4. DEVICE AND PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION.
4.1. The activator (electric activator) consists of four main parts (Fig. 1):
- power supply (item 1);
- main tank (item 2);
- a ceramic glass (pos. 3) inserted into the main container:
- removable top cover (item 4) with electrodes.
4.2. The power supply (item 1) is a transformer DC source with overload protection in the primary and secondary circuits.
4.3. The main container (item 2) is made of food-grade plastic. During the electrolysis process, catholyte is formed in it - “living” water.
4.4. The ceramic glass (pos. 3) acts as a diaphragm between the cathode and anode. Anolyte is formed in it - “dead” water.
4.5. At the bottom of the cover (item 4), electrodes are installed on a base made of insulating material - two anodes with a special chemically resistant coating (black) and two cathodes made of food-grade stainless steel (light). Electrodes during operation, thanks to the use special materials, are not subject to electrochemical destruction.
4.6. On the side surface of the top cover there is a holder (pos. 5) of a fuse link (1A fuse), and on the top there is a light indicator (pos. 6), which indicates the presence of voltage on the electrodes.
4.7. The electrochemical treatment (electroactivation) of water is based on the pattern of abnormal changes in the reaction and catalytic activity of water (aqueous solutions) subjected to electrolysis in a diaphragm electrolyzer. The nature of the anomalous reactivity of water is associated with a unique set of highly active metastable particles formed during electrolysis, and with the special physical conditions that arise in the electrochemical reactor. At the same time, the entire system of intermolecular interactions changes, including the physical structure of water.
4.8. As a result of cathodic electrochemical treatment, any water, even distilled, acquires an alkaline reaction due to the conversion of some of the dissolved salts into hydroxides. Its oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) sharply decreases, surface tension decreases, the content of dissolved oxygen and nitrogen decreases, the concentration of hydrogen and free hydroxyl groups increases, electrical conductivity decreases, and the structure of not only the hydration shells of ions, but also the free volume of water changes. As a result of the formation of highly soluble sodium and potassium hydroxides and the resulting increase in pH, a shift in the carbon dioxide equilibrium occurs with the formation of sparingly soluble calcium and magnesium carbonates from the soluble compounds of these metals usually found in the source water. Heavy metal and iron ions are almost completely converted into insoluble hydroxides.
During anodic electrochemical treatment, the acidity of water increases, the redox potential increases due to the formation of stable and unstable acids (sulfuric, hydrochloric, hypochlorous, persulphuric). as well as hydrogen peroxide, peroxosulfates, oxygen-containing chlorine compounds. As a result of such electrochemical treatment, electrical conductivity increases, the content of dissolved chlorine and oxygen increases, the concentration of hydrogen and nitrogen decreases, and the structure of water changes.
5. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS.
5.1. Before connecting the activator (electric activator) to the network, make sure that the cord, plug and socket are in good condition, as well as the integrity of the ceramic glass.
5.2. All manipulations with the activator (electric activator) (remove the top cover, pour water, drain ready-made solutions, remove and put back the ceramic glass) ONLY WITH THE ACTIVATOR (electric activator) DISCONNECTED FROM THE NETWORK, i.e. when there is no power plug in the socket.
5.3. It is prohibited to touch a working activator (electric activator) during operation or move it from place to place.
5.4. It is prohibited to leave a working activator (electric activator) unattended.
5.5. It is prohibited to use open fire near a working activator (electric activator).
5.6. A working activator (electric activator) should be kept away from children.
5.7. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, service department or similarly qualified personnel to avoid danger.
6. OPERATING PROCEDURE.
6.1. Remove the top cover with electrodes.
6.2. Place the ceramic glass in the center of the main container.
6.3. Pour water into the ceramic glass until it is completely filled.
6.4. Pour water into the main container so that its level is 10-15 mm below the top edge of the ceramic glass.
6.5. Install the top cover on the main container so that the arrow indicators (item 1, Fig. 2) located on the side surfaces of the top cover and the main container are opposite each other, while the black anodes should be inside the ceramic glass, and the light cathodes should be outside it. Carefully push the top cover onto the main container until it stops.
