Modern interior in the house

Basic principles modern interior are:

  • sharp lines;
  • sophistication;
  • simplicity.

The main thing in a modern interior is space, and not things, as in many other styles.

As for color, it is better to use white, black and neutral shades, they are the main ones. Often, bold and bright colors can break up a palette.

Geometric and even shapes are of great importance for furniture. Often furniture for modern interiors is monochromatic. The main rule is that the furniture should not be bulky, there is no need to use various decorations and intricate lines.

Home interior: which room should you pay special attention to?

When the main interior has been chosen, it is worth taking a closer look at the interior of each room so that it best suits the idea of the whole house.

The kitchen is one of the central places in the house. This is where the whole family spends a considerable part of their time. Therefore, it is important to make the kitchen as functional and comfortable as possible. Such a room should not only be comfortable to sit in, it should also be easy to cook here.

The design of this room is thought out to the smallest detail. Of course, it is better to leave such an activity as kitchen furnishings to professionals, but if this is not possible, then a do-it-yourself design can also please you. Remember that the kitchen should have enough space for comfortable movement, and workplace should be as functional as possible.

Before you start creating a bathroom design, you need to decide on the color, which is the basis of such an interior. Specific Requirements There are, of course, options to choose from, but basically it all depends on taste. Alternatively, the chosen color can be harmoniously combined with the color scheme of the entire house. Then pastel shades such as pink, beige, milky and blue are best.

In order to create an atmosphere of luxury in the room, you need to use details with a bronze finish or gilding. The most popular design option is the classic one, which has not lost its position for many years in a row.

Bedroom design

Most important elements in this room are:

  • lighting;
  • furniture and its proper arrangement;
  • color design;
  • details;
  • layout.

The placement of windows is incredibly important, so this detail must be taken into account when planning.

Children's design

Interior of wooden houses: how not to go wrong with your choice?

Wooden and environmentally friendly houses are becoming increasingly popular, making them an incredibly popular segment of the design market.

In order to get a truly high-quality design, you need to think about large quantities little things that will ultimately be a component of the success of a quality interior wooden house. Such a small detail can be considered, for example, engineering systems running either inside the house or outside, as well as heating.

Lighting a wooden house is an extremely important issue, so it needs to be thought through very carefully.

Some types of wood can darken over time, making your home appear darker every year. In order to preserve the characteristics of a wooden house, it is necessary to impregnate the wood with appropriate substances.

Attic decoration

Creating an interior in a room that is located under the very roof is not an easy task. This is due to the slopes of the roof and rather low ceilings. A little imagination and good taste can turn your attic into an original and very cozy place, in which you will spend time with pleasure.

In many ways, the interior design of this room depends on the roof in the house, or more precisely on its type. A sloping ceiling suggests that furniture must be placed in the room in accordance with the rules to make it as comfortable as possible.

In addition, in the attic, rooms are decorated according to their purpose; it could be an office, a bedroom, or perhaps a cinema room. Everything as you wish!

Interior of a room with a fireplace: comfort in the flickering fire

The fire of a fireplace can make a person forget about worries and clear his mind. That is why quite often fireplaces are installed in houses or even apartments, which bring real comfort to the house.

Most often, this piece of furniture is installed in the living room, but, in fact, it can be installed in any room of the house. A fireplace in the bedroom will allow you to fall asleep with pleasure.

Modern technologies make it possible to do almost everything, so fireplace designs are surprising in their diversity. Therefore, before the final choice of a fireplace, you need to determine the function that it will play. If you need a fireplace for heating, then you need to choose a real fireplace that is lit manually. But if a fireplace is needed only for aesthetic pleasure, then you can prefer a fictitious fireplace, in which a special screen is installed instead of a fire.

Exterior house design: basic rules

A beautiful house both inside and outside is more a reality than a dream if you know a few rules. To decorate such a house you can use various materials, such as plaster, lining (for example, made of natural wood), artificial or a natural stone.

Some can perform not only design functions, but also insulate the house from the outside.

In order to create comfortable living conditions and at the same time maintain aesthetic functions, you can use thermal panels - modern material, gaining popularity recently.

Courtyard design in a private house: main principles

Before you begin landscaping the area near your house, you need to imagine the overall picture that should appear in the end. What exactly do you want to place on such a picturesque piece of land?

Most often, the following elements are present in the yard:

  • terrace;
  • bath;
  • garage;
  • summer cuisine;
  • Summer shower;
  • utility rooms;
  • dog enclosure;
  • tracks that are successfully combined into one ensemble;
  • various green spaces;
  • playground.

