A person is designed in such a way that he constantly wants to change something in the apartment, and not only by rearranging the furniture, or updating it, but also by changing the color of the interior of the room, making it not quite ordinary. An example of this is the use of olive color as a dominant or additional shade. By itself, this color is dim, even a little boring, but with a successful arrangement and combination with other colors, it can become a “highlight” in the interior of a room, making it unusual and attractive. However, you will have to take into account some features and nuances of the decor that will help make the room not only not boring, but, on the contrary, bright, colorful and attractive. We have the opportunity to look at numerous examples of how to use this color.

Olive color in the dining room

Let's look at two options for using olive color. Look at them carefully and try to understand why you prefer one of these interiors.

Olive color absorbs light, so you shouldn't do the whole room in one color. It must contain bright hues. How are these rooms different? The softness of the olive hue, the lighting, and the amount of softening white color. Therefore, the first option looks more festive and fun, but the second is not without its attractiveness. This dining room has large chandelier, which will make the room warmer, but only if warm light is used, close to sunlight, because lamps with cold light can make it gloomy.

Using the example of other rooms, we can consider in detail the change in the interior by changing the wall color to olive. Let's start with the most light shades, which least of all need their “dilution” although they are not deprived additional elements decor that is not dominant, but makes the room more comfortable.

It will also be interesting to consider how red is a color, and its shades fit harmoniously into the interior of the room, emphasizing its individuality.

Or other options for rooms with walls painted olive green.

However, you can change the look of a room not only through the walls.

Olive furniture

Olive color small hallway should not dominate, as it darkens it and creates the feeling of reducing the space, so using this color for furniture, in combination with a large amount of white, and bright lighting, allows this room to look elegant and sophisticated. Adding yellow, or in this case, orange, fits well.

Olive color in the bedroom

The bedroom deserves special attention, because the shades and combinations in the olive-colored interior bring a piece of nature into the house. For this reason, it, with all its shades, fits perfectly into the bedroom interior, since its shades make the atmosphere cozy and light, adding calm and tranquility.

It is important to consider that olive color is more applicable to a classic style than an exotic one, and therefore there is no need to overload the interior with overly bright or heavy details.

If you want to make the bedroom brighter, you can add soft pink, beige, yellow or orange. For this room, it is best to use delicate tones of both olive green and complementary colors. Do not get carried away with dark shades, using heavy curtains or drapes. Even if such blackout will save you from bright sun, then into the gloom, or dark time The situation may turn out to be gloomy.

Bath and toilet

Regardless of whether you have a combined unit or not, if you want to do something extravagant in it, you can paint the walls in light shades of purple. As you can see, even without additional lighting the room turned out to be “warm”, and if you turn on bright light, it softens the atmosphere even more, making it more attractive.

For lovers of dark tones, you can consider painting the walls of the toilet in a dark shade of olive green with the addition of lighter decorative elements.

Kitchen

Of course, you want your kitchen to remain fresh after renovation for as long as possible. Olive color will help with this, as it is practical. Whether it's walls, floors, or furniture, crumbs, stains, and drops that appear on them will be less noticeable. But, if the question was only a matter of practicality, then it is unlikely that olive color would be popular. To create a calm atmosphere and a non-distracting background in the kitchen, the number of bright and contrasting details should be minimized, and if there is a desire to enliven this room, then their number should be increased. An example of this approach can be seen in the construction of kitchen designs, starting with the more strict (from left to right).

No matter what shade of olive you choose, remember to strike a balance between dark and bright colors to achieve a good combination for your space. Don't forget that the appearance of a room changes depending on the lighting, and what was done in bright sunlight may look unattractive and even repulsive in the evening (or vice versa). The right approach, plus a flight of design ideas, can change in better side interior of any room.

You can talk at length about canons in design, but every day the existing canons are becoming less and less stable. Aesthetics and harmony, balance, colors, materials brought together in order to obtain such a long-awaited result are the essence of your knowledge, practice and self-development. My motto is to learn, see, touch something new every day, and I am sure that this is the only way to stay on the right course in “high design.”

Olive color was gifted to humanity by Mother Nature. Its appearance is a bizarre mixture of green, gray and yellow. For its versatility, versatility and comfort, it is beloved by designers. How to use olive color in the interior of the kitchen, nursery and living room, what to combine with and how to play with it - let’s look for answers to these and many other questions together.

