Starting at the age of 2, children begin a period when they are interested in building and creating. At this time, they like construction sets, pyramids and especially plasticine as building material. You can mold anything from plasticine, from primitive figures (a ball, a sausage) to complex figures of people and animals. In addition, modeling perfectly develops Creative skills and children's imagination. Of course, this cannot be done without the help of parents. Do not doubt that you and your child will have great fun while modeling.

Children love bright characters, so today we will sculpt a funny chicken. You can choose any colors for the chicken to suit your taste. Experiment, and the result will definitely please you.

Chicken made of plasticine

You will need:

  • Yellow plasticine for the body
  • Orange plasticine for beak and paws
  • Red plasticine for comb
  • Blue or red plasticine for wings
  • The tail can be made from any colors

Modeling instructions:

1. From yellow plasticine, mold the body of a chicken, shaped like a cone with a blunt end at the top.

2. Make 3 small cakes from red plasticine and attach them in a row on your head. You will get a scallop.

3. We make eyes from white and black.

4. Now let's sculpt the beak. To do this, we will form an elongated diamond from a small piece of orange plasticine and flatten it a little.

5. Fold it in half to create a beak.

6. For the tail, roll 3 sausages of any color, preferably different (for me it’s blue, orange and green).

7. Stick the sausages to the back of the chicken and bend them a little. The result is a tail like this.

8. Let’s form paws from orange plasticine. Using a stick or a toothpick we will make fingers.

9. Place the paws at the very bottom of the chicken’s body.

10. Let's make wings from blue plasticine.

11. Attach wings to the sides of the chicken. Our craft is ready!

Good afternoon, readers and guests of the “Family and Childhood” website. I present to you another modeling lesson. And today we will sculpt a chicken from plasticine. It’s very easy to make a little yellow bundle of tenderness together with your children. Chickens look cute and naive, so such a craft will only evoke positive emotions. Can be practiced similar work with those children who have already learned to divide plates into parts, roll balls and use their fingers to deform them into droplets. This simple craft looks like a miniature toy. Children won’t have to explain for a long time what a chicken looks like; they already imagine it that way. appearance, and therefore working with plasticine will be easy and fun.

We sculpt a chicken from plasticine.

1. Any child will point his finger at the yellow block in the box if asked what color should be used to sculpt the chicken. Take exactly this shade. You will need additional colors and stacks.

2. Roll six balls, gradually reducing their size.

3. Turn the largest ball into the body of a miniature chick, stretching out the sharp tail with your fingers, making it fluffy with the help of a stack.

4. Attach the second ball on the opposite side and press down firmly with your fingers. This will be a small bird's head.

5. Attach a sharp orange beak and two blue eyes to the head ball.

6. Turn two small pieces into wings. To do this, press the plasticine on top with your fingers to make flat cakes. Then, pressing with your fingers on both sides, gradually give the workpieces a teardrop shape. Attach the wings into place and stack them to make them fluffy. Glue a scarlet comb to the top of the head.

The little yellow chicken is in the poultry yard for the first time and looks at the world around him with surprise.

You will need:

  • medium-hard plasticine: yellow, red, white, blue and pink
  • wooden toothpick
  • knife shaped stack
  • base for modeling
  • glass of water
  • damp cloth.

Modeling parts
1. Make two balls from yellow plasticine: one large - for the body - and the second, about half the size - for the chicken's head.
2. Roll the large ball a little on the substrate, giving it a barrel shape.
Flatten them into cakes. These are the chicken's future eyes.
3. From the same plasticine, mold two more balls the size of half a ball for the chicken’s head. Flatten them into cakes. These are wings.

You can make one ball twice the size, flatten it and cut it flat.
4. Make a small cone for the beak from yellow plasticine.
5. From red plasticine, mold two sausages of the same length: one thicker, the other thinner.

6. Cut a small piece of red plasticine and make a strip for the scallop.
7. Make two balls each from white and blue plasticine so that the blue balls are three times smaller than the white ones.
8. From pink plasticine, make a small cake based on the drop.

Assembling the figure
1. Take blanks for the body and head of the chicken and a piece of toothpick.
2. Make a flat area on the head where the parts join.
3. Using a piece of toothpick, make a hole in the joint area on the head, then stick the same piece into the joint area on the body.

Try to insert the toothpick at the same angle to the flat areas on both pieces. Select the appropriate angle for the chicken's head.
4. Decorate the edge of the scallop strip with a knife-shaped stack, cutting it into triangles.
5. Cut the beak cone in half. Stick a pink cake to one of the slices.
6. Make eyes by pressing small blue cakes onto white ones.

7. Use a stack to make a small indentation on the head in the back of the head.
8. Insert the bottom part of the comb into it and lightly crimp the plasticine along the edges of the insert.

