To be honest, holding such a holiday is quite difficult. Firstly, having found themselves on a picnic, the last thing children want to do is play in an organized manner - everyone has their own interesting thing to do. Secondly, organization children's party in nature requires certain physical characteristics. For example, a loud voice :-).
If you still decide to gather guests for a picnic and plan entertainment program, without having the temperament of a clown and the skills of an experienced animator, use my selection of competitions.
I chose only those games and competitions in nature that are easiest to organize (most of them can be carried out with a number of participants from 4 people).
There are only 20 ideas so far, but I plan to add more interesting competitions in nature in this article, so over time there will be many more!
Throwers and throwers :)
I like this competition for its simplicity and objectivity in identifying the winner. It is easy to determine who hit the target more times.
Options:
- At a distance of 10 child steps, hit a tree trunk with a cone. Each person has, say, 10 attempts.
- Use a stick to knock down some structure made of dry twigs (let's call it a “forest bast”).
- Place an empty pan (basin, bucket) at a distance of several steps. We compete in accuracy by throwing small rubber balls, toys or the same cones. If not empty container, we are just looking for a hole in the ground.
- Tie the rope to a horizontal tree branch so that its end reaches the ground. We tie a small bag with a ball (cones, toys) to the lower end of the rope, as long as it is some kind of harmless “weight”. The players take the “weight” in their hands and move a few steps to the side. You need to shoot down objects standing at some distance from the center. Here is the drawing.
- Another variant of the previous game. You need to choose a leader who will swing the “pendulum”, and things (bottles, juice boxes, sticks, pebbles, toys) need to be folded in the center. Players need to run up and pick up the item before the “pendulum” returns.
- Make a fishing rod. Tie a rope with a weight at the end to a 1.5-2 meter stick. With this weight you need to knock down small objects at a distance slightly greater than the length of the stick, swinging the rope.
Catch-up games
Bear
Lay out the toys, pots, bags and things that you brought for a picnic in the clearing. Place a bear in the center of this composition, at a distance of 5-7 steps, draw a line on the ground, behind which there will be a “house”. The presenter shouts: “The bear has woken up!” Children must save property and put it behind the line, and the bear can only catch the one who has nothing in his hands (at the moment when the child returns for things from the safe line). The one who collects the most things wins. And the player who finds himself in the bear’s clutches becomes a bear.
Catch-up “Short Legs”
Participants in the game will need to catch up and run away with an empty plastic bottle, squeezed between the knees.

This game will be fun in nature. Tie small balls to the players’ right ankle (a rope no more than 30 cm). Only 2 players participate in the duel. Hands are not involved, they need to be clasped behind your back. The winner is the one who manages to burst the winner's balloon with his foot. The one who wins gets a new opponent with a ball on his leg. This continues until one player remains with a whole ball on his leg.
Knight Tournament
If there is a relatively flat and not thick log, you can fight with long thin balls. The winner must stand on the beam.

Game "Steam Train with Obstacles"
Stage 1 of the game.
Between the trees at a height of 30-40 cm, stretch the rope in zigzags. All participants of the holiday stand in the train one after another, holding the waist. To the music, the first player begins to move in small steps, choosing a difficult route. You need to step over a rope, walk around a tree, and so on. It's just fun, especially if there are more than five participants.
Stage 2 of the game.
One of the players is taken aside and tightly blindfolded with a scarf. At this time, the rope needs to be removed and brought to the beginning of the route. And now the presenter tells you how to raise your leg, how many steps to take, where to turn. The player follows commands, thinking that the rope remains in place and diligently overcomes non-existent obstacles. Try it, it's fun!
Relay races:
Shashlik
Best suited for an autumn picnic as it requires fallen leaves. As usual, we divide the children into teams. We collect leaves in advance. Determine the running distance (no more than 6-7 meters). At the end of the route, provide each team with a skewer (a stick on which to string a leaf). The player runs, strings the piece of paper onto a stick, and returns to the team. The winner is the team that, naturally, will have the most luxurious kebab by the time the funny children's song ends.
Jerboa
A distance of 5-7 meters and back must be overcome by holding the ball tightly between your knees. At the same time, you can take cones, nuts or small pebbles into the “mink”. The winning team is revealed again at the end of the song.
Ember
We divide the children into two teams. We collect small pebbles or cones according to the number of participants. Small juice boxes will also work. You need to not just run and put a coal in the fire, but move, throwing the object slightly upward. This is a coal, it burns your hands! The team that finishes its fire the fastest wins.
Firefighters
A game for hot weather. Each team member has empty disposable cups. Teams need to be lined up with their right side to the direction of movement.
The last player in the line must have a full glass of water. On command, he pours water into his neighbor’s empty glass as carefully as possible, runs and becomes the first (necessarily next to the previous participant). It is the turn of the one who now has a full glass of water. He also pours it over to his neighbor. This is how you need to get to your goal. The team that will have left at the end of the relay more water, wins.

