Buy mortise locks for interior doors in the ZamkiTut online store at affordable prices.

Any door in your house or apartment should close tightly. Mortise locks, which you can buy in our store, are mounted inside the interior or entrance door. We have selected exclusively high-class security locks for you. An interior mortise lock is perfect for installation on a door of one type or another.

The price of a locking mechanism depends on its design. The versatility of the models is confirmed by the fact that the locks can be installed on any door leaf made of plastic, wood or metal.

Main advantages

High quality, reliability, reasonable cost and, importantly, ease of installation and operation. In order to install the lock into the door leaf yourself, it is enough to make holes using a drill or grinder. Next, install the lock and attach the handle to it. On the other hand, even a high-quality lock can become weak if it was installed by unqualified specialists.

Other benefits:

  • original appearance;
  • protection from external negative factors, which affects the durability of the structure;
  • reasonable prices.

Online store door locks offers cylinders (cylinders) for imported and domestic producers. The range also includes half-cylinders, oval cylinders and turn signals for cylinders (turntables).

The secret part of a cylinder lock is the cylinder or cylinder of the door lock, a product of precision technology. The lock cylinder is fixed inside or outside the lock itself and can only be turned with a key inserted into the hole. The secret mechanism is usually located in a standard case, thanks to which cylinders from different manufacturers can be interchangeable, i.e. they are compatible with each other. Lock cylinders are very common nowadays because of their ease of use (small size key, low turning force when rotating, also the main plus is that if necessary, not the entire lock is changed, but only the lock cylinder - its secret part. Large Reinforced cylinder mechanisms and cylinders with protection against most known methods of criminal autopsy are popular.

One of the types of lock security mechanisms is the cylinder mechanism. The structural element of the lock, of which the cylinder is a part, can only be activated when the original (standard) key is inserted into the lock hole. This category includes pin, disk, frame, magnetic and some special mechanisms secrecy. All manufacturing companies produce cylinder mechanisms of the same shape, thanks to this “larvae” different manufacturers interchangeable with each other. This fact determines the enormous popularity of mechanisms of this type in the segment of household locks.

The main advantage of cylinder mechanisms is the ease of replacing or repairing the lock. If the need arises to change the lock, it is enough to replace only the central secret mechanism - the cylinder. The operating principle of this mechanism is to line up pins (needles) inside the cylinder in a certain combination, the pins take the configuration of the inserted key. Someone else's key will enter the wrong pin combination when opening the door, and the lock will not open. The secrecy of the lock directly depends on the number of pins, their manufacturing accuracy, as well as protection from unauthorized manipulation.

The protection class of cylinder mechanisms varies from first to sixth. It depends on the number of pins, security mechanisms, case material, and additional anti-vandal features. When installing the mechanism in the lock, it is possible to complete it additional protection- armor plate.

Our online store represents only the main the lineup cylinder mechanisms. If you want to buy a cylinder whose model is not on our website, you can always contact us and order the model you need.

In our online store you can buy lock cylinders and other locking mechanisms at affordable prices and at any time convenient for you.

There are many types of locks on the locking mechanism market: lever, deadbolt, electronic. A common model is a mortise door lock with a cylindrical mechanism, due to its high degree of security, maintainability and affordable price.

What is a cylinder lock, types of structure

According to the GOST standard, a cylinder lock is: “a mechanism that moves and fixes the lock bolt in working positions and ensures the secrecy of the lock through a secrecy mechanism, i.e. a set of specific combinations of pins (plates, disks) corresponding to its own key.”

These mechanisms have different forms:

  • Cylinder.
  • Circle.
  • A drop.
  • Triangle.

The door hardware market offers cylinders with a European standard mechanism: they have specific size and are made of brass profile. Cases are made for them.

There are two types of cylinder mechanism:

  • Pin.
  • Disk.

Pin cylinder lock device

A pin lock, mortise cylinder (cylinder, volute) is a mechanism based on a core with a connector. It has code channels in which there are code pins (their height determines the number of slots on the key) and a spring that pushes the code pins out of the channel. The code pins are located in a profile, thanks to which they do not fly out. There are also support pins.

