First, he started making a bedside table measuring 820x400x400. The frame shows sawn-off corners in the upper part of the side walls so that the top cover of the cabinet is slightly narrower than its main part. Fastenings were made with self-tapping screws. Don't forget to cut out the corners for the baseboard at the bottom of the bedside table. Next, a face strip is attached, which is attached to the dowels.

After making the cabinet, a door is made for it, the dimensions of which are 400x400 mm. Holes for the hinges are drilled with a special drill. We secure the door.

The next step is to make runners for the drawer, which will be located at the top of the cabinet. They are cut from 6 mm plywood. We attach them to the side walls of the bedside table.

The production of the box begins. It is also made from 6 mm plywood. We measure the dimensions, the desired depth of the box and attach the parts to each other. For this, wood screws were used, for which holes were pre-drilled so that the plywood would not split.

The front part of the drawer, which is made from furniture board, is attached at the very end, after it has been varnished and handles suitable for it have been purchased.

Now the lid of the bedside table is being made. It will be attached to dowels. To do this, small nails are driven into the upper end parts of the side walls, approximately 2/3 of the way. The lid is applied to the top and pressure is applied to it. This results in markings for the holes. We drill them out and attach the lid using dowels and glue. To ensure stronger adhesion, we place some weight on the lid.

Now we move on to making the next item in the hallway, also a cabinet, but with a different appearance and corresponding dimensions - 820x490x400 mm. Everyone makes the interior shelves the way they like. The location can be anything. We fasten it on the sides with self-tapping screws. The upper part of the central partition is attached to dowels. The doors are cut out and hinges are attached. Don't forget about the face strip and cuts under the baseboards.

Now the author proceeds to making a pencil case, which will have dimensions of 2000x400x400 mm. The side, top and bottom parts are cut out. Everything is attached with self-tapping screws, except for the front strip. It, as in other cases, will be attached to dowels. For strength, the structure is fastened at the corners with the corners of their plywood. The shelves located in the pencil case will lie on holders made of rivets, the upper part of which is slightly cut off. The doors are attached to 3 hinges each.

A lattice stack is made from boards. Try to position the crossbar so that you can later attach clothes hooks to it. In the design, a place is cut out for the bedside table, which the author made at the very beginning. A shelf is made at the top of the sheathing. Holders for it are made from scraps of boards. Everything is polished. The entire structure is coated with several layers of varnish. Hooks for clothes are attached.

For the hallway, you can assemble different furniture yourself. It will not only be functional, but also attractive. This could be a compartment for storing gloves, an umbrella stand, or small shelves. A mirror is often placed in any hallway. Work order:

1. The production of such a piece of furniture should begin by making markings on boards measuring 1700x400x18 and sawing out the sidewall. Then the shelf for the niche and the bottom are cut out. After which you should make a front strip, which is then secured under the bottom.
2. When the blanks are cut, holes should be made in each of them. Furniture dowels will be attached to them. Choose your own mounting locations. By the way, if there is a plinth in your hallway, then so that the cabinet does not rest against it, on its sides from below you should cut out a part that matches the dimensions of these plinths. This will place the bedside table close to the wall.
3. Now you can cut out the door. To do this, it is best to take the same board that was used for the cabinet itself. Then you need to make holes to secure the loops. For hinges, it is better to choose those that allow the door to close at the same level as the frame. It is better not to take hinges that will move the door to the side when closing.
4. Next, coat the dowels and holes for them with glue. After which you can install them in place and begin assembling the frame. When this is done, secure it with self-tapping screws. The door can then be reinstalled.
5. Now you can begin making the runners on which the drawers will be installed. They will occupy the entire width of the side. To make the runners, take a sheet of plywood and cut two pieces approximately 16mm wide. After which they should be secured inside the side of the cabinet in the place where the bottom of the drawer will be located.
6. Once the runners are in place, you can begin making the box itself. It is recommended to start by constructing the bottom, which is cut out of plywood.
7. Then you should make two side walls and one back wall from the boards. When they are cut, they are screwed to the bottom using self-tapping screws. To avoid cracks in the plywood, you should drill holes in it before screwing in the screws. All that remains is to make the front part of the drawer, which is installed at the very end of the work.
8. Finally, cut out the top of the nightstand and attach it using furniture piping.

