We go to Shani's house. We find her with the Redanian soldiers, after making the antidote and their departure, we can calmly talk with Shani. She will find in the directory where the Von Everik family crypt is located, and will also promise to bring a censer from Oxenfurt. There, in Shani’s room, you can find a letter from her friend, in which Shani is invited to a wedding with her companion.


We meet with Shani at the entrance to the crypt, in the dialogue about the wedding we ask whose wedding it is and invite Shani there (there will actually be a consequence only in the dialogue). We go into the crypt and clean it out with all the goods.


We destroy a group of ghosts.


One of the walls will be fragile, we break it with Aaard, we go down into the cave, where we find a body with a key. We make our way through the tunnel, cutting up spiders and collecting swag. We find ourselves in a closed area of ​​the crypt where there is a lot of goodness.


We find a coffin, next to which a saber is fixed on a stand, we read the inscription on the coffin “Witold Von Everik”. Using the Censer (place it in the slot and press the key), we illuminate all the marked areas, then approach the altar and activate it.


The ghosts of the Everik family appear and, after a short conversation, attack the Witcher, but get hit on the head and retreat.


Then Witold himself appears. After a long conversation, he possesses Geralt. Geralt turns on again and Shani wakes him up. We tell Shani everything. They invite Witold to go to her friend’s wedding (Here there will be a corresponding comment about whether you invited Shani to the wedding or not).


At the entrance to the village where the wedding is taking place, we steal ceremonial items and go to meet the bride and groom. And then the fun at the wedding begins. First of all, we’ll find out what’s wrong with the Bride’s parents. As it turned out, the groom’s dog Demon drove the fire eater away somewhere and there will be no show without him.


We follow the Demon's trail into the forest thicket. At the broken branch, we turn right following the footprints and find the fire eater's hat.


Then we follow the sound from the tree and find a small Demon who has driven a man. Actually, be smart and convince the fire eater to go to the wedding (use Axii at the right time).


On the way back, near the river you will be attacked by a wild boar. We need to get rid of him as quickly as possible so that the fire eater does not die. Afterwards you return to the holiday.
Another interesting quest will be the pig pen. How to corral pigs at a wedding? Yes, we very simply use Axiy and go to the stall. Piggy will go after you. But the locals will miss the trick and there will be no reward. During a conversation with Shani, Witold decides to prove his charm by seducing one of the girls.


But just when she is ready to go to the barn, her brothers appear. And to the fight in the pig pen. What fun!


We go to the pier, where the young men dive into the water with their boots and girls thrown into the water.


We dive and pick up all the shoes.

The wedding is full of drinking competitions, playing gwent with lowlifes and pestering yellow berries. After the competitions in the yard, we go into the house and start dancing with Shani. At one point, the Mirror Man appears and asks to play music for Geralt and Shani. An awkward moment, Witold kisses Shani.


We approach O"Dim, when he tells that the main thing in gingerbread is time, to two women. And we listen as he begins to throw mud at and humiliate Vitold. For some reason I didn’t like him. We approach the central hall. We push the speech (or don’t push) , and the ceremony of putting on the cap begins (video), which shows how Shani gets a wreath on her head, Witold is happy and writes a letter for Olgred in Geralt’s blood. We go out into the street.


Witold refuses to fulfill the terms of the agreement and go back to the crypt. But then Mr. Mirror appears and simply by the power of thought causes hellish pain to Vitold. Br, it’s creepy how cruel this soul catcher is.... Witold is quite good guy, and this one is tormenting him.

After communicating with Shani and O'Dim, you can leave the wedding or stay by selecting the appropriate dialogue and it will begin.


After completing the romance with Shani, we go to Olgred and give the letter. He congratulates Geralt. Next wish!

The concept of modern games is simple and clear. The developers first release a “neutered” version, with a small amount of content, and then, if everything goes well, they sell add-ons for the price of a full game. In some cases, this is completely unjustified, since they involve costumes, some expanded character abilities, and other nonsense that the game already played fine without. In the next case, everything is different. We will talk about the game "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt". Hearts of Stone is an add-on that brings not only bug fixes, but also a huge amount of new content.

Plot

The main task facing our hero will be the need to deal with the tragedy of the Everek family. Here you will get acquainted with something that is very difficult to find in modern games - a real drama will unfold before your eyes.

After you install the “Hearts of Stone” patch on the Witcher 3 game, go to the “Seven Cats” tavern. Here begins a line of five main quests, for the sake of which you installed this add-on. Go to the notice board and receive the starting task - “The first shoots of evil.”

So, we are playing The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone. A start. After the video insert we go to the customer. This will be the hereditary nobleman Algerd Von Everek. Along the way, you will have to make small choices that will not affect either the game or the plot, and will only affect your mood.