6.6. Plug the power supply cord into a ~220 V outlet. Remember the turn-on time. The operation of the activator (electric activator) is indicated by the glow of the voltage indicator on the electrodes (pos. 6, Fig. 1). Make sure visually that the release of gas bubbles is observed on both cathodes.
6.7. To obtain the required concentration of anolyte and catholyte, 10...40 minutes of operation of the activator (electrical activator) is sufficient: in this time interval, the concentration of the resulting solution will be higher, the longer the process of electrical activation.
6.8. After the required electrical activation time has elapsed, first unplug the plug from the socket, then carefully remove the top cover with the electrodes (do not turn it over), remove the ceramic glass and drain the anolyte (“dead” water) from it into the prepared container. After this, pour the catholyte (“living” water) into another container.
NOTES*.
1*. It is not recommended to operate the activator (electrical activator) for more than 40 minutes, since the pH values of the finished solutions then practically do not change, but unnecessary heating of both the solutions and the power supply occurs. After the time recommended in Tables 1 and 2 has expired, the activator (electrical activator) should be promptly disconnected from the network.
2*. Control the heating temperature of the plastic housing of the power supply by touch. To avoid overheating and failure of the power supply, it is recommended to maintain a pause before the next electrical activation cycle, which is about 1/2 the duration of the previous cycle - when working on tap water, or no less than the full duration of the previous cycle - when working on saline solution according to point 3*.
3*. The main reasons for the low electrical activation current are the presence of deposits of hardness salts in the pores of the ceramic glass or slight mineralization of the water poured into the container. In this regard, it is necessary to thoroughly wash the ceramic glass (see note 7*) or use water from another source that has a higher degree of mineralization. It is allowed to pour into a ceramic glass a weak (1 g per 1 liter of water, no more) solution of table salt NaCl, obtained by dissolving 1 g of salt (a measure for 1 gram of finely ground table salt is used) in a one-liter glass jar. In this case, the electrical activation time is approximately halved (see Table 2).
4*. The main reason for the high electrical activation current is the excessively high degree of mineralization of the water poured into the container. In this regard, it is prohibited to use (pour into both containers) water with added salt or mineral water.
In this case, clean drinking water should be used for electrical activation, and if it is of poor quality, boiled water, cooled to room temperature.
5*. The voltage indicator on the top cover does not light up if it is not pressed down sufficiently (not all the way) onto the main tank and stops if the fuse link burns out. The instructions in paragraph 6.5 should be followed accordingly or the fuse-link (included in the delivery set) should be replaced.
6*. After 40-60 minutes of settling in the catholyte, a white precipitate of hardness salts, which are released from tap water during the process of electroactivation, can be observed at the bottom of the container. After using the catholyte, remove the sediment (pour into the sewer).
7*. During operation, a white coating of salts forms on the cathodes (light electrodes) and ceramic glass, which must be periodically (after 300...400 minutes of total operating time, at least) removed with table vinegar (a 10% solution is allowed). of hydrochloric acid) in the following way:
a) clean the electrodes by wiping them with a rag soaked in vinegar;
b) a ceramic glass is immersed in vinegar for 20...30 minutes. To do this, use any small container that can accommodate a ceramic glass. After the washing procedure, thoroughly rinse off the remaining vinegar with warm water under the tap. Used vinegar is reused many times.
8*. The anodes (black electrodes) self-clean during operation. Mechanical impact on the surface of the anodes is prohibited to avoid damage.
7. APPLICATION OF ELECTROACTIVATED WATER.
7.1. Anolyte and catholyte should be used within 5-8 hours after preparation. These solutions belong to the class of metastable: their activity decreases with time.
7.2. A quantitative characteristic of the acidity or alkalinity of water is the pH value, which is determined by the activity of hydrogen ions. Distilled water is neutral, has a pH=7. The fewer pH units, the more acidic the water; the more, the more alkaline it is. For anolyte, a pH value of 3.0 to 5.5 units is recommended, and for catholyte - from 8.5 to 10 units.