Psychology of shade

Olive is a representative of the palette of unabashed green, which is characterized by the freshness and enthusiasm of youth. It represents the brightest side of life. Rich dark shades evoke reflections and thoughts about acquired wisdom.

It is believed that the colors of the green spectrum are inextricably linked with the concepts of fidelity and mutual understanding. A single glance at them creates a feeling of security, of finding solid ground under your feet.

Natural olive color is characterized by a certain conservatism, which is why it is chosen by people who are confident in their capabilities and walk monumentally on the path of life.

So, if you have decided that olive color must certainly become part of your interior, let’s move on from psychology to practical design.

Olive color: adaptation in the interior

It would be fair to say that olive color is quite complex and should be used purposefully; it does not accept random color juxtaposition. I would call him the best solution to emphasize the atmosphere of antiquity and the nobility of the classics.

A monochrome olive interior is depressing, so you will have to find suitable color companions for it.

Olive is a natural color, so it is better to look for its “brothers” in the same natural shades, symbolizing, for example, young grass, the color of the sky or fallen leaves. Remember that the birth of a color duet is influenced by the location of the room, its purpose and area.

An excellent combination is formed with white and chocolate brown; these colors can even be used together. White will successfully relieve your interior from dryness.

If this combination seems too contrasting to you, choose a softer tone from the caramel palette. IN in this case the colors will smoothly “flow”, creating an atmosphere of home comfort.

Olive walls in the interior of a living room or kitchen can be diluted with bright accents of carrot, brick, red, orange and rich yellow. Floral colors with elements of mustard, turquoise and burgundy will be relevant.

Lighting principles

When choosing olive as the main color, it is important to remember that it shades the room and gives some gloom. This feature can be eliminated with well-chosen accessories and lighting. Let's talk about the latter.

There must be a sufficient number of lighting fixtures with white light. Slight yellowness or blueness of the light source can completely distort the olive color.

Don't limit yourself to the classic one, add directional spots to it, spot lighting and wall sconces.

Choosing accessories and furniture

  1. If olive-colored wallpaper in the interior seems too drastic and pretentious to you, choose furniture and accessories in this shade. For example, olive curtains will allow you to create cozy corner for reading books, and the sofa bedspread will emphasize the sophistication of the furniture.
  2. Olive-colored furniture can often be found in the kitchen with light walls . Such a duet - perfect solution For classic style, Provence and country style.
  3. If your goal is a discreet, solid interior, purchase dark furniture, expressively contrasting with the olive background. And now you have a ready-made solution for the art deco style.

I recommend using furniture with light facades and olive wall decoration for small rooms and furnishing areas from which you need to divert attention.

Olive interior

A word about the kitchen

Olive belongs to the category of non-staining colors, so it can often be found in kitchen design. In most cases it is combined with brown shades or diluted with a small number of contrasting accessories.

The first design is an example of a classic, peaceful environment, the second is an interior filled with the dynamism and liveliness of newfangled styles.

In conditions small kitchen I would advise combining an olive set with brown countertops and light gray wall trim. No less attractive is the duet of olive finishing with a set of baked milk color. For the latest interior, it is important to use bright accents, for example, an orange tablecloth, a wall painting in bright colors, a clock in an unusual, attractive color.

Living room design

Most often, olive is the priority choice for a living room in a classic style. The prim equanimity and elegance of classicism will not tolerate color contrasts and bright finishes. The main tone is not diluted with flashy shades, leaving it muted.

To give your living room depth, use wallpaper with a light three-dimensional structure or a sophisticated, delicate milky pattern.

Bedroom interior

For the bedroom, I recommend diluting olive with mustard and brick-colored accessories. In addition, when decorating walls from the entire spectrum of olive, choose the lightest one, which allows you to create an environment conducive to relaxation.

The bedside rug, lampshade and curtains can be light green or milky.

Bathroom

Unfortunately, olive tiles in the bathroom are an infrequent guest. Rooms in light olive tones will look quite original, provided proper organization lighting.

IN small spaces do not try to focus on contrasts, otherwise the bathroom will lose volume.

Olive nursery – to be or not to be

One can debate for a long time about the appropriateness of olive in a nursery. On the one hand, children do not understand his restraint and nobility, on the other hand, you will cultivate good taste in your child from childhood.

Having chosen it as the main color, do not forget about bright accents and details - this will be the golden mean between the desires of adults and children.

