Gypsum decorative brick is not an expensive material, you can make it yourself. It can be smooth or corrugated, white initially, can be tinted at the manufacturing stage or after installation. Ceramic decorative brick has the same properties as wall tiles with imitation. Unlike gypsum, it is not afraid of moisture, it is very strong, it is almost impossible to break it. Only porcelain stoneware material, which is used both for interior and exterior decoration, can be stronger.

The technology of working with decorative imitations depends on their type. Wallpaper is glued to flat wall using special glue, plastic panels are attached to the wall using screws, self-tapping screws or nails. Clinker, gypsum, ceramic and porcelain tiles are mounted on cement or special adhesive solution, as for any kind of tile. The use of cruciform beacons depends on whether you want to leave a distance between the "bricks", if not, the material consumption will be greater.