We receive an order for murder and go to the well in the city center. Having gone downstairs, we meet with the already familiar Shani, who is treating a soldier. After a short dialogue, we set off to wander around the dungeon. Near the grate, knock out the dilapidated wall with the Aard sign and go down. After you have dealt with all the “drowned people”, you will find yourself in the central hall, where you will have a fight with the boss - a huge frog.

After the battle there is a short cut-scene with a sharp plot twist. And now you are already sailing on a ship, but by a “happy” accident you are wrecked. Having gotten rid of the shackles and dealt with the soldiers, we go to the meeting point in the village of Yantra. Here we will be sent to kill Algerd. The Witcher 3 (the Hearts of Stone expansion) can be quite harsh on the player, and the plot meanders from side to side, so sometimes you get the feeling that the writers themselves are confused in their ideas.

Having reached the estate, save the man from execution (maybe this will be useful to you) and engage in battle with the owner of the estate. In order to get things done quickly, use counterattacks as often as possible. After winning, your opponent will put his head back in place and a short dialogue will complete the quest.

Part 2

And then The Witcher 3 (DLC “Hearts of Stone”) presents another surprise. Our enemy again becomes a customer. At first, he will only have two quests available to him, which can be completed in any order.

“And I was there...” Your task is to cheer up the nobleman's dead brother. That's another problem. After receiving the quest, we go to Shani’s house and wait for the soldiers to leave. We talk with the girl and, if desired, find a letter with an invitation to the wedding.

The next stage is the crypt. We meet with a companion near him and offer to go to the wedding together. Inside the room we get rid of many ghosts and destroy one of the walls with Aard. Having reached the desired place, we consecrate the necessary areas with the help of a censer. We kill the ghosts that appear and make a deal with the last one - Witold. He will inhabit you and you will go to the wedding with Shani. Here you have to complete several small tasks, the completion of which will be greatly facilitated by the Axii sign.

After all the competitions we go to the house for a dance. After this, we go a little further and say (optional) a short speech. We watch a short video, after which Witold writes a letter to his brother. Now you can leave. On the street there will be another modest cut-scene and a series of dialogues. If you decide to stay at the wedding, it will begin side quest- "Clear night." The reward will be an immodest video starring Shani and Geralt.

Part 3

"Sesame, open up." This is the third story quest in The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone. Armor and obtaining it has always been one of the difficult tasks in this saga. With this DLC and the quest we're about to look at, you can get a good mid-level armor set. So, after receiving the quest, we go to the Borsodi auction house.

You will be taken there as a guest. First meet the Countess. But before that, make sure that you have a lot of money in your pocket (50-60 crowns per recipe). During the dialogue, after bargaining a little, you can buy armor plans for the Snake School from her. But only at this moment. If you want to postpone the purchase, you will not succeed.

After that, play gwent. After breaking the bank, give 10% to Vivaldi. Examine the paintings and talk to the art historian. Answer his question about the ownership of the painting. As an apology, he will suggest that you should buy Van Rogh’s painting at an auction and resell it in a bookstore in Novigrad.

The auction will begin. Buy a figurine and a painting. Glasses can be a good accessory, but they will not bring you any practical benefit. During a break, ask about the "House of Borsodi", for which you will be thrown out onto the street. After a small scuffle, a stranger will approach you and offer help. Now you have to assemble a team to penetrate the building.

  • But first, a little preparation. Brew a potion, the recipe for which will appear in your book after receiving the quest. Go to the auction house and listen to the conversations of the patrolmen by instinct. Next we go to the pier and meet the cook there. Axiem convinces him to add poison to the guards’ food.
  • Burglar. Let's go to Hugo first. From there follow the blood trail to the lake. We kill the bandits and open the letter. We dive under the water, but, unfortunately, this candidate is already dead. We go to the parking lot of the traveling circus and find Evelina there. Let's help at the performance by simply shooting the apples on the "elf's" head with a crossbow.
  • Bugbear. The choice of this assistant will have a slight effect on the further passage.
    • Kazimir is a deceived husband with horns who is planning to commit suicide. We convince him to help us with the Axiy sign.
    • Quinto - captured by our friend Hans from the town of Tsidaris. You can redeem it or win in gwent.

Now that the team is ready, it's time to start infiltrating. You are about to witness the film "Ocean's Eleven" based on the game "The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone". The School of the Snake, by the way, left its mark here too. As you complete the quest, you will be able to get her top weapon.

Lasochka is the first to climb into the tower. There will be a guard waiting for you, who shouldn't have been there - another surprise from the game "The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone". we take it from the attic and go down the stairs below. As you walk through the rooms, search all the nooks and crannies; here you can find a lot of useful trophies.