The first thing you need to do is install all the premises, and then start working on the fountains and various green spaces.

We design the interior ourselves

The services of a designer in interior design are quite often expensive, so most people are looking for a way to design the design themselves. And, I must say, this does not present any particular difficulties, the main thing is to understand the basic principles of such a process..

The main thing in design is to have an idea in which you can realize all your desires. In addition, you need to choose a program in which you can easily bring the project to an ideal state.

Modern construction and finishing materials, raw materials for the manufacture of furniture and decorative elements allow us not only to decorate our home for a comfortable and functional use, but also to realize their cherished design ideas. A private house these days it is not only walls and a roof, it is a whole world for its owners, a reflection of their view of aesthetics, practicality, functionality and beauty. The experience accumulated by designers over long years the existence of such a concept as “creating an interior design” allows us to create original or traditional, practical or luxurious, avant-garde or minimalist - any options for decorating our homes, depending on the desire and means. But in the variety of ways to create a modern, stylish and at the same time practical design for a private home, it’s easy to get confused. We offer you a small collection of practical and effective advice who can help with the design of modern private apartments. The designers' recommendations are, of course, not a dogma, but they can help you make your own decisions on choosing a home design concept, decide on a color palette and style, place accents and ultimately create the interior of your dreams.

Current ideas for creating a modern private home design

1. Combination of functional segments. Connecting several zones within one room does not lose its popularity. In private houses, this design technique has become no less widespread than in apartments. Combining several functional segments in one room allows you to maintain space and freedom of movement even in small spaces. As a rule, such studio rooms have high level natural light - two or more large windows, in some cases glass doors(exit to the backyard). Combined spaces are also convenient from the point of view of operation and cleaning.

Most often, functional areas such as the living room, dining room and kitchen are combined. The location of these three important life segments under one roof allows you to create a convenient practical point view of the furnishings and a beautiful, bright and spacious room with high aesthetic qualities. With the help of modern household appliances, having high power, But low level noise generated, organization of workers kitchen processes does not interfere with relaxation in the living room segment or eating in the dining area.

But it’s not just the kitchen, dining and living room segments that need to be combined. For example, the workplace can be located within the living room or bedroom. It’s rare that a house has a separate room for an office (unless the main work of one of the household members takes place in home office). It is also rare that private apartments have the opportunity to allocate a separate room for a library; as a rule, bookshelves and cabinets are placed in the living room or bedroom (depending on the size of the premises and the personal preferences of the owners).

2. Plain wall decoration is a current idea for decorating rooms. IN modern design projects It is becoming increasingly rare to see the use of wallpaper with a pattern for wall decoration, unless this print imitates concrete wall, brick or masonry. Plain finishing materials have become undisputed favorites. And it's not just that for small rooms This approach to wall decoration is preferable - light, neutral colors help to visually enlarge the space. Even in fairly spacious rooms, designers recommend using a single-color finish. Material with a print, pattern or ornament is used only to decorate accent walls or even their individual sections.

This trend is only beneficial for those who are not yet confident in their abilities and capabilities in the field of decorating their own home. The light, neutral tone of the finish is the ideal tone for any furniture and decor. You don't have to rack your brains over color combinations, combining shades. Even the upholstery of furniture pastel colors looks expressive on a white background, not to mention darker or brighter colors.

Usage design technique The “accent wall” has not lost its popularity, it has simply undergone some modifications. If earlier in the design projects of living rooms, bedrooms, and even children’s rooms and dining rooms, one could find the use of two types of wallpaper from the same collection, which ideally complemented each other, then in modern versions In the design of these rooms, various imitations are increasingly found. An accent wall is a brick or stone surface finished with wood or ceramic tiles or mosaics. You can create an imitation using decorative plaster, textured or liquid wallpaper, wall panels, laminate.

So, finishing materials in a modern interior should have the following qualities:

  • be environmentally friendly, safe for humans and the environment;
  • let air through if possible;
  • be easy to install so that finishing can be done independently;
  • be unpretentious in maintenance - surfaces in rooms with high humidity and the level of possible contamination must withstand cleaning with household chemicals and not lose its aesthetic properties;
  • should be easily combined with each other.

3. Bright, original furniture- interior accent. Considering the fact that the main trend in room decoration is neutrality, the use of plain, light materials, the role of accent elements goes to pieces of furniture. This trend is used most clearly in bedroom interiors - the bed in such rooms most often acts as the only accent design item. Not only the design of the bed itself, but also its textile design becomes a priority.