About the hallway

Due to the fact that hallways in most cases have small area and poor lighting, do not use olive as the dominant shade. An exception to this rule is the Venetian decorative plaster, which, thanks to its reflective surface, visually expands the space.

Examples of finished projects

Discreet neoclassical

  • The design was carried out in an open-plan room with two bathroom zones. The main drawback is the two columns, which in fact turned out to be load-bearing wall between the kitchen and living room. That is why they could not be combined into a single space.
  • Olive was chosen as the main color, since the task was to create a calm interior in delicate shades.

  • The living room was combined with a large loggia, due to this it was possible to create a fairly spacious office with beautiful view from the window. For zoning, thick curtains are used, which allow you to completely separate the space.

  • The office area had to be light, but self-sufficient in terms of textile design, so a lambrequin was hung above the window, along the bottom of the tulle there was a piping, repeating the pattern of the living room curtains.

  • Above the sofa, lithographs purchased in England found their home. It was thanks to them that the interior acquired a colonial hue.
  • I decided to upholster the sofas with velvet with a very interesting worn effect. This allowed them to find " mutual language» with olive-colored furniture: wardrobes, entrance portal and TV stand.
  • Oak wood is laid on the floor parquet board in a natural shade. Wall decoration - textile natural wallpaper from matting. The baton of naturalness was taken up by curtains made of wild silk and cotton, whose texture is similar to matting on the walls.
  • Velvet in two colors was used for the upholstery of the chair: the front part of the back and seat are decorated to match the tone of the sofa cushions, the back part repeats the shade of the sofa. Desk lamp, the chandelier and sconce are united by a brass theme, although they are different from each other.
  • From the living room you enter the hall, from here you can access the hallway and the kitchen. Opposite is located, which leads to the bedroom, bathroom and children's room.

  • On the left in the hallway there is a built-in wardrobe with sliding mirror doors. Opposite the closet is the door to the second guest bathroom; in order to save space, a “compartment” structure was installed, which goes into the wall when opened.
  • The guest bathroom, despite its modest size, was able to accommodate a cabinet, toilet, sink and shower. A special design highlight is the wall-hung sink with a forged base, which is used as a convenient shelf for towels. In addition to tiles, the shower room decor uses striped wallpaper with a moisture-resistant coating, making it invulnerable to moisture.

  • The main color of the kitchen is soft sandy olive with dark accents. I decided to place part of the countertop and sink by the window. Why? The whole point is that for kitchen set Only one wall was allocated, which was catastrophically insufficient, since a refrigerator and oven were located there.
  • Floor finishing – tiles, walls – textile wallpaper creamy shade. The dominant feature of the dining area is a spectacular black chandelier, adding originality and brutality to the interior. So that the chandelier is not alone in its color scheme, dark accents are chosen for the edging on the curtains, kitchen countertops and tiles. In the kitchen I abandoned the door; the entrance is decorated with a portal.

  • The bedroom walls are finished paper wallpaper with floral print. The floor is covered with natural coarse knitted sisal. An additional accent was given to the window, for which a niche with a decorative cornice was built.
  • On the other side of the bed is the entrance to the balcony. The latter contained an armchair with a table and a wardrobe. During its arrangement, the window sill block was demolished, the opening was slightly widened, the result was an impressively sized French door with a transom to the floor.

  • New windows have been installed in the bedroom, matching the concept of classics. The bedroom received special comfort through the use of various fabrics. Roller blinds are made of linen with embroidery, classic curtains are made of corduroy, curtains are made of checkered cotton. This kind of multi-layered decor with a mixture of colors and textures has become an accent in the design of windows.
  • You may be surprised, but there is no chandelier in the bedroom. Lighting is achieved through small ceiling lamps, several sconces and a table lamp.
  • The highlight of the custom-made bed is the headboard, made of natural wool in a salmon shade, which goes well with olive.
  • The main bathroom uses different types of wallpaper and tiles, creating a play of textures and colors. It was decided to use wallpaper not only in the upper half of the walls, but also when decorating the inside of the door.

  • Near the sink, built-in cabinets find their home, the inner surface of which is decorated with the same wallpaper. All plumbing communications are covered with an antique cabinet.

  • The children's area is only 12 m², but this space was enough to accommodate a large built-in bookcase, freestanding wardrobe, desk and custom bed.

  • It was possible to free up space for a play area by arranging a niche in which the bed was located. The bottom of the structure is equipped with several drawers, and the bed itself is equipped with an imitation canopy.

