Roller shutter installation steps

First, the frame itself, consisting of guides and a box, is assembled and prepared. On the guide rails, marks are first made every 0.5 m, along which they are drilled with outside guide strips holes for fasteners. For self-tapping screws with a diameter of 4.2 mm and 6 mm, the drill diameter should be 5 mm and 6.2 mm, respectively, for dowels of 8 and 10 mm - 8.2 mm and 10.2 mm. The upper and lower holes should be no more than 150 mm from the edge of the cut. After this you need:

1. Attach the assembled frame to the installation site.
2. Using a level, check the symmetry of the opening and the correct location in space.
3. Using the holes made on the frame and tires, mark the mounting points in the frame of the opening, remove the frame and drill holes for the dowels with a hammer drill.
4. Fix the frame, observing the uniformity and tightening of the fastening elements; for this purpose, it is necessary to periodically check the correct position of the box and tires using a level and plumb line, which will prevent the box from skewing.
5. In accordance with the diagram, connect electrical control elements to the electric drive, after which elements intended for manual control are mounted.
6. Assemble the roller shutter leaf with crossbars or traction springs.
7. Fix the traction elements to the drive shaft, and insert the springs into the perforations.
8. Install stoppers that limit the extreme positions of descent and ascent.