When the key enters the hole, each slot corresponds to a code pin, which is recessed to a certain depth (height). When unlocked, the code and support pins are exactly in line between the body and the core, and it (the core) turns easily. In this case, the code elements remain in the core, the support elements with springs remain in the housing. That's the whole working principle.

Accepted European standard The cylinder shape (cylinder) is called: DIN standard mechanism.

Pin cylinder lock parts:

  • The body is the outer part of the lock in which all the parts are located.
  • The key is an independent unlocking part, with the help of which the secret is opened when the leash is turned.
  • The cylinder or rotor is a replaceable part of a lock with a connector. It contains pins.
  • Code pins or pins are parts of the locking mechanism.
  • Locking pins or pins - together with code pins block the rotor.
  • Return springs - they are used to lock the pins.
  • Leash - with its help the bolt moves.

Disc cylinder lock device

A door disc lock is a type of cylinder device whose mechanism is represented by a set of discs. Each disc has a uniquely shaped cutout. Corresponding slots are made on the key.

When unlocked, the mechanism disks move deeper towards the core. If the key fits, it turns easily. The secret of the lock places the discs at a certain angle, their recesses create a channel with a balance - turn and the bolt moves.

The key is a lengthwise sawn rod with slots; it is also called a semicircular key.

Cylinder padlocks with this mechanism are less susceptible to freezing. It is not recommended to install a mortise disc lock outdoors. They are suitable for fabrics with heavy loads. Suitable for entrance and interior doors made of metal, wood, plastic, glass.

Types of cylinder mechanism

There are several classifications based on different criteria.

By location on the canvas:

  • Overhead – has one connector. On the other side there is a handle.
  • Door mortise lock– its connector is through, that is, the key can be used on both sides. The cylinders of this lock are of two types: key+key, key+handle. The second type (with handles) is more convenient, but the first type is safer: if with inside Insert the key into the slot; the lock cannot be opened from the outside.

In addition to these characteristics, there are cylinders different lengths, the size depends on the thickness of the canvas. When purchasing, you need to consider the size or you may encounter the following problems:

  • Cylinder small size– will be located deep in the body. This is ugly and inconvenient - the door will be difficult to open, because the key will not reach the mechanism of the device.
  • A large cylinder - if it protrudes beyond the edges of the connector, this will make it easier for attackers: it’s easier to break. If armored pads are installed in the housing, the cylinder will not fit into the socket.

Cylinders are classified according to their location on the body: central and outer.

Cylinder locks with latch

The mortise lock with a latch is functional and easy to use.

Cylinder locks with latch latches are closed under mechanical action. She happens to be auxiliary element locking mechanism. The latch is available with or without a tongue lock, with one or two handles. Such locks are often used in residential and industrial premises.

Hazel handles are used for entrance and interior doors. There is no functional features, it's more of a decorative element. The convenience is that when changing the interior, in order for the locking device to fit into the image, you just need to choose a handle according to the style.

Handles for entrance doors are resistant to external influences, made of durable materials (when compared with interior ones).

Depending on the type of handle pressed, there are:

  • Push (for entrance doors).
  • Pivot (for interior doors).

The push handle is also suitable for interior designs. The choice depends on the buyer's preferences.

How to choose a cylinder lock

In addition to such a criterion as the size of the larva, when choosing, you need to pay attention to the following characteristics:

  • Protection - you need to ask the sales consultant how much durable material used to make a castle. The difficulty of opening it when bumping, drilling, or selecting a key depends on this.
  • Quality - how accurately the mechanism is built, whether there have been cases of breakdown, how repairable the mortise lock with latch is.
  • Additional functionality: this is recoding, installation of a gear mechanism, “anti-panic” and others.

The safety of the premises depends on how conscientiously the manufacturer adheres to these characteristics. How more reliable device– the higher, as a rule, its cost will be.