At a certain moment you will stumble upon security, and a mess will begin. Your employer will take a person hostage, and you will have to play for time. During this time, the bugbear will open the door to the treasury. After this, a small conversation will begin, during which you will learn about the reasons for the raid and who needed it.

Here you will be faced with a series of questions that the player himself needs to answer. First you will have to choose which side to take - the owner of the house or the customer. After the cutscene, you will either have to talk to the surviving brother and agree to pick up the desired box, or kill the survivor and take over all the treasures. By the way, in the chest to the left of the box there will be a diagram of the Snake School sword mentioned above.

We return to Olgerd. He will tell you full story auction house. Despite the fact that the game "The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone" has different endings, everything you choose in this quest will not affect the ending in any way.

Part 4

The last (or not?) quest that Algerd will give us is to go to his old mansion and bring the rose that he gave to his wife before leaving.

Let's go to the house. We pass along the wall to the fault and find ourselves in the backyard. We kill the key holder. It's best to hit him while he has the shovel in the ground. After winning, take the shovel and talk to the pair of demons chained to the mansion.

In the house, right next to the entrance, take the book with drawings from the table. In the chest you can find a drawing of the Banshee sword, which has the ability to drink the lives of opponents. Along the way we see the sights and pick up everything more or less valuable. Having reached the second floor, through the balcony we find ourselves in Iris’s room. She is dead.

Bury Iris, as a couple of demons will tell you, near the easel, put her drawings on the grave. A ghost will appear and take you into the woman's memories. Each time after recovering your memory, you will be attacked by various opponents.

  1. Transfer the palette of paints from the bench to the table near the painting. Give the book to the man.
  2. Pass the glass from the fountain to the woman.
  3. Light the lamps and fireplace. You can see a sample in the picture.
  4. Move the towel from the floor to a place near the bowl.

  7. There we give the marriage contract to Iris’s father, and a mug of beer to Olgerd.

At this stage, you will have the opportunity to complete the story in the game "The Witcher 3" (the "Hearts of Stone" add-on).

The final

So, you have a rose or a painting. We have already mentioned that in The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone the endings can be different, so the moment of choice is getting closer. But first we go to the Alchemy tavern to meet Olgrerd's man. Gunther O'Dim will intercept us there. After a series of dialogues, we go to the Lilvani sanctuary, where we will be told to find Shani. From her we learn that we need to find a certain professor in Oxenfurt, since he knows how to defeat the demon.

We penetrate the city with the help of Shani. Then we kill all the hunters who guard the scientist’s house. We go up the side stairs to the balcony and knock down the door with a sign. We take all the most valuable things and go downstairs. From the dialogue we learn all the details about the demon and leave. We go to Shani for another intimate conversation.

And now that same choice. We give the rose to Olgerd. A demon will appear and try to take his soul. If you do not intervene, you will receive a substantial reward of your choice and end your adventures in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (Hearts of Stone):

  • you will never go hungry
  • an endless glass of vodka,
  • horse saddle for +100 energy,
  • information about Ciri, if you have not yet completed the main story.

But if you have a sense of justice and you empathize with the deceived nobleman, then you can fight for his soul. You will be sent to another world, where you will have to solve a riddle within the allotted time. There you can also find the silver sword of the Snake School.

We run directly because there is very little time. In the mansion, look for a room with many mirrors. They will start to break, and you better go out into the garden to the fountains. There you need to find a place where the murmur of water can be heard most strongly, and break through the wall with a sign. After this, the next cutscene will begin. Algerd is free and gives you his saber.

This ends the story walkthrough. The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone also contains a number of additional quests, some of which have already been mentioned throughout the article. Now we will briefly look at them.

Already happened

Remember, while reading 3: Hearts of Stone, you might have come across a mention of a portrait of Van Rogh? In fact, this is one of the added quests that appeared after the update. In The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone, the quests are very similar to those you might encounter before the expansion was released. This one was no exception. After you start the first mission with Algerd, one of his maids will approach you and ask for help.

Go in search of her lover in the village. Deal with the ghouls and search his house. Then, following the trail of blood to the corpse of the poor young man. However, a heavy purse full of Novigrad crowns is more attractive than uncertain movable property, therefore for the witcher the reward is 450 CZK would be quite appropriate. Von Everek will agree to the amount offered by the witcher and, moreover, the offer to take something from the house will also remain in force.

Well, let’s not pull the cat by the tail, we’ll immediately move to Oxenfurt. When leaving the house, a girl of a very extravagant appearance will ask Geralt with a request.

It doesn’t hurt to use signs such as Aard and Quen, which pushes attacking spirits back and protects them from enemy attacks, respectively.