  • Wall decoration - elegant floral wallpaper in combination with striped inserts. The latter are also used in decorating the inside of bookcases.
  • wallpaper – Thibaut;
  • ceiling decor – Orac Decor;
  • cornices – Europlast;
  • table lamps, sconces, chandelier – Artemis;

A corner of old England

The abode of a true gentleman is noble textures and colors, natural durable materials. The unsightly “box” in the new building acquired an interior with the author’s signature, elements of the English, classical and art deco styles of the 1920s.

The apartment was divided into two large areas - private and guest. All rooms are decorated with natural materials(wallpaper, plaster), laid on the floor Oak planks, forming a diagonal pattern and adding dynamics to the room.

For the walls, I used complex tones that created a clear and expressive background - blue-gray, olive-gray, light brown and turquoise.

The living room furniture is represented by deep soft sofas, library shelving and comfortable pouf, which plays the role coffee table or extra space for guests. Swivel-type lamps are built into the upper shelves of the cabinets.

Behind the doors is the private part of the apartment: dressing room, master bedroom, guest room and bathrooms.

The kitchen island allowed us to zone the space and separate dining area from the working part. Turquoise tiles used in decoration kitchen apron, echoes the red tiles in the fireplace surround.

Window textiles were chosen to match the walls. The shades used and the chameleon fabric changes shade slightly depending on the lighting. The latter is realized through massive industrial-style lamps. The dining area is illuminated by a large lamp with a white lampshade.

The main character of the living room is the original fireplace portal, the back wall of which is lined with lingonberry-colored tiles, the wall behind the fireplace is covered with wallpaper imitating carved caissons. A convex mirror in a vintage style took over the baton of the optical game.

English notes can also be seen in the hall, the floor of which is laid with geometric tiles, and the end is decorated with an engraving. I diluted the beige and brown restrained palette of the bathroom with an unusual tile pattern.

The main color of the bedroom is gray-beige. Spacious closet it is practically invisible to things, since its facades are painted in the color of the walls. On both sides of the bed there are decorative screens with old maps.

An apartment with a sense of humor, frogs and robots

Most often, when it comes to a bachelor’s apartment, we imagine something modern and strict - with laconic decoration, leather furniture, a couple of harsh accents in the “face” brickwork or concrete wall.

I hasten to introduce you to an apartment that completely destroys the stereotypes described above. Her character was created by ironic details, bright colors and style mix.

A typical Soviet interior with carpets, lacquered sideboards and dull decorations has been transformed into an eclectic-style studio.

According to the owner himself, the main thing in the apartment are frogs, a gigantic collection of which he has been collecting for several years. Unusual wildlife greets guests from the entryway with a bright red door complementing the olive and white trim.

The wall color is pastel green-lavender, inspired by the works of favorite artists. Classic finishes are given an eclectic touch with decor such as American steampunk clocks and robots.

The studio is intended not only for living, but also for work of the owner, therefore special attention The issue of lighting required. I placed floor lamps wherever a temporary work area for a creative person could be created. All light sources are equipped with dimmers that allow you to adjust the degree of illumination.

Furniture is a symbiosis of custom-made and mass-produced models. The owner of the apartment created the sketches of the coffee table, console for the living room, ottomans and whatnot with his own hands.

The bedroom is decorated in retro style. A classic IKEA bed has been given a vintage touch, complemented by restored antique furniture. bedside tables. A robot painted in oil, the work of artist Alexander Burov, looks thoughtfully into the distance from the wall. Found my refuge in the corner of the bedroom mirror cabinet IKEA, which visually increased the area of the room.

The kitchen is one of the main rooms for the owner, so cheerful, rich green tones were chosen for decoration. Instead of classic table, a structure has been installed that has common features with a bar counter.

Particular attention was paid to the textile design of the windows; the choice was made in favor of Roman blinds with simple geometric and striped patterns. The dishwasher was hidden behind thick black fabric, which at first glance looks plastic construction. The pattern of the kitchen facades was repeated on the lattice door.

The owner of the apartment liked the country solution in the form of a mini-curtain so much that it was decided to place another one to hide the radiator in the bathroom.

The blue and white interior of the bathroom is not inspired by the sea, but by the Babylonian gate of the goddess Ishtar, which is kept in the Pergamon Museum in Berlin.