A cylinder mortise lock with a latch is convenient because, if necessary, it is not necessary to dismantle the entire device - it is enough to replace the cylinder. You can replace the lock cylinder yourself by following the proposed algorithm:

  • Open the door, find the screw on the bar near the cylinder at the end.
  • Unscrew the screw.
  • If the locks have handles, the cylinder can be easily reached; if without, you need to insert the key into the slot, turn it counterclockwise until it stops and pull it towards you.
  • Then move the key and handle slightly in the opposite direction so that the lever moves down - then the cylinder will easily come out of the body.
  • The new cylinder is inserted into the mechanism by the handle, or by inserting a key into it. Monitor the position of the lever - it must be completely secret.
  • Try to close the mortise lock with the latch, moving it backwards and forwards so that it closes freely.
  • Replace the screw.
  • Check the work.

To replace the cylinder of the rim lock, the body must be removed from the blade. Then everything is the same as with the previous one - find the screw, take out the old cylinder and replace it with a new mechanism.

How cylinder devices are hacked

Unfortunately, the cylinder of a mortise lock is also its weakest part - attackers use many methods to break into the mechanism. Here are some of them:

  • Hacking with a master key: pick up the key to the lock with modern mechanism It’s almost impossible, but thieves use special locksmith picks, plus technical devices, such as a bumping machine. True, this option may also be ineffective: the technology provides for a complex secret: grooves, grooves. Therefore, to open a mortise mechanism with a latch, it will take a lot of time, which attackers most often do not have.

  • Breaking out the cylinder: select a key of suitable size that will fit into the well. Then they hit it with a hammer - all the parts (pins, pins) are knocked down and the canvas opens. But this method is suitable if the lock is old or made of fragile material. You can protect yourself from such a break-in by purchasing a durable mechanism or choosing a lock with a non-standard connector.
  • Drilling – effective method hacking You can only resist by choosing a device with a mechanism made of high-strength materials.
  • Knocking out: using physical strength, improvised materials break the mechanism. The solution is to purchase strong structures.

The strength of the material is the main factor protecting the room from unwanted penetration. But you also need to remember that a mortise lock should be easy to use and last a long time.

Types of keys for cylinder lock

A mortise lock with a cylinder type latch is the most common. Such a device is distinguished not only by the type of fastening (mortise, overhead) but also by the type of key. Some are easy to copy, but there are models that cannot be taken from, and have millions of possible combinations.

  • English is an unreliable option, because it is a very common type. Due to the simplicity of the device, you can pick up the key, which makes the task easier for attackers. Easily broken. Such a lock can be installed at the entrance to a room that has no material assets.

Watch the video for more information about the features of the cylinder lock:

  • The Finnish key is a high indicator of reliability. The mechanism uses discs with slots, which are coded parts. Used in padlocks.
  • Profile key – has high level secrecy, resists master keys, easy to use. Has pins (active and passive), a large number of combinations.
  • High security key - 3D technology is used in the manufacture of some models. The mechanisms are difficult to hack and require tools and training.

For modern locks with handles, the last two types of keys are more often used due to their high degree of reliability.

For reliable protection your apartment, house or any other premises, our store in Moscow offers high-quality door cylinders. They are presented in several versions - brass and aluminum. Do not forget that when choosing a door cylinder, you should focus on the main color of the lock - there should be no differences in tone. We offer various color shades products:

  • . gold;
  • . chromium;
  • . nickel.

The secrecy mechanism of the presented products is different: there are both cylinder and lever versions.

Cylinder security mechanism

One of the most popular today. It is also called the “English castle”. Its main element is a cylinder, which rotates if it reads the code of only “its” key.

Level secrecy mechanism

This type of lock is common for entrance iron, metal doors. This type is based on a set of plates that, under the influence of the teeth of the key, line up in a certain way and allow you to turn the mechanism and open the door.

Before you buy an entrance door lock cylinder, pay attention to its length and width, choose the one that exactly suits your lock design. The assortment of our store includes variations of both small and large sizes: 30/30, 35/35, 40/40, 45/55, 60/50, etc.