9. Press the eye blanks to the head in the right places.
10. Press the halves of the beak in the same way. Make the half with the pink cake the bottom part of the beak.
11. Shape the wings by cutting the edges into triangles.

It will take very little time to make a chicken from plasticine. After all, the technique of creating it is absolutely simple and does not require special skills in modeling. And therefore, even the smallest sculptor can sculpt such a charming baby. In the future, a handmade craft can become a child’s favorite toy.

So, you will need:

  • a set of children's plasticine;
  • several comfortable spatulas;
  • toothpick or match 1 pc.;
  • skewer (for drawing small details).

How to make a chicken from plasticine

Step 1. Prepare a yellow block of plasticine. Cut it into three parts (as in the photo).

Knead each piece thoroughly in your hands and roll them into balls.

Step 2. Using the first large ball, create a chicken head. Lightly roll it out with your palms to give it an oval shape.

Step 3. Insert a toothpick or match into the second ball and fix the oval head on top.

Step 4. Let's start adding small details: eyes, beak and wings. We mark the location of the chicken's eyes on the head. We create eyes from white, green and black plasticine and stick them on the created marks.

Next, we fashion a cone-shaped beak and attach it to the face. Using a stack, draw a stripe on the beak dividing it in half.

Step 5. From the remaining small yellow ball we form a couple of small wings oval shape. Glue them to the body.

Step 6. We create the shell from white or beige plasticine. Roll two balls of different diameters.

Flatten each one and use a spatula to make a jagged outline along the edge.

We fix the small piece on the chicken’s head, and attach the large piece to the bottom. Give them a concave shape.

Step 7. Decorate the top piece of the shell with several miniature flowers of blue or purple. We also glue green leaves to the flowers.

For example, using this scheme, you can mold our chicken that has just hatched from an egg.

To begin with, we will make a body and two neat wings from yellow plasticine; to cut out the wings, you can make a stencil in the form of grains in advance. Then we make the shell, for the shell we need to roll the plasticine into a layer, then we plant our chicken in the shell. Then we move on to the smaller details of the eyes and mouth. With the help of this drawing you can make a chicken yourself.

A simple chicken made from plasticine is made in a couple of minutes. You need to roll a ball-body, add wings in the form of flattened drops. From red plasticine, roll three small peas for the scallop, orange for the beak, two black for the eyes. That's the whole craft. Using the same scheme, you can make a chicken from other materials - salt dough, polymer clay, confectionery mastic.

A small cheerful round chicken made of plasticine. Just a few details and the plasticine chicken craft is ready. You will need to roll very even balls of plasticine, sculpt wings and a scallop, and the plasticine chicken is ready.

Modeling a chicken from plasticine with children.

This craft is suitable for small children because it is quite simple. Chicken can be made for Easter or New Year Rooster, or, of course, just for the development of the child.

For this craft we need plasticine different colors, first of all yellow color, as well as red and black.

Roll a ball from a piece of yellow plasticine

pull out the tail on one side

Use red plasticine to make chicken legs and attach them to the body (yellow ball)

then we make and attach a beak from red plasticine and from black - button eyes

then all that remains is to make and attach the wings to the chicken, now it’s ready

I took a master class with photos here

In order to make a chicken from plasticine required:

    • yellow, red, white, blue and pink plasticine
    • modeling board
    • toothpicks

Roll two balls from yellow plasticine, one larger for the body, the second smaller for the head. We thread a toothpick through the body so that later we can attach the head to it - this craft will hold on more tightly.

Now we sculpt small details - a comb from red plasticine, eyes from white and blue, a beak from yellow and pink:

We attach the scallop, eyes and beak to the head, and also sculpt the wings:

We attach the wings to the body. And from red plasticine we roll very thin sausages, from which we then mold the legs:

We fasten the legs and get a cheerful and sunny chicken:

And here’s another sculpting option that produces a hatched chicken:

Working with plasticine is very useful for children. And what earlier child Let's start sculpting different figures, the better for his development.

What is the benefit of working with plasticine? The most important thing is that modeling develops fine motor skills, which are directly responsible for the development of intelligence.

Subsequently, a child with developed fine motor skills will perceive any information well, it will be easier for him to learn to write at school, he will be less tired, which means good academic performance junior schoolchild guaranteed.

To begin with, sculpting uses elementary parts - a sausage and a bun. This is the child’s acquaintance with the material plasticine. In the future, the child will love working with soft masses and will learn to make parts more complex.

The video that taught me how to sculpt more complex things with my child helped me a lot. For example, chicken.

The child will be very happy with the final result of his labors.

Making a chicken out of plasticine is not that difficult. The main thing is to stock up on plasticine different color. And to begin with, mold the necessary simple figures into balls, cakes, and cylinders.

Here is an example of how you can make a funny yellow chicken.