Conclusion

Olive is the color of calm interiors in classical, neoclassical, victorian style, chalet and country style. It successfully combines with natural tones and bright accents, it exudes warmth and comfort. What do you think about the use of green shades in the interior? Striving for fashionable and interesting solutions In the interior design of an apartment, you can implement olive color as both the main and secondary shade of your room. Olive color is quite calm and moderate. This is why you should take this into account when drawing up a sketch of the decor of your room.

One of important rules: You should not do the entire room in olive color, as the color will absorb light and the interior will be dark, dull and heavy.

To somehow brighten up the shade of olive color we need:

  • Use brighter and lighter shades of decor.
  • Try to choose the light so that your interior becomes elegant and fashionable
  • Lighting close to sunlight is ideal, alternatively it could be a floor lamp.

Furniture color: olive

Dark furniture looks opposite (for example: black - white) against the background of olive walls, giving some solidity and elegance to your room. This style is suitable for lovers of classics and such trends as art deco.

Milky or beige (light) furniture enlivens olive walls and makes the interior cheerful and pleasant. Can be used both in the bedroom and in the living room and in different living areas.

Light wood furniture harmonizes cool with the olive background. This color combination is perfect for small apartments or rooms of any style where less attention is required.

Olive-colored facades are used extremely rarely, but they can become excellent option in and in the design of the kitchen set.

Pros of olive color

  • The white and olive interior is perfect for any room. The combination of these colors will harmonize and complement each other.
  • Olive walls are a decorative element that looks great with or milky brown. However, to highlight these colors we will need furniture in dark colors.
  • For those who like something non-standard, you can try a combination of colors such as pink and red, light green and blue.

Color in the interior - conclusion

Olive living room photo

Decorating an olive living room.

We have already mentioned above that this color can visually darken rooms, so when using it there are two fundamental directions: thoughtful, excellent lighting of the room or the active use of accompanying white tones.

What does smart lighting mean? First of all, big panoramic windows, secondly, volumetric ceiling chandeliers and many spotlights, i.e. You need to brighten the room as much as possible. With the point regarding the use of white tones, in general, everything is clear; if the walls are olive green, then the furniture, curtains or decorative elements can be light. Probably everyone knows about the ability of white color to “push” boundaries, but in the case of an olive living room it is still better to use it as an accompanying color; it can be present in the decoration of accessories, furniture, partly in the decoration of walls, as a highlight of certain areas.

Floor. The floor surface can be covered with beige laminate, light tiles, snow-white self-leveling flooring, and also covered with gray, beige or green carpet.

Walls. Most often, olive tone is used in wall decoration; besides, against its background, snow-white ceiling skirting boards. The walls can be covered with plain wallpaper, also textured or with ornaments - ornate patterns, floral prints or alternating stripes.

Ceiling. It is better to make the ceiling light, this way you can lighten the rich shade of the walls, which regarding materials - it could be drywall, stretch fabric or mirror ceiling tiles.

Olive living room furniture.

A living room in olive tones, with the main shade of walls made in olive color, can be complemented by sofas and armchairs in the following colors: brown, black, beige, gray or white. If the walls are painted in a neutral beige tone, then the upholstered furniture should be olive or combined. Also, we must not forget about olive accessories: curtains, vases, pillows, picture frames, figurines, blankets, floor carpet, flower pots, floor lamps, wall lamps, ceiling chandeliers, wall shelves etc.

Olive wallpaper for walls is a unique option for decoration, because this color includes several tones of different saturation: green, yellow, gray and beige. The complexity of this shade does not affect the process of interior decoration: on the contrary, working with such wallpaper is very easy and interesting, and numerous ones will allow you to achieve absolutely any effect.

Decorative characteristics of olive shades

Before you begin developing your future design project, it is worth considering a number of features that olive colors have. The perception of this shade is influenced by many factors, so you should take care in advance to ensure that this color reveals itself exactly as needed in your room.

Let's talk about the properties of olive wall coverings:

Advice: so that the olive walls in the interior do not draw attention, with unusual design or shape, and also think about what shades will help get rid of the excessive dullness and gloom of this tone. For example, glass and metal elements, and wooden items furniture will cope with this task perfectly.

Despite its versatility and ease of use, olive tone should be present in the interior only in combination with other shades.

A monochromatic olive interior without accents of a different color will not give you a positive feeling. Therefore, it is worth considering in advance what shades you can choose to match such wallpaper.

Choosing shades to combine

Many people try not to use olive-colored wallpaper for walls because they believe that interiors made in this color look dull and boring. If you also want to create a more lively and colorful environment, do not rush to choose wallpaper of a different palette.