Also available:

  1. 1) bilateral – and with outside, and the door is opened from the inside with a key;
  2. 2) with a turntable - the door is opened from the inside using a special device - a turntable.
  3. 3) for entrance doors;
  4. 4) for interiors.

The set includes one to five keys for each door cylinder.

The price depends on several parameters: size, material, mechanism, manufacturer, and varies from 100 to 4000 rubles.

You can buy a door cylinder either in our store or by ordering them on the website or by phone in Moscow and Perm.

Most interior door locks have a larval secret mechanism, which, when turned with the original key, moves the lock bolt and unlocks the door. Breakage or malfunction of the mechanism is often associated with a malfunction of the cylinder.

What is a larva and when does it need to be replaced?

The cylinder is the mechanism that is responsible for the secrecy of the locking device and ensures the uniqueness of the original key. It is a metal cylinder in a cage. The core is inserted into a correspondingly shaped hole in the lock body and secured using a long screw on the side end strip on the door leaf. The rotating cylinder moves the lock bolt through a cam. The free rotation of the mechanism in the core body is prevented by small spring-loaded cylinders. To unlock the cylinder, you need to insert the original key, which has a code cut. He lifts the pins in such a sequence that they unlock the mechanism and allow you to move the lock bolt and unlock the door.

In principle, all larval locks work the same way, but they can differ in the type of elements that make up the secret. There are larvae in which the pins (cylinders) are replaced with washers with a cut. In these secrets, the locking pin releases the inner cylinder when the cuts on the washers, when inserting the original key, line up into a smooth groove into which this pin falls and allows the cylinder to turn.

As a rule, the disassembly of the secret mechanism is carried out by masters. Such work is carried out not for repair, but for the purpose of recoding. These mechanisms cannot be repaired. If they fail, they are simply replaced.

There can be many reasons why the core requires replacement. Here are the most common:

  • Natural wear and tear metal parts. Over time, the secret begins to jam, and later the mechanism finally jams.
  • Mechanical breaking of a lock by knocking out the cylinder. In this case, the rotary cam breaks and the core body is destroyed.
  • Lost key. The possibility that the key fell into the hands of a person with bad intentions can never be ruled out. In this case, you can secure your home only by changing the secret.

Replacing the core is a simple and inexpensive activity. To determine how easy it will be to replace the secret mechanism and what is required for this, it is necessary to determine what type of lock cylinder it is.

Types of larvae

The technology for disassembling the lock cylinder depends on the standard of the mechanism. The following types are distinguished:

  • DIN standard cylindrical cylinders. Almost interchangeable. The DIM standard establishes the basic dimensions of the cylinder (core height - 34 mm, rotary cam width - 10 mm) and many other parameters. Secret mechanisms of this type are the most common. If the lock has such a core, then replacing it will not cause any difficulties. They are characterized by the shape of the seat in the lock body and the presence of a rotating lever, which is located inside the body and divides the cylinder into two parts.

  • Disc or cylinder cylinders for locks made according to the old RIM standard. Unlike cylinders, DIMs do not pass through the lock body, but are screwed to its body with screws. The transmission of rotation to the crossbar is carried out due to the flat end. IN different models The mounting holes for the screws are located in different places, so choosing a cylinder is extremely difficult. Such locks are mounted on the door in an overhead manner. The mechanism for connecting the security lock to the body and bolt of the DIN lock is not unified, and often its failure leads to the replacement of the entire locking device.

  • It is impractical to replace and repair cruciform larvae. Only cores from the same type of lock are interchangeable. Their burglary resistance is low, and if such a lock is installed on the doors of an apartment, it must be replaced with a more reliable one.

Cylinder locks

The cylinders for DIN standard locks can be of different designs:

  • Key-key type secret. Basic model of a secret mechanism with keyholes on both sides. The lock can only be opened with a key. In such models, if the key is inserted on one side, it will not be possible to open the lock with a key on the other side.

  • Cylinder for locking interior doors of the “key-spinner” type. In such locks, it is possible to open the door from the inside using a knob (turntable), while from the outside the lock has a regular key hole. Mechanisms of this type will be convenient for installation on front door apartments. You can open the lock from the inside in any situation (in the dark or in an emergency) without a key.