Below are indicative data* showing the change in pH of the resulting solutions depending on the duration of the process of electroactivation of water:
- the source water has a pH value of 7.7 and is poured into both containers (Table 1);
- the source water has a pH value of 7.7 and is poured into the main container, and a weak (1 g per 1 l) solution of sodium chloride NaCl is poured into a ceramic glass (Table 2).
Depending on the source of water and the degree of its mineralization, the pH values of the anolyte and catholyte at the consumer may differ significantly from those indicated. The result is also affected by the degree of contamination of the pores of the ceramic glass with salt deposits.

8. SERVICE LIFE AND DISPOSAL INFORMATION.
8.1. The service life of the activator (electric activator) with proper operation is 5 years. Disposal of the activator (electric activator) does not require special measures; it is carried out by breaking it into small parts.
9. WARRANTY.
9.1 The warranty period for the operation of the activator (electric activator) is 12 months from the date of sale - provided that the consumer complies with the requirements of this operating manual.
9.2. The company undertakes, during the warranty period, to repair free of charge an activator (electric activator) that has failed due to the fault of the manufacturer, and to replace it individual parts or replace with a new product.
9.3. Manufacturer's warranties do not apply to activators (electrical activators) that have mechanical damage and traces of thermal exposure.

Composition and features of “fairytale” liquids
The very first apparatus for preparing “living” and “dead” water with their own hands for industrial purposes was constructed by workers at one of the boreholes in the USSR. How to make a device for “living” and “dead” water with your own hands
The simplest device for direct electrolysis is assembled from the following parts:
- glass liter container;
- two rectangular pieces (145 mm by 40 mm);
- two pieces of power wire;
- plug;
- bag made of denim or;
- plastic circle with holes.
The edge of each strip is bent at an angle of 90 degrees (10 mm). On the bent parts, 2 holes are drilled for bolts. On one of the electrodes, between the mounting holes, another (larger) one is made for installing a diode.
Device assembly procedure
The “living” and “dead” water apparatus is installed with your own hands in the following sequence. The electrodes are placed on the cover and secured with bolts. The metal strips must be parallel to each other. The diode is screwed into the corresponding hole and connected to the upper terminal of the wiring. A wire is also soldered to the second electrode. Both terminals are connected to the switch.
A bag made of tarpaulin is placed on the anode plate with the diode to collect “dead” water. Immediately after turning off the current, you need to quickly pour the liquid from this case into a separate container. A concentrate of “living” water is formed around the negative electrode.
The fabric bag is used as a separation membrane. It prevents the solution from mixing after a power failure. The diode serves as a “rectifier” alternating current from the network.
The device for making “living” and “dead” water with your own hands is ready. All that remains is to fill the jar and bag with regular liquid from the tap and plug in the plug.
How long can “living” and “dead” water retain its qualities?
The device is assembled with your own hands (the photo demonstrates this) and connected to power. The reaction should continue for about 5 minutes until the jar is slightly heated. During this time, it is necessary to prepare two vessels for transfusion of the resulting fractions. Immediately after turning off the current, the electrodes are carefully removed from the vessel along with the tarpaulin cover. “Dead” water is poured from the bag into one container, and “live” water (remaining in the main jar) into another.
If you hesitate and leave both liquids in the original container, the reaction will very quickly occur in the reverse order, and all the released components will mix. The water will remain activated, disinfected and healthy, but will lose the exclusive properties that the “living” and “dead” water apparatus gave it. You can ruin the whole thing with your own hands, and you will have to start the process all over again.
The storage periods are as follows:
- acidic liquid (“dead”) is stored for up to two weeks;
- alkaline (“live”) must be consumed within a few hours, as it quickly loses its healing qualities.
Is it possible to install regular stainless steel for the anode and cathode?
When making a “living” and “dead” water apparatus with your own hands, it is important to use food-grade steel, free of all impurities. It has been proven that when exposed to electricity, heavy metal molecules are released during the reaction. Water saturated with ions of nickel and chromium, molybdenum and iron, vanadium and others becomes not just harmful, but poisonous. It should not be used for drinking.
