5.2. Due to production needs, an installer for the installation of steel and reinforced concrete structures of the 3rd category is required to go on business trips (including local ones).

I have read the instructions on __________/___________/“____” _______ 20__.

Modern construction consists almost entirely of assembly ready-made structures. This especially applies to structures such as towers, steel bridges, panel buildings. Everywhere, in one way or another, large units are used, which are produced at the factory, transported and connected together at the construction site.

And here we cannot do without a special category of workers - installers.

What exactly does a steel and reinforced concrete structure installer do?

The work of an installer in the construction industry is extremely complex and varied. In the very in a general sense he is responsible for the connection various elements into a single whole.

In practice, the installer of reinforced concrete structures and steel structures Performs many different duties:

    slinging and lifting parts to a height ( rigging work);

    welding of elements;

    tightening of connections, including self-tapping bolts;

    installation of volumetric blocks various designs;

    assembly of structures from large parts using various equipment (steel chimneys, bridge spans, cable-stayed structures, etc.);

    sealant treatment of joints and joints of various metal structures.

As you can see, the range of responsibilities of the installer-builder is extremely wide. At the same time, as qualifications increase, the requirements for skills also increase.

On initial stage such a specialist is usually engaged in small-unit assembly and various auxiliary work: slinging, lifting parts to a height, threading nuts and bolts, etc. Moreover, such installers are usually involved in civil engineering– most often they can be found at residential or office buildings. They also work under the supervision of a foreman or a more qualified installer.

Specialist highly qualified can already participate in the construction of strategic facilities: nuclear power plants, hydroelectric power stations, factories, etc. At the same time, they can install three-dimensional structures using any equipment, including helicopters.

Working conditions and requirements for installers of steel and reinforced concrete structures

Needless to say, the work of a builder is never easy. Work outdoors, at any time of the year and in any weather. Excellent health and stamina are required, so only men are suitable for such a position. At the same time, working on a construction site (especially at height) is always accompanied by a risk to life.

It is not without reason that high-altitude installers are considered professionals of the highest class, given the enormous responsibility that rests on their shoulders.

First of all, such specialists, of course, require the ability to work with their hands, responsibility and hard work.

Second aspect– this is the strictest adherence to safety regulations, especially when it comes to work at height (where installers spend 90% of their working time).

Hence it follows third requirement– ability to work in a team, listen to instructions from superiors, be able to use radio communications and actively interact with colleagues.

Of course, a highly qualified installer must know how to handle all types of installation, including large and heavy structures (pipes, bridge spans, trusses and other voluminous parts).

He must also know the rules for installing rigging equipment, including complex ones. If you do not fully master this skill, the load can twist and turn at a height, so that later it will be impossible to orient it for installation. You'll have to lower it to the ground, re-sling it and start the whole operation all over again. If poorly secured, a multi-ton structure can completely break the slings and collapse directly on the heads of the workers below.

Where to learn to become an installer of steel and reinforced concrete structures

To successfully work as an installer of steel and reinforced concrete structures, you must obtain a specialized secondary specialized education, as well as permission to work at heights.

Installer education is given in specialized educational institutions SPO ( construction colleges and technical schools). There are many in Russia government agencies who provide such education.

In addition, a number of large enterprises have their own training centers for advanced training and retraining of personnel.

Qualification categories for installers of steel and reinforced concrete structures according to ETKS

The Unified Tariff and Qualification Directory of blue-collar professions reflects six qualification categories specialty of builder-installer – from 2 to 7.

Installer of steel and reinforced concrete structures, 2nd category

Mainly engaged in auxiliary work (slinging structures, lifting a hand winch to a height, punching holes and grooves in reinforced concrete structures, etc.);

Installer of steel and reinforced concrete structures, 3rd category

Performs simple operations directly related to the installation of structures: tightening bolted connections, laying road surface slabs, straightening shaped steel on presses, sealing joints of parts, etc.

Installer of steel and reinforced concrete structures 4th category

Assembly reinforced concrete beams no more than 12 meters long, installation of base blocks weighing up to 8 tons, installation of steel frames of industrial furnaces weighing up to 5 tons and other technological operations. Also receives the right to install some structures at hydroelectric power stations.

Installer of steel and reinforced concrete structures 5th category

Has the right to mount individual designs at nuclear power plants (pipe passages) and hydroelectric power plants, install pipes up to 30 meters high, steel columns weighing up to 15 tons, etc.

Installer of steel and reinforced concrete structures, 6th category

Can carry out large-scale assembly of reinforced concrete frames, beams and trusses with subsequent tensioning of reinforcement. Can mount large components when assembling furnaces, building structures and structures at nuclear power plants, thermal power plants, hydroelectric power plants, etc.

Installer of steel and reinforced concrete structures, 7th category

Able to carry out any technological operations on installation and objects of any complexity, including the use of a helicopter.

Average salary for an assembler of steel and reinforced concrete structures in Russia

It is clear that for such highly qualified specialists, wages cannot be low. However, everything very much depends on the construction site. At the initial stage, the employer can offer no more than 30 thousand rubles for shift work.

Shift work at industrial facilities is a completely different matter. Here, wages start from 80 thousand rubles. But at the same time, the requirements for specialist skills are extremely high. The highest demands, of course, are placed on specialists in the nuclear industry, but wages in this area are one of the highest among blue-collar professions - about 120 thousand rubles plus bonuses and allowances.

Pros and cons of working as a builder-installer

Obvious advantages of the profession:

    decent wages;

    the opportunity to continuously improve qualifications and professionalism;

    “northern” allowances and length of service in case of work on a rotational basis;

    official employment according to Labor Code.

Cons there is also plenty:

    difficult working conditions;

    high requirements to qualifications and experience;

    Risk to health and life at a construction site.
