Kolobok announces that she will enroll in the free department, since she has extraordinary singing talent and, as proof, performs some famous New Year's song, and then quickly runs away from the stage. As the curtain closes, Grandmother and Grandfather hug, cry and lament that a difficult fate awaits her.
In the third act Kolobok goes through dark forest to the city and meets on his way the Hare, a provincial theater impresario looking for talent. He offers the beauty an audition and she agrees. A beautiful song performed by the main character will sound again, and then the Hare says that it’s time to sign the contract. The girl takes the pen, but then the Fox appears on the stage and disrupts the conclusion of the contract. She shows the young talent that the Hare wanted to deceive her and, according to the papers, 90% of the fee would go to him.
Kolobok sings a song about broken dreams, but Lisa consoles the provincial girl and offers her a job in an advertising agency as a model. Together the ladies sing about the beautiful life of fashion models and glamorous girls, but then it turns out that they will have to advertise not luxurious clothes, furs or jewelry, but some not very attractive product (for example, a cure for constipation, a cure for hemorrhoids, etc.).
Kolobok, in horror, refuses such work, runs away from the Fox and immediately runs into the Wolf. A respectable friend in a tuxedo listens to the girl’s complaints and says that he has a job for her related to music. He calls his assistant on the phone and asks him to bring a special suit for the debutante. The delighted Kolobok expects to see a luxurious dress with sparkles and rhinestones, but receives a set of underwear consisting of a minimal amount of material. The wolf introduces himself as the owner of a strip club and tries to attract a beauty for explicit pole dancing.
The indignant girl throws her underwear in the face of her impudent employer and runs as fast as she can, but runs into the Bear. An elderly gentleman in a fur coat becomes delighted and swears that he will make a movie star out of Kolobok. The girl asks what is required of her, and receives the answer: “Play leading roles in films and accompany the producer everywhere!” The naive provincial girl happily agrees, but then the legal wife of the Baba Yaga Bear comes and attacks him with her fists because he is once again trying to seduce the young fool.
Kolobok sings a sad song about how difficult it is to get settled in life. Baba Yaga, delighted with the girl’s stunning voice, approaches her, consoles her, and then calls her on the phone and invites her old friends Father Frost and Snegurochka, who host the “Talent Search” program on television, to the stage. She introduces Kolobok to them and asks them to listen to her songs. Representatives of show business admit that the girl has a wonderful voice and promise to build her career on television.
In the last act, Grandfather and Grandmother, sitting in front of the TV on New Year's Eve, suddenly see their beloved Kolobok singing the introductory song on the screen on the main Light of the country. They don’t believe their eyes, but then the girl enters the hut along with Father Frost and the Snow Maiden, introduces them to her parents and tells them that she has become a real singer, just as she wanted.