Important! If the front door was originally equipped with a regular key-key system, and opening the door from the inside with a key brings a lot of inconvenience, then it can be replaced with a key-turn model. This will make using the lock more convenient.

  • The larva is a semi-cylinder. Installed on doors where people are not expected to be on one side (storage rooms, utility rooms).

Important! RIM standard cores are similar to DIN half cylinders.

  • Cores with gear transmission of rotation from the cylinder to the crossbar. Such mechanisms are characterized by smooth operation, but due to design features, replacing a gear cylinder is more difficult than replacing a conventional core. To do this, you will have to remove the entire lock completely.

How to remove the larva yourself

If the secret mechanism has no visible mechanical damage, and it has not been broken into, then before disassembling the lock, it is first necessary to exclude ordinary contamination or drying out of the lubricant as the reasons for the malfunction of the mechanism. To do this, lubricate the secretion. There is no need to pour machine oil into the cylinder; just dip the key in the lubricant, insert it into the lock and try to turn it several times. For these purposes, you can use WD-40 liquid.

If these measures did not help, or it was decided to replace the core for other reasons, proceed to twisting the secret:

  • The cylinders for DIN standard locks are removed by unscrewing the fastening screw, the head of which is located on the front side of the lock door leaf. In some types of locks, the end plate may be covered with an additional protective plate. In this case, you need to unscrew this plate.

Important! A signal that the screw has released the secretion will be the mobility of the larva if it is loosened.

  • After unscrewing the screw, you need to turn the inner cylinder of the lock so that the rotary cam is hidden in its body. Otherwise, it will prevent the core from being removed. You can turn the cylinder using a turntable in a “spinner-key” type cylinder, or using a key.
  • After this, the core can be pulled out of the lock body.

To remove the RIM standard rim lock cylinder, the entire mechanism is completely dismantled and disassembled. As a rule, such locks are fastened with self-tapping screws through the side plate to the end of the blade and through the cover body on front side canvases.

After the lock is removed, access to the cylinder mounting screws will appear.

Choosing a new larva

The selection of a new larva is based on measurements taken from the old core.

If the door skin will not be changed, then you can use the old core as a template when purchasing a new one. If the replacement of the cylinder is accompanied by work on re-lining the door leaf, then measurements of the core length are made after completion finishing works. At the same time, the thickness of the canvas along with the cladding is measured.

Important! When upholstering fabric with leatherette and foam rubber, take into account the pressure of the front strip door handle or lining on the larva, which will press down the upholstery material. It is necessary to calculate the length of the core so that it protrudes from the door at the same level as the trim.

At different thickness cladding on different sides of the door leaf takes into account the displacement of the cylinder mounting hole for the screw from its center. If you need to buy an asymmetrical cylinder with a “key-screw” system for a door, then you need to pay attention to which side (long or short) the screw should be on.

When purchasing a secret lock in a store, pay attention to the metal from which the cylinder is made. A mechanism made of brass or steel will be reliable and durable. Store sellers can offer a cylinder made from the new TsAM alloy. This material has proven itself well, so there is no need to worry about its quality.

Installing a new cylinder in place

Installing a new secret into the lock is done in the reverse order. The rotary cam is hidden in the cylinder body. It is inserted into a hole in the lock body. By turning the cylinder with a key, find the position where the rotary cam is inside the lock body and rotates freely. After this, insert a long screw into the hole on the front plate of the lock at the end of the door and use it to catch the mounting hole in the body of the cylinder. It is possible that this will not work out right away.

After the screw goes along the thread of the mounting hole, it is tightened without strong clamping. Finally, face strips or door handles are installed.

Video of replacing the larva:

Unlike another popular group of lever-type locks, in which malfunctions of the secret mechanism require the replacement of the entire lock, in systems where the locking device is divided into two separate units, repairs can be made by replacing the core. In this case, the main locking mechanism is not affected.
