the pallet fence are filled with soil, planted with flowers. It turns out a combination of horizontal and vertical beds.

Other design ideas

The pallet does not have to be placed vertically to organize a flower garden. It can be laid on the ground and covered with soil mixture. The only drawback is the rapid decay of the boards. The pallet is sometimes not covered with earth, but is used as a rack for flower pots. To do this, all the boards are torn off from the back. The remaining internal jumpers will play the role of shelves.