Competition "Guess Who"
Perfect for noisy and fun company. The competition goes like this. One of the guys needs to be blindfolded. Girls are hardly lined up. The guy must determine who is in front of him using any means available. Girls, in turn, are not allowed to say a word or do anything that could give them away.
All the guys are blindfolded in turn, and the girls are swapped. After all participants have voiced their answers, the number of points for each player is calculated and the winner is determined.
Then we do the opposite - we blindfold the girls.
Competition "Beer Checkers"
To carry it out, you need to draw a peculiar pattern with chalk or paint on the asphalt or grass. chessboard. In each cell you need to place a small glass of beer (for the more daring, you can put cans or bottles of beer). Of course, the packaging should be different.
The players take on a real game of checkers, where the checkers themselves are beer. And when one of the players hits the checker, he must drink its contents as a reward. You cannot refuse your prize - this is perceived as a personal insult.
DIY tent game
This game is perfect for playing somewhere in the forest. All those present must be divided into two teams and given the task of building a real hut. The time should not be stretched, but it is better to limit it to 20-30 minutes. The hut must have strong walls and a roof. Required condition– all team members must fit into it. You can use any materials - sticks, leaves... The team whose hut will be more stable, stronger and can accommodate all participants will win.
“Pass the bag” relay race

You need to prepare a small bag of peas or sand. At the venue, draw two parallel lines at a distance of 5-7 meters from each other. Or simply designate them conditionally, where two trees can become the starting point. Next, you need to divide everyone present into 2 teams. Players from both teams line up next to each other near one of the lines. The first participant is placed on his head. Players from both teams start at the same time. The participant must walk with this small bag on his head to the second line, sit down, turn around three times around his axis, return to the team and pass the bag to the next player. If the bag falls during the task, the player returns to the team and performs all the actions again. The team whose members complete the task first will win.
It is interesting to conduct a relay race when everyone present has had a little drink and it will be more difficult to complete the task.
Game "Bring it whole"
For this fun game It is necessary to divide all those present into teams of 2 people. One of them will be a cook, and the other a courier. Roles can be assigned by drawing lots. The chef's task is simple. He needs to stand with a conventional frying pan (or a real one) and wait for the courier. But for a courier the task is more difficult. He is given a spoon and a raw egg. The task is to bring the egg, lying in a spoon, which is clamped in the teeth, intact to the cook. The distance between team members must be at least 5 meters. But the more, the better. You can play it during a meal, when guests are already starting to get a little bored. All participants sit in a circle. One of the players is given a button. He puts it on forefinger. Next, he must pass it to the next player without touching this button with his hands - only from finger to finger. And so on in a circle. The participant who was unable to pass the button is eliminated. The game continues until one winner is determined.
At first glance, the game is simple, but in reality it is quite difficult to pass the button. Especially in a noisy, cheerful company that whistles and shouts trying to knock down the players and distract them.

A box of regular matches is poured onto the table. The player must take one match at a time without touching the other. As soon as a match, other than the one the player is pulling, shakes, the right to draw matches passes to another participant. And so on until there is nothing left from a handful of matches. The one who ultimately draws the most matches wins.
Competition "On the contrary"
One leader is selected. Everyone else lines up in a row. The point is to do the opposite. The leader performs a command, and the participants must repeat it exactly the opposite way. For example, if the leader lifts his left leg up, you should lower your right leg down. The participant who makes a mistake becomes the leader. But he will not be able to become a participant again. This is a knockout competition. The winner is the one who does not make a single mistake.
Game "Unusual Figure"
This game is a variation of the well-known charades. One person is selected to be the judge. All those present are divided into teams of two. One of the team members must draw a figure on the back of another participant with his finger. You can make the figure simply imaginary, or you can glue a regular piece of paper on which to draw the figure with a pen, and then simply trace its contours with your finger on the player’s back. Reporting what is depicted is strictly prohibited. Next, the participant must dance, or simply step forward, to depict this figure. All other players must guess what was depicted on the participant’s back. The team whose figure is recognized by the majority of those present wins.

This game also does not require any additional training. You just need to take an orange or an apple. The essence of the game is as follows: two teams of two people gather. Each team is given a ball. On command, players place their feet on the ball and begin to roll it. Each participant is supported from behind by a second team member. Whoever gets the ball to the finish line faster wins!
Game: three fat men
To get started you will need:

The presenter scatters matches on the ground. On command, the “fat people” begin to actively collect them, not forgetting about their stomach. It shouldn't burst! The host soon stops the game and the one who saved his belly and collected the most matches wins.
Game: air volleyball
Almost everything is like in real volleyball, only instead of a net there is a rope, and instead of a ball there are a bunch of balloons.
We stretch a rope like a volleyball net between tree trunks. Participants are divided into two equal teams. Four or five are launched onto an improvised field hot air balloon. Objective: fight off all enemy balls! Whoever's ball touches the ground loses.
Game: Balloon Adventures
In this game you will be able to test both your speed and accuracy.
To get started you will need:
- 8 plastic cups (they should all be the same size);
- water;
- ping pong balls (8 pieces);
- saucer.
To begin, we line up two rows of four cups. For the first and second player. We fill the glasses with water almost to the brim, it is important that the water level is the same. We place a saucer behind the glasses, into which we also pour a little water.
The participants' task is to move the ball from glass to cup, and then to the saucer, using their breath. Along the way, the ball should not jump out, fall or fly through the cup and saucer. If this happens, then the player starts the ball's path from the beginning. You need to blow out all four of your balloons faster than your opponent.
Game: guess the participant
As many as five people take part in this exciting game: three girls and two guys. It’s good if the participants have known each other for a long time - it will be much more interesting. When recruiting participants, the presenter hides from the others in advance that he is also choosing a second guy.
First young man blindfolded. In order to confuse the player, you can spin him in place. Then one of the girls is replaced by a guy. A blindfolded player must determine by touch (you can touch no higher than the knees) who is in front of him. Those who are being guessed cannot talk, answer questions or make other sounds that could give them away. To prevent the guy from being immediately declassified, you can wear claws or similar clothes to those of the girl he replaced.
Game: Steeplechase
A truly active running game that will excite even the laziest members of the group!
You will need:
- 8 plastic bottles;
- two sticks;
- any alcohol;
Before we start, we build in obstacle courses. On each lane we must place three bottles with a distance of a meter between each other. After the bottles, you need to install a strong stick in the ground around which the participants will run.
So, the presenter, along with mugs and alcohol, takes a place at the end of the obstacle course. On command, players take off, run around the bottle like a snake and drink half a large glass of alcohol. As soon as the glass is empty, the participants take the stick with one hand and run around it ten times, and then return to the other participants through the obstacle course, trying not to touch the bottles.
Game: more cones
This game is perfect for the whole company if the vacation spot is a forest or there are spruce and pine trees nearby. Props in in this case will not be needed, only the speed and attentiveness of the participants.
You can split into teams or play only for yourself. The presenter sets the time in a minute or less. Within a set period of time, participants must collect as many cones as possible and return to base.
To make it convenient for all players to keep track of time, instead of the loud counting of the presenters, you can play a song. But the speakers of regular phones are unlikely to be suitable for this, so it is better to use portable speakers or those in the car.
Game: join us
For the game you will need pre-prepared pieces of paper with body parts written on them. The main parts of the body can be written repeatedly, but it is worth indicating only the visible ones and those that a person can attach to another participant. For example, if you write “eye”, then it will be problematic to touch another player with the eye.
Next, all participants draw out two pieces of paper for themselves. When all body parts have been distributed, people line up in a line or in a circle. All that remains is to attach to the partner with those body parts indicated on the pieces of paper. The result can be a very interesting and funny picture!
Game: productions
It is worth preparing pieces of paper in advance with famous pairs of characters indicated on them. These can be heroes of fairy tales, cartoons, books, games and TV series.
When compiling a list, be guided not by your own tastes, but by the popularity of the selected characters. It is important that everyone present knows the characters at least a little.
For example: Tom and Jerry, Nyusha and Barash, Father Frost and Snow Maiden, Wolf and Hare, etc. Later, when you announce the game, distribute the pieces of paper to the people who were previously divided into pairs. Give them a little time to prepare the skit (while the participants are preparing, you can play something else).
When the participants are ready, they must take turns speaking in front of the company, which must guess who their friends are and what fairy tale, TV series or book they are from.
Game: collect more
To start, you will need a ball. Which one is not too important, but it is still better to avoid basketball ones. The fact is that they are quite heavy, and during the game you may have to catch the ball with your head more than once! In addition to the ball, you will need a set of some items that the participant will collect. These could be playing cards, matches or cubes.
Before starting the game, we draw a circle with a radius of approximately one meter. We put the items in a circle that the player will collect and the game can begin! The participant stands in the center, throws the ball above him and while it falls down, the player must manage to collect as many objects as possible. Moreover, you need to collect them, hold them in your hands, and preferably catch the ball with your hands. The one who holds the most items wins!
Game: tell your story
All participants must be divided in advance by gender: into a team of men and a team of women. If there are fewer guys or girls, then it's okay. Quantity in this case does not solve anything.
Both teams are given pieces of paper and pens on which they write their opinion about the opposing team. Afterwards, everything written is placed in separate containers (for example, a box, deep saucer, etc.). Now one participant from each team comes out in turn and draws out a piece of paper. His task is to compose a sentence from the words written on the sheet. There is no need to finish or interrupt the thought, because the next participant continues the story you started, but using another piece of paper. The result can be a completely funny or absurd story!
The list of outdoor activities that are suitable for a company of as many cheerful adults can be continued for a very long time, but the most famous and entertaining ones have already been named. Some of the above will definitely be suitable for your holiday!
All players stand in a circle, one from the other at arm's length. A circle is drawn in front of their socks. The driver and his defender are selected. They both go to the middle of the circle. The players' task is to hit the driver with the ball, but his defender prevents this.