In living rooms, dining rooms, offices and libraries of private houses, upholstered furniture plays the role of accent elements. At the same time, bright, variegated or contrasting dark color upholstery of upholstered furniture may be present in more than one piece of furniture. For example, in the living room, two sofas facing each other can be made in different but equally accent colors.

4. Storage systems – rational use of space. In modern design projects, you can increasingly see storage systems located from the ceiling to the floor. This approach allows you to make maximum use of the available space. In kitchens we see the top tier of cabinets suspended right up to the ceiling (it often has two levels, different in depth). Of course, for daily use the most top level not suitable, it is simply inconvenient for a person of average height to get household items from the top shelves. But from the point of view of storing utensils that are used infrequently, this approach helps to relieve storage systems in other rooms, and to keep the kitchen itself in order.

If we talk about storage systems in living rooms, they are divided into two types - built-in shelving with open shelves and low modules with facades. Used for framed books, documents and photos. open shelves, for everything else that the owners would like to hide from the eyes of guests, compact chests of drawers with drawers, low modules with hinged or sliding doors.

5. Lighting devices – diffused or local lighting. No matter the size of the room in a modern private house, it rarely costs only one source artificial lighting. After all, a lighting system is not only the ability to illuminate one or another part of the room, but also the ability to create a certain atmosphere, zoning space or highlighting particularly significant segments. Well, when combining several in one space functional zones(studio room), a lighting system must be present in each.

One central chandelier is never enough in a bedroom. Even if you do not have the habit of reading before bed, lighting from local sources (wall sconces, table or floor lamps) in the bedroom is simply necessary - to create a certain atmosphere in preparation for bed. Even in a small living room it is not enough ceiling lamps. Floor lamp or a table lamp is needed in a soft seating area, a reading corner or near a coffee table.

6. Textile design – laconic design. Speaking of drapery window openings, then designers recommend using the simplest textile solutions in form and execution. Traditional curtains - straight canvases that fall from the ceiling to the floor in uniform vertical folds, can be used either alone or in company with a translucent veil (most often plain and smooth).

Another current method textile window decoration in modern interiors of rooms with a variety of functional purposes - the use of fabric roller blinds (Roman, textile blinds, Japanese screen curtains). The design of vertical panels that are just wide enough to cover the window opening and can be assembled into evenly distributed horizontal folds is ideal for the laconic mood of modern rooms.

If we talk about another option for using textiles for decorating a room, then the most striking and accentuated is the use of sofas and other decorative pillows. This is the simplest, fastest and inexpensive way changing the character of the interior - changing the color of textile decor on the bed in the bedroom or sofas and armchairs in the living room. Replacing cushion covers is much easier than changing wall decoration or upholstery, which is why designers and their clients love this design technique so much.

Current color palette

As mentioned above, plain wall decoration has become an undisputed favorite in the design of residential premises. And it won’t be news to anyone that light shades in a single color are the most common way to create a universal background for a room. A light tone helps smooth out imperfections in architecture and surface treatment; it will not focus attention on flaws in the installation of window or doorways, will help to visually increase the volume of the room and will be an excellent backdrop for accent furniture or decorative elements.

The use of white color for wall decoration is also dictated by the influence of Scandinavian style on the formation modern style. Snow-white walls combined with wooden floors Warm colors are one of the key design motifs of Scandinavian homes. Maximum space and light are a priority in a room of any size. Namely White color, which practically does not absorb Sun rays, perfectly corresponds to the tasks and basic principles of the Scandinavian style.

Gray color never goes out of style. Its relevance can be observed for several seasons. Universal, neutral, but at the same time noble and solid - gray color combines perfectly with various color solutions interior Depending on the chosen shade, you can create a calm, dynamic or even dramatic atmosphere in the room. It is enough to choose a couple of tones to accompany the gray color (most often white and black, or snow-white surfaces and wood) and make one bright accent - original interior ready.

Black and white combinations in the design of modern premises are not the last place in the list of current ideas. On the one hand, such a design is easy to organize even if you have no design skills, but on the other hand, you can get a truly original, dynamic and stylish image of the room. Depending on the size and purpose of the room, which will be decorated in a contrasting way, light and dark tones are used to varying degrees of intensity. Of course, for small rooms light tone becomes the main one, dark color is used only to emphasize geometry and highlight particularly significant interior items. In spacious and bright rooms, a dark tone can be used as the main one for large furniture or finishing one of the surfaces.