Double door cabinet

Making such a bedside table is in many ways similar to the process of making a single-leaf bedside table. Also, the frame blank is first marked and cut out. Slots should be made on the sides that will allow the cabinet to stand flush against the wall. Next you need to make a plywood bar and a shelf. They are the same in size as in a single-leaf cabinet.

The bedside table usually has two compartments. One of them is about a quarter of the size of the structure in width, and in height it is the same as the height of the entire cabinet. The second compartment takes up the remainder. At the same time, it is divided into two parts using a horizontal shelf.

Now the bedside table can be assembled by gluing and pre-installing the dowels. After which it needs to be fastened with self-tapping screws. All that remains is to cut out and install the doors.

Wall for hangers

To make this piece of furniture you will need several boards. A manufacturing option with two blocks is described below:

1. First, the boards are placed on a plane, with a small distance between them. They should be fastened on top using a rail placed at the height at which the hooks are supposed to be fastened.
2. After this, you can begin making a shelf for hats, the dimensions of which depend on the obtained wall dimensions.
3. The finished shelf is attached with self-tapping screws. In addition, stiffening ribs should be placed on each of the two sides.
4. Finally, lean the finished wall against the place on the wall where you planned to fix it. At the same time, note how much the boards will need to be trimmed so that the structure is flush with the cabinet. It remains to shorten the wall to required sizes, and it is ready to use.

Hallway pencil case

Making such a piece of furniture is not difficult. This will require furniture board, from which the wall, bottom, front strip, cover and two rear walls should be cut out (if necessary, a part for the baseboard is cut out on them). This is necessary so that the cabinet stands flush against the wall.

Work order:

1. When all the parts are ready, you can assemble the frame. To do this, as in previous cases, you first need to coat it with a special furniture glue dowels and holes for them. After which it is recommended to install them in place and assemble the frame, securing it with self-tapping screws.
2. Now you need to cut out two doors, on each of which you need to make holes for attaching three hinges.
3. Next, you need to decide how many shelves there will be in the closet. On the sidewalls inside the product, install the fasteners at the appropriate level.

Wardrobe for a small hallway

Below is an example of assembling a cabinet that can be placed even in the hallway of a small Khrushchev building. In addition, the cabinet itself will need to be securely attached to the wall. Otherwise, it may simply collapse when the doors are opened. • For the top and bottom of the entire structure: 2 pcs. size 990x480 mm.
• For the open part shelf: 1 pc. size 380x390 mm.
• Open part back: 1 pc. size 2110x390 mm.
• For the side of the structure: 2 pcs. size 2110x460 mm.
• Sidewalls of the bedside table: 1 pc. size 400x440 mm.
• For a shelf in a closet. 1 PC. size 570x430 mm.
• Cabinet door: 1 pc. size 400x365 mm.
• To make the back wall of the structure you will need 1 piece. size 2030x600 mm.

Before you make a closet for the hallway, you should make sure that when installed in place it will not cover sockets, switches and other similar places. The structure itself is easy to assemble. To do this you will need the following tools:

1. Powerful screwdriver.
2. Several wood drills.
3. A set of fasteners (among them there should be a hexagon for confirmations).
4. Pencil.
5. Ruler for measurements.
6. Hammer.

Screeds are made on confirmations. For them, you first need to drill both into the end of the part and into the plane. Standard furniture fasteners have a size of 5 by 73 mm. The holes in the plane must be 8.5 mm in diameter and through. All markings are done depending on the number of structural parts. They may well be the sides, facades or back of the open part.

Hardboard can be secured using self-tapping screws or nailed. The first method is more suitable if you have free time. The second one should be used if there is not much time. The most important thing in both cases is to maintain the rectangularity of the structure. Otherwise, the facades will turn out to be visually unattractive. In addition, they will not be able to close properly. The above recommendations on how to make a hallway are actually nothing more than an example.