Olive wall coverings harmonize perfectly with many shades:

Olive color cannot be called capricious: by choosing the right wallpaper tones and optimally arranging lighting sources, you can ensure a harmonious perception of any combination.

Olive tones with bright accents and even details of dark shades, but it is extremely important to maintain proportions: dark colors in an interior with an olive background there should not be too much. As is known, olive wallpaper absorb color, so it would be preferable to use wallpaper and interior details in pastel colors.

Decoration of different rooms

Living room in olive color

Olive color is rarely used in the hall and living room. Bright colored inserts in this type of living room will create an imbalance, so it is unlikely that it will be possible to revive such an environment.

In modern trends, wallpaper of this color emphasizes severity and a calm atmosphere: minimalist interiors in a light olive tone will be perceived harmoniously, but you will have to forget about the solemnity of such a living room.

Advice: One of the few ways that allows you to liven up the living room in olive color is to use wallpaper with a relief texture.

Thematic relief scenes on wall coverings, as well as small splashes of bright colors in the form of floral and abstract compositions will help you prioritize the accents of the room.

Despite the possibility of using bright textiles, stylized furniture and other interior details that make the living room more lively and rich, this olive-colored room will always be perceived strictly and neutrally.

If you are not ready for such a design, give preference to richer shades.

Bedroom interior

In the bedroom, the olive color will reveal itself much better than in other rooms: the interior of this room is exactly what it suggests creating an atmosphere of restraint, calm and harmony. But experts recommend using only olive color as a background color and choosing with a minimum of bright colors.

A bedroom decorated in combinations will look cozy and harmonious natural shades: A spectrum of olive, green, beige, blue and light brown can be present not only on the walls, but also in furniture and accessories. Curtains, bedspreads, pillows and other details can be made brighter: they will dilute the neutral atmosphere.

A bedroom intended for a child may include walls in olive shades, but Such wallpaper should not be used everywhere in a child’s room. This shade is considered quite “grown-up”, so it may appear unnatural in a child’s room. However, splashes of soft olive in the sleeping area, as well as bright inserts close to green in the play area, will appeal to both parents and children, and will look quite harmonious in combinations with other colors.

Advice: olive color, according to psychologists, promotes relaxation, the formation of a calm character and the development creativity, therefore ideal for the younger generation.

Wall decoration in the kitchen and dining room

Olive wallpaper in the kitchen can be useful not only aesthetically, but also practical point vision: against such a background, dirt will not be noticeable, and during the cleaning process there is no risk of color loss. Muted olive shades can be present in the cooking area, where they will help concentrate on the cooking process.

Since the color scheme of a room affects appetite, It’s better to “dilute” olive wallpaper with bright inserts or accessories. The most suitable shades for such an interior are brown, beige, yellow, orange and others.

Olive wallpaper for the kitchen, and especially monochromatic coverings, will harmoniously combine with both dark and light furniture.

A kitchen in the Provence style, as well as classic and hi-tech, looks best with olive wallpaper.

Stylized accessories, as well as correctly selected shades of textile paraphernalia, will allow you to emphasize the elegant design of the olive kitchen.

Curtains for olive interiors

Which olive colors will look most harmonious in the interior? Since rooms with olive background shades look calm and peaceful, textiles in the interior can emphasize this idea.

Light and airy fabrics in light shades will ensure the creation of a holistic environment symbolizing tenderness, peace of mind and comfort. Such curtains are suitable for the interior of a bedroom, nursery, or living room.

To decide which curtains should be combined in the interior with olive wallpaper, you need take into account the style of your room. For example, vintage designs like classic or romanticism require the use of neutral shades, so bright fabrics will be considered a disadvantage here. Curtains and curtains in gold, mustard, green, beige, white, brown, gray and pale blue will fit into such an interior.

Curtains for olive wallpaper in modern interiors may be more cheerful. Not only here bright fabrics are allowed(red, orange, lemon and other colors), but it is also possible to use patterned textiles.

Remember! Any bright color, present in olive interior, should be repeated in several details: for example, patterned textiles can be used not only for window decoration, but also as upholstery for furniture or pillowcases for decorative pillows.

Today create the perfect olive design It’s not difficult: in the photo with olive wallpaper you can see a wide variety of interiors in several styles. Thanks to the possibility of almost any color, olive wallpaper is becoming increasingly popular, and in your room they will also look impressive, harmonious and homely.