Along with the relevance of using white and contrasting combinations, there is a color palette that will always be used. Warm shades Brown– from light beige, pastel shades to the deep, dark color of “bitter chocolate” they always create a cozy, comfortable environment for everyone, in which you just want to relax, unwind, and gain strength after working day for new achievements. That's why beige color scheme can be found in the most different rooms– from the bathroom to the living room, from the hallway to the kitchen area.

In a noisy, dynamic city, many residents of megacities dream of acquiring their own housing outside the city, where they could come on weekends, spend time in silence, enjoying the sound of tree leaves, birdsong, and saturate their bodies with fresh, clean air. Interior country house the inside is most often at least partially decorated with natural materials, namely wood and stone. 1. Classic style characterized by the use of natural wood parquet, as well as beautiful furniture with carved elements.
  2. Style involves the use of natural wood for making furniture, stone floor (can be replaced ceramic tiles), as well as a pastel palette of shades.
  3. Vintage style also suitable for a country house, since furniture made of wood or materials imitating wood is selected for such interiors, for example kitchen set light shade with panels on the facade, as well as bronze handles with ceramic floral inserts.
  4. Country Style consists entirely of wooden elements, be it flooring, furniture or wall decoration. Moreover, the furniture is often of a rough shape, as if it was made on a quick fix, for example, in the dining room there is a large table on massive legs, and a couple of chairs and benches are attached to it.
  5. Retro style involves a combination of wicker furniture with small soft sofas, as well as shelves filled with family dishes. If there is a fireplace in the house, then a rocking chair must be placed next to it.
  6. Chalet style captivates with its primitiveness, here stone (not necessarily natural) is used in the decoration of the walls, the floor is covered with rough parquet boards, and there is always a place for a fireplace.

Other premises in a country house.

If the area of the house allows, then you can equip a dressing room, where during the holidays you can place the things of the whole family, as well as store various blankets, bedspreads and bed sheets. In addition, the house may have a wine cellar, as well as guest rooms and a study (for those for whom work never completely lets go).

Living room with large fireplace:

The interior of a country house should be conducive to relaxation, and, if possible, be as different in design and style as possible from your city apartment. That is why the interior of a country house must be decorated with natural materials, using stone or wood in the decoration of walls and floors. Leave ultra-modern styles for decorating an apartment, and for a country house it is better to choose cozy and calm designs, such as modern Chalets, Vintage, Provence and Country. The essence of such modern room designs is to use the basis of one of the styles, but embodied with materials inherent in our century, that is, natural stone can be replaced with artificial, and natural wood in the manufacture of furniture, you can replace MDF with protective coating under the tree. Step-by-step implementation using an example

How is work on the project carried out?

Analyzing the situation

The customers are a young family with 2 children, a 3-storey country house, the material of the external walls is monolith, the second light in the living room is a ceiling height of 6.7 meters, we need to make 2 children's rooms, 3 bathrooms, a functional attic floor.

Before starting work on the project, our designers went out to measure the object and took photographs of all the rooms and communications nodes. Compiled directly on site technical task with the customer, where we discuss each room in detail, find out the customer’s preferences, his lifestyle, in order to provide everything necessary when preparing a planning solution.

We are working on a planning solution

Competent planning solution is the key to a comfortable life. The layout is the skeleton of the future interior, so at this stage it is necessary to think through everything to the smallest detail. The connection to communications largely determines the location of the rooms. As a result of the redevelopment, a maid's room, a sauna, and Gym and a relaxation room. The layout turned out to be logical and very convenient. The customers were satisfied.

We are working on a conceptual solution

Before starting work on visualization, we select analogues in a given style direction. We analyze them in detail at a personal meeting to determine which style and functional solutions the customer likes.

And having already defined the concept of the interior, we begin to develop sketches.

The entire studio takes part in the work on the sketches; everything is carefully thought out, discussed and then finalized. Only after this the finished 3D visualizations are shown to the customer.

We make drawings for builders, prepare estimates

For builders, we make detailed drawings, developments and diagrams necessary for the implementation of the project.

We include all finishing materials and furniture used in the project in a statement indicating the article numbers, quantity, cost and addresses of stores where they can be purchased.

The most difficult part is probably why it is the most interesting. Perfect renovation no problem this is a MYTH! It is always necessary to come to a compromise in the struggle for space, aesthetics and adequacy of prices already during the construction process.

During the implementation process, there always arises, I repeat, there is always a need to solve a bunch of problems: make changes to the project, change the positions of custom-made materials and furniture that have been discontinued, and a hundred other problems that will require an immediate solution. An unprepared person simply cannot cope with such work. We do this professionally with the proper enthusiasm and scrupulousness, which guarantees 100% exact compliance with the implementation of the design project without the participation of the customer.
